    JJ, I think you are my soul sister. We have the exact same way of thinking. I will be 50 this year. I've been consistently training for almost 30 of those years. Adopted also, no knowledge of my genes. Lifting and feeding my body what it needs is why I don't look and feel 50. Could easily pass for my 30s. So thankful that I am not the only one who sees life this way. So many excuses these days. It is not hard to educate yourself and find a way to prioritize your health in 2024. I have lived through hell and back and have never wavered. It's a lonely road for sure. You are such an inspiration. 💪🔥

    How to lose weight ?
    Hike the Appalachian Trail 10 to 20 miles per day 12 to 15 hrs per day. I lost 1/2 pound per day.

    I mean no disrespect by my upcoming comment. You mentioned your husband lost 20 lbs of body fat and gained 19 lbs of muscle and I am finding it difficult to figure out how he did that. I’ll just let the 20 lbs of fat slide and think about the 19 lbs of muscle in 6 months. I don’t see that happening without the use of steroids. Only five pounds of lean muscle in a year is quite a bit for a man who I assume is around your age. Pardon me if he is much younger than you.

    More fruit is best. I also have a concern about the Venice beach bodybuilders. They are lean and muscular because of drugs. Bad comparison. Overall, good advice.

    So, this A story about her. Summary? Get healthy to lose weight, 1 gr protein for every 7 lb,..weight train , cardio makes visceral fat. Guess I will see if she has her own video that will give better instruction for someone other than her ..something for others. Very long vid to get 1 or 2 points. Oh and at end something for fight or flight.

      I think it’s meant to be 1gm of protein per pound of target body weight I.e. you want to weigh 130lbs eat 130gms of protein to support that. 😀🙏

      Wrong. All calories are not the same. Eat 1000 cal of ice cream or 1000 cal broccoli. It’s science. Do a deep dive into how your body burns/ stores macros.
