I like that level look. I have my Grandpa’s 2005 regular cab long bed Silverado. I’m working on making it look less like a farm truck. I put 2007 model aluminum wheels on it, and I have put 2007 SILVERADO badging on the doors and tailgate, along with the 2007 bow tie emblem on the tailgate. I think of it as a “what if” model. I’m using OEM parts to customize it. I also have a center seat fold down console that the truck was not equipped with when my Grandpa bought it new. I have also put a custom SS gauge cluster in the almost perfect condition dash. The 20 year old truck only has about 111,000 miles on it. Your video shows the process of lowering the rear to be level with the front. The simplicity of it makes me want to do this with my truck. You just don’t see regular cab trucks on the road anymore. Not since they were turned into grocery getting family cars. I like how simple the lowering looks to do. It can also be undone easily by reinstalling the stock parts. I liked and subscribed. Thanks for the great video.
I watched for burnout truck updates. DANG! I guess I've been lucky😳 done 4 sets of drop shackles over the years on my own and friends truck's, my c1500 had over 600k on it but we don't really see much rust here in west Texas😎 one of the few things that makes me appreciate our dry climate.
Man I m hav ing the same problem. U didn’t have light on the spring I didn’t c what happened. Did u drill bolt head off or get a bigger grinder. Rusty bolts Pain n my - x x Keep em going. 👍
Had the same thing happen to me it was hell getting it out but I ended up putting the drop shackles in had to sawzall the shackle off I ended up buying a new one of the one I cut in case I wanna put it back on
Got my bed off right now and pounding these old bolts and using a torch they ain’t moving got some belltech 2” drops but ain’t gonna be no use if they don’t come out lol
Thanks for your fast response. I assumed that. But It also went through my mind, removing the 4 inch blocks and installing 2 inch shackles. Thanks again.🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yeah cause the jack stands holding the frame up is definitely not how we did it? Buddy try watching the whole video next time before you write a stupid comment 😂

Hit the fuck out of it with a hammer🤣 back and forth
do you need the over load spring? i have the same kit and want to me level with my front
Looks sweet!
Bro i need to know the size of the rims plssssss
Bro where is the link to buy 😢😢😢
Heat bolts air hammer out or torch off ends
How the ride after dose it ride rough
Does it change draft shaft angle
Torch goes a long way with getting spring shackles out...... Esp in Ohio....
Mine went pretty smooth and I have 360 thousand
What if I have 4 inch blocks..what's the best thing I could do If I want to drop it 2 inches from the back?
Take the 4” blocks out and put 2”
Blocks

Did my yesterday if them bolts don’t come out just spin it back and forward with a impact that should clean the bolts alittle
Question... im about to put some drop shackles (2inch) on my 96 Ranger. Does this effect my Alignment?
No only messing with the front will affect the alignment
@bgibson8189 Appreciate that!
I figured as much but I had a parts guy tell me otherwise. 🤙🏻
atleast show the full truck from a distance lol
Do not take the leaf spring out buy lowering hanger instead
Does it need an alignment if you do that to the back only?
I put 2" drop shackles on my 2000 gmc sierra, couldn't even tell it did anything at all.
You guys are suppose to tighten the spring bolts when it's under load not in the air. Newbies
You can definitely tell we are lifted truck guys
Huh
It was a bitch because you lifted it from the diff instead of lifting it from the frame an setting it on stands 😂
Yeah cause the jack stands holding the frame up is definitely not how we did it? Buddy try watching the whole video next time before you write a stupid comment 😂
Makes the truck ride worse and makes the tires wear worse
That’s completely wrong my guy lol I’ve lifted, leveled and Lowered these trucks and none of them rode as good as this one.
For lowering it 2 inches from the rear?
👁️👁️😦😄
I learned nothing and seen nothing 😢
