I've had my 2000 Stepside for 18 years and been wanting to lower it ever since the moment I bought it. Think I'm finally going to start on it. Have 23" Bazo B4 wheels on it now. The wheels that are on it, on my profile pic are the old 22" American Racing wheels. Pic was taken last Summer
Hell yeah man keep uploading videos for us. Love the content so far. Btw 1 question is this a 4x4? Just got my 00 Silverado step-side & i don’t know much about these trucks.
What size shocks you used after you done the drop kit? To make it fit correctly then the stock height shocks? And did you do the spring or spindle drop? In the front
@@joshua-.-553 it does not, the kit I installed was already designed with the pinion angle in mind, I know some kits come with wedges you can install to correct the angle but so far this one has been performing great!
About to do this on mine! 1999, but it's 4 wheel drive. I'm converting it to all wheel drive. Great video bro! Thanks for posting
Nice man glad I was able to help! Good luck on the build!

@@DannyBuiltIt Thank you
Clean install 🧼
Hey quick question with a 2/4 drop would you have issues with your CV axles breaking ?
Would you happen to know the part number for the upper ball joints? I have a 06 gmc sierra.

I appreciate your support bro! But no this is a 2wd. Your truck is going to turn out dope man!
Looks good bro u ever post the front end dropped?
Thank you man, but no my tripod had ended up breaking the same week so I wasn’t able to record it which really sucked.
So couldn't you just remove the OEM rear leaf lift blocks and then dial in the torsion bars?

I’m not sure what size but you can find the right ones on the beltech website. I used 2 in spring on the front
Drop a description of what you used for your drop.
I used beltech drop shocks all around and I used Mcgaughys 2/4 drop kit, it’s been holding up great
Excellent job, I'm in the process of doing this for my '99 GMC Sierra 1500 Single Cab. What's the 2/4 drop kit you recommend to get?
I appreciate it man! I went with the Mcgaughys drop and it’s doing well so far
doesn't belltech have the same drop kit?
Yes, I believe they do
do you have to remove the bed to install?
Hey man you don’t have to, although it would give you a lot more space
Change those leaf bushings whilst you’re there!
I should’ve!
Hey Danny, I got a 99 step side Chevy 1500 on some 22’s, what shocks did you get?
Hey man, I had gotten the beltech nitro shocks I’m not sure what the part number was but the truck rides pretty good on the bumpy roads
@@DannyBuiltIt I wanna get a 2/4 but i heard it’ll mess with the pinion angle, does ur truck have a wobble now when u go fast?

@@DannyBuiltIt thanks bro
