Kmac is the single most underrated content creator on UA-cam. His meme, his serious music, he's such a talent, and I believe he deserves more recognition and success. Always enjoy seeing him getting some love. To think how much Rob has inspired literally THOUSANDS to likely HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of musicians (or more!) like Kmac out there is such an important feat, he's one of the guitar worlds' most important people. Rob, you're a treasure, and you deserve every bit of success you have achieved, and will no doubt continue to in the future. All love.
A Collapse is important to me as a bassist because it was one of the first solo bass songs I could play that really shows other people how absolutely beautiful the bass guitar can sound outside of mean slapping riffs and some funk goodness
The pandemic has slowed down our filming but it has REALLY sped up the amount of covers coming in from fans :) Thanks for being a part of this channel for getting it to 2 million subscribers!
Rob, the proper thing to do here is to take the audio from all the rain covers on things other than guitar and mix them into 1 video with you playing lead on guitar. The Rain collab.
Rob is one of those creators who is the embodiment of what I strive to be in a musician. Not locked into any scene or anything. Just adventurous. Always a pleasure Rob 💜
Could you do a video where you play a Mandolin Bass? They are like a cross between an upright and a mandolin- a strange instrument indeed. Congrats on 2M!

Congrats on the 2 mil, Rob! This is so well deserved. Your presence on youtube honestly makes it a much better place. There's a certain warmth you radiate. Not only are you (and your team and your guests) ridiculously talented, your willingness to lift other musicians up, and even encourage non-musicians, is what makes this channel the best corner on youtube!
Duuuuude can you believe I still watch your channel?? Haha thanks for featuring my old PVC marimba again - my parents got tired of it being in their basement after I moved out so now it’s been torn apart and thrown away...but it still lives on UA-cam :D
This video made me realize how long it's been since I listened to your Anchor EP. Shoutout to these people for making me remember how great it is. Also that downtuned For That Second... Almost mysterious sounding. So good!

Watching through the video and thinking "wow I feel really motivated to learn a Rob Scallon cover since he's sharing some of them, I might even get on an Insta story" forgetting that I'd even mentioned him in a video before. Seeing my face on the screen confused me so much and I didn't get too into it in the video but Rob has brought absolute endless hours of joy during good times and endless amounts of distraction during bad times throughout the years that I've watched him. Knowing that he watched my video has been so amazing and it's my birthday tomorrow as well. Do keep up all you do, Rob. It is genuinely incredible.
It's really cool how nice and supportive you are Rob. You spread a good vibe and message with being the way you are. I remember a couple of years ago I met you and Fluff and Jared at NAMM and it was like meeting some old friends or something. You're a cool dude and I hope things keep going good for ya!

Thank you so much for watching my video! I am at a loss for words and can only thank you for writing such beautiful pieces of music! Edit: Never in a million years would I have expected Rob himself to react to my cover. Absolutely surreal.
I’ve always wanted to learn guitar but Rob’s music is what actually made me buy my first guitar. Since then, I’ve been on a long musical journey and it all started with the first album and the Anchor EP. I don’t think Rob realizes how much that EP and this channel means to some of us. I spent a long time listening to that record over and over again and it is beyond any music I’ve ever heard. I just got my dads old record machine working and my first thought was to try and purchase an Anchor vinyl. I’d like to have a physical memento of the music, musician, channel, and overall just great guy that Rob is. I mean this when I say it, Rob changed my life for the good. I now have a hobby, an interest, and a reason to enjoy the things that I do and it’s all because some teenager across the word from me decided to start posting music on UA-cam.

I started learning because of you, and even though I'm still very much an amateur, I'm thankful to you to give me such a nice hobby for myself! I hope your channel achieves much bigger heights because it definitely deserves it!
Rob, I have a request! After all that quarentine situation it's over can you bring a cavaco/cavaquinho player? It's a typical brazilian instrument created in Portugal. Like a ukulele but with only steel string and used on our music styles like samba, pagode and the many variations, and I think you're gonna like learning.
three years later i still can't believe you added me in this video (15:11). when I first saw this video I was 18 and had just begun my journey into becoming a full time musician and had serious doubts about my ability to do so, this video gave me the confidence to know I was on the right path. thank you again rob!
