He tells me that he expected me to try and run up the middle and flank him that way when he ran to my right.

Uncertain of autistic soldiers being a good idea. Lots of different spectrums of autism can cause you to question anything told. While conditioning is possible, it woild be quite complicated on those specific cases. This is why autistic people are generally deemed unfit for military service.

As far as I know, he does all this himself. Which is why it takes him so long to get these gems out there for us.

Uncertain of autistic soldiers being a good idea. Lots of different spectrums of autism can cause you to question anything told. While conditioning is possible, it woild be quite complicated on those specific cases. This is why autistic people are generally deemed unfit for military service.

It's just like not autistic people, some are built for it others not. Hell, the only reason I'm not in the military is a combination of previous injuries and pre-existing health conditions, much to my local recruiter's lament. High functioning autistic people can make for some amazing soldiers, my half brother certainly was.
