If y'all need work done to your trucks in the DFW area or you wanna bring your truck to me from wherever you're from, message my instagram @jackstandbuilds I do great work for great pricing! Cam swaps, engine swaps, headers, trans swaps, etc. HMU!
I really liked the totally man I have been looking for a video like thia for a while and usually they don't show you how to do it and you did it great. It's pretty simple when someone shows you the right way.
just go get a set of leaf springs from the junk yard dismantlers right there in haltom only charged me $25 each side for the leaf springs and you get the shackles with them(got lucky found a truck with drop shackles sold those for $40 and nearly made my money back but it rides way better (my truck) because previous owner removed middle leaf spring
Could you do the hanger then the drop shackle? I went ahead and did the hanger before doing the drop shackle not sure if that makes a difference though.
@@alexayala6720 if you don’t have an air hammer than I would totally take the bed off otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time hammering the rivets out.
I just installed those shackles on my 94 c2500..but i put my on with the open in facing the rear...does this affect anything? Oh...it only gave me about a 1 inch drop...I'm confused?
Hey I did the exact same thing to my truck 2003 GMC Sierra single cab my truck is squeaking bad why do you think that’s happening I installed hangers and shackles
I wish someone would show this with the bed still on. I cannot get the upper shackle bolt out as it hits the frame. And the spring hits the bottom of the bed before the bolt clears the frame for removal. Fucking wonderful...
@@jackstandbuilds I bent the seam on the bottom side of the bed up and took some of it down with a 60 grit flap disk on an angle grinder, then jacked up the ass end of the leaf until the bolt had just enough room. If it wasn't for the seam of the bed, it wouldnt have been an issue at all. And I'm not doing hangers, not going that low. Yet.

@@Arcticfy btw, we can have a conversation on IG but I'll charge 400$ for a cam swap you bring the parts. 500$ if I have to pull the heads
Still have the stock hangers? I'll buy them off you.
@@jackstandbuilds where are you located

Front drop spindles only..
And also did a v6 v8 swap.. Got a really good deal on a 6.0 lq9
Do you know if 06 spindles fit my 08 gmc I ordered the wrong year I’m stressing they look identical

The 06s don’t have rivets they have welds all along the edge of the factory hanger. Looks fun to remove.
Great video. Best one i found, good job man help me out a lot!!!!!
Drivin around on full slicks I love it lol
Thanks for the help, definitely going to follow what you did. Thanks again
Bro great video, I really appreciate it. Keep it up brother!

There was no need to drop the gas tank or remove the bed.
I think he just lifted it so he won’t blow up ig but other the bed I don’t know
I’m about to do this project thx for that tip I was hoping I wasn’t gonna have to take off the bed and gas tank lol

@@Jimmyxsx alright thx what I don’t get you don’t need the bottom piece anymore like the stock one does
@@alexayala6720 no you dont need it.
Great video 👍🤓👍 well shot
Did you use the axle shim kit with the 6513 hanger kit?
Did you remove a leaf spring
I was told I need to change my hangers back to the originals to drop it more from the back
What brand are those hangers sir?
Cool stuff man 👍
Thanks 👍
Dont think it matters, but i think you put the shackles with the plate facing toward the rear instead of facing the front.

Since your truck us missing a leaf spring does it still ride good or is it bouncy or mushy?
it rides like crap. I need to get a new set of em, I had to take the shackles off cause it was bottomed out
How would lowering shackles and lowering blocks would look ? Random question
Dope I’ll try to cover my install
is it stock in the front? or is it slightly dropped in the front aswell?
Will this work on longbeds?
What size tires in the back bro 🔥
Is it stock suspension up front ?
I Did the hangers and shackles too. Sits just slightly lower in the back
Did you experience and wobble bc of the hangers ?
Ruelas no I didn’t
What was done to the front and is it 4x4 I’m trying to lower mr rcsb but it’s 4x4
Great vid lots of help before I do mine
Would you sell the stock leaf spring hangers by chance? Please let me know I’d be interested in buying them.
Did you find a set? Im about to take mine off
so i know that a 95 ram will be different but if i drop it 2in on a shackle and 2in on a hanger will i need to c notch the frame?
Did u drop it?
where u get the headers
link please
Good work Brother
What height drop is this w/ hangers and brackets? 3, 4?
Sits nice 👌 Is it lowered in the front ?
v6 240k mile suspension in the front. Its just all sagging. Gonna replace it all soon
Do you need to install the hangers or can you just drop it with the shackles?
You can just use shackles by themselves they give you like a 2 inch drop but with the hangers it drops a little bit more
Where did u get the rims nd wat size
So when installing this hanger the bottom piece you don’t use no more ?
No, I just buzzed mine off.
Good shit 🔥🔥🔥
First step take the bed off. But I cant. The bolts just spin.
I have shackles and hangers ya know why is didn’t when to low like this one
What rims are those
Sick 🔥
My rivets will not pop through
4.8 gonna hurt some feelings😬
Turbo ls for the W
Those hangers are for the rear of crew cab trucks
RedDevil ent. Thanks bro it had me confused
So are those the hangers I need for a 2002 silverado ext cab. The ones that didn't fit 1st..
Suelo cuh

Guess I'm going to cut the fucking bolt head off and get 2 (both sides I'd assume) new ones for install.
Haven’t had the shackle bolt hit the frame. The hanger bolt will hit the tank
