    Thank you for this informative video, as I was oblivious to it before. Now, I know what to look out for when searching for German schools
    My question is this: apart from being tuition-free, do most German schools also award other scholarships or assistantships that would cover for one's living expenses and/or stipends?

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  Рік тому

      Yes, you can apply to departmental scholarship or hiwi job (student assistant to PhD or Postdoctoral Researcher)
      You can also work with amazon DHL or other companies during the holiday.

    Thanks for this video. But there was a University calculating my GPA in German scale to be 2.8 but by my calculation using this formula/method you presented here, it is 2.1/2.2. They told me the minimum scale they used is 2.5 and I wonder why they used that instead of 1. How accurate are these people?

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  Рік тому +1

      You should write to that school and attach your university grading system to the email. In that email, you have to explain that the minimum grade a student can finish with is 1 and the max as 5 (depends on your school, e.g UI uses 7)
      That you graduated with X and using the TUM grade conversion tool, your grade in the German equivalent is Y.
      Sometimes, they assumed that every uni has a 7 point or 10 point system

    Just came across this, I studied physics education and would like to continue my masters in education but I graduated with 3.0 I don’t know if it’s possible

      Hi Faith, nice to read your comment and welcome to my channel.
      Although 3.0 is below the requirements but I will go ahead and make applications. Some courses have low application turn-over and you may be lucky to get an admission. My recommendation would be to go ahead snd make many applications

    Thank you for the information! I was wondering will I be able to get an admission in masters with no tuition fees since I have a below average GPA of 3.2 but I have a relevant work experience of 4 years.

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  Рік тому

      You're welcome!
      If you convert your GPA to the German equivalent, you should be able to apply for Mssc in schools accepting the 2.2 and the tuition is not dependent on your qualifications.

      It might be difficult to get admission but you will get admission in some universities.
      you have to write a strong statement of purpose stating your experiences as well.

    Thanks for this video. Can i study Dentistry in Germany with 2.5 GPA ?

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  Рік тому

      Do you mean the German 2.5 GPA. If so, Yes.
      But most medical related courses are taught in German.
      You can apply to do a 6 months intensive course before the start of your program. That way, your knowledge of the German language will be suited to dona German taught program

    Hello dear I want to read the same course you are doing but I had 3.1 after converting it. Can I get admission without scholarship??

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Gideon,
      2.5 is the minimum requirement but that doesn't mean that you can't get admission. You should be able to get admission without a scholarship. You need a good motivation letter and lab experience in your CV.
      I know some people got admission with 2.9, so yours shouldn't be any different.

    • @_ebunolu
      @_ebunolu Рік тому +1

      Same here, I had a 3.1 too🥺

    • @AliceritaE
      @AliceritaE  Рік тому

      Don't be doscourage about 3.1
      If you have relevant work experience in your field of study, it also counts as points. And can improve your application

      No tuitiom fees, I paid semester contribution of €300 per semester. The semester contribution is also for free access to buses and trains transportation within the region as a whole.
