I have a 2020 TLX A-Spec V6 personally and got it about 6 months ago. not the fastest or snazzy thing out there but I love driving it and always find myself looking for a reason to take it for a spin. Cabin tech is outdated but I just leave the top screen showing carplay so its perfectly fine for me
I am a big Honda Acura fan. I have a 2004 Accord Coupe V6 6 speed. Fast car as well. Has the J30. And I am noticing that the motor in this Acura is almost IDENTICAL to my cars!! With the exception of it being more modern with direct injection. But the layout is the same pretty much. With engine components being in the same place as they were 16 years ago. It shows you that Honda and Acura make big changes without making changes hahaha
I just discovered your channel and was thoroughly entertained. I couldn't stop smiling at your almost, but not quite deadpan delivery...which oddly enough, showed so much personality. You obviously know your shit too. Subbed.
I'll echo the sentiments others have already put out, these car reviews are very well done and I like that the scoring is getting more and moe refined as time goes on.
I have build #160/360 , love your review of it. You pointed out all the reasons that solidified the purchase ☺️ THANK YOU!. I can only imagine what Doug Demouro rating would be 😂
Great review! Beautiful car agreed. Glad you were able to enjoy this. Imagine having this and in time supercharging and adding the wonderful tasty performance stuff that will make your heartbeat soar...Thanks again!
The last model year is always the best one in the long haul. The first model year is usually the most exciting one though. Especially so, if you're the early adopter who finds out just how fast things break. 😁
Mimicking Sarah " you rotate a little bit in the rear end". You have said that most press cars get crushed I wonder if they would crush that one or would they offer that one at a deep discount being that every car reviewer and their uncle is going to get their hands on it. Keeping an eye out for number 27. I agree that the final version of a model is the best. Being hand assembled were there technician signatures located anywhere? If not what was the point. Another great review Sarah
I definitely also believe that the Acura TL's 3.2 to 3.7 engines have a very classy sound when the accelerator is punched. You don't hear anything until you demand it.
It’s like I see this kind of Bmw Lexan shared to F1 compartment windscreen that’s wide at the front narrows to the back as it leads into the roof scoop that feeds air to that amazing rotary beast
Of all the car reviews I watch here on UA-cam yours are the best. You cover just what needs covering and have outside the car B-roll of you driving it. And oh, by-the-way I really like this car. Not normally a fan of red but this is a special color that is nice.
Once owned an ‘08 TL... it was a fantastic auto. Last model year of the ‘04-‘08 edition that was without a doubt the best looking and most unique version. Always turned heads. Too bad the styling got so ordinary and similar to other vehicles. Looks like the 2021 has some promise, though. Great review as always.
I don’t want the newest of the model but not the last year. The mid cycle update is usually my favorite. They’ve worked out the kinks but it’s still a fresh and update design. I can’t wait for the TLX Type S.
This is a nice car; I bet the last year is also likely to be more reliable too (not that Acuras aren't), since they have had more time to work out any kinks. What I'd love is for Acura to make a hatch/wagon!
That’s awesome you got that car i’m glad you got to review it, The paint Looks pretty special even across the inter-web I know these reviews are a lot of work but they look like fun two I hope that when you look back on them you remember the fun and not so much the work🐧🐧🐧👍
Getting the final edition of a vehicle gets you great value as well as all the manufacturing tweaks making it the most reliable car. However, there is nothing like driving an absolutely brand new model, plus it won't be the old model vehicle for at least 5 years.
Nice review. The car actually looked fast around those corners. BTW thanks for showing that Road Runner. We obviously don't see them in Australia and missed out on seeing one that hangs around the visitor's centre in Death Valley when my family was there in 2009.
You have the same reaction to seeing a roadrunner as I do. Only I don’t want to pet it. I want to watch it check someone into the boards because Tucson Roadrunner hockey is fun to watch.
Honda does a lot of things really damn well. The first NSX was revolutionary, and it sounds like this one continues the philosophy of building a super car one can live with day to day. I’m on only my third Accord since 1988. No, I did not buy replacements between Accords. 👍👏✌️
I've got a TLX Advanced SH-AWD. I friggin love the induction howl. Buuuuuuuut...I'm torn on whether to keep this one and upgrade some "stuff" or sign up for a new Type S OR get a Dad Wagon (Subaru Outback XT). Decisions... ...
Awesome review of this Acura tlx pmc. You did the greatest job of pushing its limits. Great job on this Acura. Thanks for your opinion on this one. Byyeee Johnny from Chicago
I'm surprised that you can legally have amber parkers, if you looked at it from the side as a pedestrian you might think they are turning? Love the J series, looks tough too!
🇨🇦❤ Awesome video!!!! That red paint is absolutely beautiful...I bought my 2016 TLX V-6-3.5L-SH-AWD new and absolutely love it and it's absolutely amazing in the winter here in Canada 🇨🇦, I live north of Toronto...great review, looking forward to seeing the 2021 TLX Type S....
I would say last model year. In my case I'm putting some things back to older in the mk3 line, where they made things cheaper throughout, cheery picking the best to put together the best. Oem+ ftw
How about a review of cars that you think are the “Best Bang for the Buck”? 50k cars and 75k trucks are a little out of my budget. Anything out there for around 25-30k that would be a fun vehicle to drive?
It wouldn’t be too difficult. OEM orange peel exists because modern cars are painted by robots. Repaired cars are painted by human hands. Painters have a harder time intentionally replicating OEM orange peel, than they do just painting a car with no orange peel.
I absolutely love your videos, that red is magic but I would personally prefer white, it's the only colour I don't get sick of after a few months. 🐧🍪🦘🇦🇺
If we are talking about a regular 2020 TLX A Spec vs a 2021 it’s no contest 2021 everyday even if you get the base engine the power output is close to the NA V6 in the old car. Now if it’s the PMC edition it’s is a little bit harder of a choice. my local dealership has one in the showroom the video doesn’t do that color justice. Overall I think I’d wait for the new one
Given Acura's history, the first year new redesign model almost ALWAYS have issues. There will be a TON of service bulletins coming out in the first two years. The true reliability won't stabilize until the Mid-Model Change. So I agree, the final year of the current production model is the best.
Nice looking car. It doesn't look dated at all. It's probably better than the replacement. New cars always come with bugs and seem to be sent out for customers to beta test them. This one is a gold master.
Hello Sara, I want to buy MR2 turbo cause of you or integra DC2 cause of Vtec. With what car I will be more happy? Now I have celica gen7 wittmann edition, its nice but slow :(
Nice paint and nice car, but they still leave stuff on the table with all season tires and standard brakes. Its probably just final assembly by hand. The engine, seats, dash, etc probably all arrive ready to add in. You've yet to review any BMWs. Drive the M2 Competition, X3, 330i or M340i. Also check out a BMW Performance Driving School.
1st time viewer here, I"M IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!! Sadly I only own a base 3.5 fwd TLX. :( I wonder how much value I will lose if I trade it for the new Sport turbo V6??? I only have 3500 miles on it!
Look up the 3rd Generation Acura TL. It is widely regarded as the best looking, most timeless midsized sedan ever made. If there's anything that beats it... it's the Acura Legend.
@@aviatorsdream4686 I love old Legends! I live in the rust-belt, though, so it has been a long time since I've seen any 3rd Gen TLs or Legends (or Vigors).
I rather wait for the car model's last year to buy it rather than getting a new car model. When you get the "last year" of the car model, you get the most refined model before a refresh or discontinuation of that vehicle. With an all-new vehicle, sure you'll get the newest vehicle, but you also get to try out the problems and glitches that will be addressed in the later versions. Then again, like computers, if you think you can wait until next year to get those problems fixed, then you'll be waiting forever because there'll always be a new vehicle model coming out.
I agree with you that the last year of a model is the best. It just is. That paint is gorgeous. Thanks, Sarah, stay safe.
That red is so amazing. Probably one of the best paint jobs from factory on a car that doesn't cost millions of dollars.
Most honest, real, entertaining and intelligent car reviewer on UA-cam...
Non of the men car reviewers compare to her 💯
I just realized that that was my first time seeing a real roadrunner after being a fan of loony toons for so long... :O

That color is absolutely lovely, holy crap. I know it's expensive but the fact that it's hand assembled is awesome!
Honda had updated to those vented rotor hats on their odysseys and pilots because they had issues with rotor warpage. Smart move.
Theyve gotten that heavy damn
What a gorgeous color, and the interior looks great. Nice to see Acura giving the old TLX a nice sendoff.
"Hey look, a Roadrunner". Things llike that are what make your reviews so awesome.

Woot. As part of Acura working in Acura (Just in their parts department in one of the dealers) Loved the paint on these PMC,
I'm a last year kind of guy,.I used to like new versions but have learned over the years that the tried and true is so much better.
Great car as great review as well !! Who ever gets one of this will be very proud of having this gorgeous edition.
