If you haven't seen the movie "1900" with Robert DeNiro as a young man, Donald Sutherland as a Nazi, etc. "Ti raccomando." It is a great historical epic, the sets and scenery of Italy circa 1900 are amazing. It's a great way to hear different speakers, and see the pre-WWI culture, and the internal struggles of the era.
French and Spanish, from what i hear is quite close to Italian. Spanish sounds very close to me. French, in my opinion is a super nice sounding language. German sounds harsh. I'd like to learn French one day.
beardan76 Spanish would definitely have some more practical applications for me but I agree that French sounds awesome too. German I may have had in the mix as I wandered if I should stick with the romantics or venture beyond :) Kind of a personal challenge thing.

+Don Schneider - Thank you for the Tip Don.
Around 10 minutes in Chuck you mention you will be starting to learn a yet to be determined language. What have you narrowed it down to?
French, Spanish or German
