Did Intel make any decent points in this ad? or was it just hilariously cringe and pointless?
Lol are you trolling?! 😂
Yup definitely the latter 😅
Nope, just petty shade 😅🤣
The upgradibility point was decent, other than that, it was unbelievably cringe.
There were decent points but the execution was hilariously cringe and pointless
It’s so funny they keep focusing on Apple while AMD casually stomps them at every turn
That's why these exist ...
AMD & Apple> Intel
IKR remember when they increased the price of their CPU's at a ridiculous range and us gamers complaining this is karma a long time coming.
because apple silicon is the real threat to them..
The thing is they simply can't fight AMD. The people who even care about chipsets know straight up that AMD is smoking Intel right now, and no amount of advertisement can change that general opinion. They have no choice but to attack Apple.
Intel literally begging Apple to destroy them with new M1X Macs in the October event
People constantly keep saying these great new Macs are right around the corner... yet they never come out. Wasn't Apple supposed to have nearly all their machines converted over to their own chips at this point? Whatever happened to that?

Almost got burn injury using Intel-based MBP. Changed to M1 Max, I can comfortably put it on my lap.
It’s so funny that instead of comparing the cpus they emphasize more on the design that has nothing to do with intel.
It actually makes sense cause in terms of power, apple silicon absolutely crushes intel.

I've used laptops since the 90s. I've never thought that having a touch screen on one of them was something that I needed.
Probably because they didn't have anything like a modern tablet in the 90s. Except for futuristic designs on shows like Star Trek.
I completely agree with you. Never once did I feel it was better to reach up from the keyboard to tap on the screen. It doesn't help things that the MacBook track pad is so damn good.
@@KipVaughan The only time I used touch screen on my laptop was Windows 8. Windows 10 was never designed for tablets and touch displays, Windows 8 was much better for tablets.
Right? It is tiresome and gets your display full of fingerprints!
The iPhone, iPad and Apple watch all have touch screens. Seems to work pretty good. I have an old Toshiba laptop with a touch screen and it did come in handy to use for certain tasks. But yeah finger prints are sort of a problem.
Intel caused so many problems for apple that they had to deal with. I’m glad intel is getting what they deserve by getting ditched by the Mac and gaming community. Can’t wait for it to start in business windows laptops
They should have had a bunch of people complaining about how cold their apartments are, and how an Intel chip will keep kitty toasty warm no matter what.

Imagine a Mac user that opens a Windows computer and doesn't notice that it is running Windows?
I have to say, mi mom didnt knew the difference when i got her a macbook, she went straight for "this computer is more modern". When her iphone 8 broke, i got her a iphone 7 that i had, that had an updated IOS and she swear that the new phone is "more advanced" mainly because of the search bar at the bottom.
So no, people don't know shit, cant even spell the name of the device right even when is written on the back of it. So when they use a windows machine for a few months and it breaks right after the guarantee runs out, they go back to apple.

If your advertising is mostly an attempt at bad mouthing your competitor then you've got a real problem.
You are just giving your competitor free ad space on your OWN time.
Silly Intel, just let your products stand on their own merit and if the people like it they will buy it.
How about the Apple 1984 ad campaign?
Intel isn't doing a great job innovating anymore so they rely on cheap-shot ads like this to hope that it sticks with someone the right way, even though anyone revolved in the tech space will just see their ads as a cringe meme.
Apple should know. They are the experts at bad mouthing their competitors IBM, Microsoft and Intel since they were so anti PC for so many years.

As an ex-Intel employee, this sort of low rent advertising from Intel is sad to see. Intel are giving credibility to Apple’s strategy by attacking them. Also, negative advertising tends to say that your own products/strategy is inferior. If you make the best products then this sort of thing is irrelevant. To be clear, I do not use a Mac or have ever owned one.
One more reason to choose AMD over Intel processors.
I wouldn't say Intel CPUs are bad, though their advertising is quite the contrary
If I ever go PC again, I will go AMD.
That right there is a big brain move
it's about performance and performance per cost to me, if intel would rather rant the competition rather then investing in R&D to make better processors that can compete with the competition.
yeah, now u only 2 choose, AMD or Apple silicon
I don’t want a touch screen on my laptop, I don’t want a second display where my keyboard should be. I want a fast, cool running laptop with a battery that lasts longer than I do. That’s why I have an M1 Macbook. Even if I was to buy a PC, it would have an AMD Inside. This Intel ad just reinforces my decisions, thanks Intel 👍
Exactly it lasts me full day of charge in the morning i go to college and in the evening i come back with almost 10% of battery. With an intel pc i get only 5 hours and searching for an outlet mid class
I have an intel chip in my gaming pc and it's really crappy, they can't optimise chips for crap.

The whole second display thing makes literally no sense. Incredibly un-ergonomic for one thing, since you have to then stare down at your keyboard in order to use it. And why take up keyboard real estate with something like that? Just hook up to an external monitor if you need that second screen so desperately
That's adorable.

We should just watch Intel suffer.
Lemme grab some popcorn and beer!
Alder Lake is looking quite good in terms of raw performance. It's likely going to ding AMD for a while until they can come up with their next big thing. I don't know if 3D chips with much more cache is going to be enough. Intel is really cranking up the prices for Alder Lake as well and I think that's going to leave a pretty sour taste with consumers. And, it's unclear how much power Alder Lake chips will use to get all of that compute power. It's possible that it takes an outrageous amount of power to hit those great benchmarks. I saw the prices in Europe yesterday and .... no thanks. With having to buy MB, RAM, GPU, PSU, big cooler and the currently grossly related prices, I'm thinking that M1X Macs are a bargain in comparison.

The usual "intel didn't actually mention anything related to their chips" was my favourite part. Just some "features" that other manufacturers offer in products that happen to contain their chips. Weird that AMD doesn't seem as worried about Apple.

As a creative professional, I had tried using one of those 2 in 1 PC laptops that fold in half. There were a couple of occasions initially where it seemed to be a useful feature but the experience was just bad. The Windows operating system was mostly to blame.
The best combination I have experienced for my work is the MacBook Pro and my iPad with an Apple Pencil. Another company sells a thing called Luna display. It makes the iPad and Mac the perfect duo for my design work, even on the go.
I still own a large gaming PC that I occasionally have to use with certain programs but I’ll probably never buy another PC laptop again, unless I have to.

I’ve used windows and android products for most of my life. Always have been a huge advocate for the products and I’m a gamer as well. But this year I decided to switch over to apple products specifically just for the user experience and the ecosystem and it’s been great!
Would I ever switch back? Not unless I had a really good reason too.
Now for gaming I do plan to buy/build a gaming PC with an AMD (sorry intel) processor in the future. But I always planned to have separate devices for work and gaming anyways. 🤷🏾♀️
Yeah, it's a really bad time to build a gaming rig though. I figured I'd toss $700 at a basic PC to play games when I got my M1 Mac and could no longer run BootCamp. But $700 is just the price of the GPU these days. People wonder if gaming to come to Mac, but I'm starting to think gaming might just decline on the PC and people won't even care about lack of games on the Mac.
I'm a recent Mac convert. I went through so many "fancy" PCs, including a Microsoft Surfacebook. The ideas were good but they were so unreliable! The first time my Mac prompted me with the "I'm going to install these updates tonight" I laughed because my PCs would NEVER complete updates on their own. I was amazed when I opened my Air the next morning and it had done it! It's the small things....
Windows has an option to install updates when shutting down.
“The M1 chip absolutely cremates intel chips, actually the M1 doesn’t have to because the intel runs so hot by itself” that got me 😂😂
The M1 is just a dongle to run OSX. It runs less, faster. Apple cant make an M2 chip so are looking at Risc-V instead. Youve bought an expensive experiment. The new Mac pros are Intel lol. As I stated, Apple has only around 10% of the desktop market. If you were correct, the M1 would be big news. Its not. A year has passed and it cant scale up. Apple had to release the M1x which is only slightly better. So wheres the M2? Only Apple is trying to push ARM on desktop. No one else is because of the compatability problems caused. Thats why Apple is best sticking to phones rather than desktop. They arnt a competitor anymore. ARM is in trouble, its being sold to NVIDIA. Apple hates them. Thats why Apple is looking at RISC-V, you dont even know what that is. You stick to your fantasies my friend lol.
As for ARM being the future, its over 20 years old. Apple are behind the times my friend. You seem to belive only the marketing but bear in mind that 10%, not much is it? Intel and AMD have much better available than the M1. Thats why corporates arnt buying anything M1 based. Its a dead end. Any software bought for it only runs on Apple M1. Not good for anyone. Especially if Apple ditch ARM and go for RISC-V.

@@DeepSeas.. my mom has an HP laptop and it takes like 20 seconds just to open chrome or a folder
Does this mean we're very close to new MacBooks, I think so.
@T2 Animates If anyone has any idea of Apple's timeline, it would be Intel. And I would release a smear campaign ahead of the launch as well
While watching this video I got this ad as an ad
Having a touchscreen for my keyboard sounds terrible
These anti-Apple ads are just hilariously funny 😄
I watched and I still prefer Apple....sorry Intel, you lost! LOL
I love how they get an email from Intel and walk into a building plastered with their branding then think that people watching the advert are dumb enough to think it’s real when the (clearly not) actors are shocked it’s not made by apple.
Lol I got an Intel advert pop up while typing this
It’s 2021 and we still seeing anti-apple ads😐
Intel is salty af they lost Apple's business to Apple's own M1 processor
4:29 "My kids would be ecstatic". You see she doesn't give a shit for gaming, just like most mac users.
i just got the ad before video starts😂😂
For a guy who has used PC for a very very long time and switched to the M1 Mac recently, I can assure you, as flashy as they’re trying to make PC look, I don’t NEED half the stuff they portray as selection criteria. For a company which STILL sells their processors with Apple. Seriously Intel? 🤦🏻♂️
I’m “shocked, shocked” that these are actors in a commercial! How low can Intel go using actors - harumph.
So Intel are saying: Don't buy an Intel Mac, you can't use it for gaming. Even if it uses our processor.
Another great video Luke.Hilarious
The funny bit is Apple was really inferior (at the same price level at the very least) when it was still using Intel, now it's 4 yrs ahead as per Intel (leaked) admission!
It's still inferior at equal pricing
"Sign me up, I brought my debit card"...Actors. I guy walks into a bar...buys a PC?
“Do you guys take Apple Pay?”
“run my debit card” 🤢🤮
These ads ironically made me less likely to buy Intel!
Intel: do you know PCs can run windows?
This particular focus group: No way! That’s awesome!
To put these ads out on the 10th anniversary of Steve’s passing. smh smh.
That's what I thought. And there's no way that wasn't on purpose.
oh I didn't know. That's a pretty trashy move from intel.
The “one more thing…” bit was pretty cocky
@@Eweyhen True I agree as it's Apple's classic move
Intel is like that ex-girlfriend that spreads rumors about you behind your back because you dumped them.
Maybe their stonk wouldn’t drop 10 percent after earnings if they made less commercials & better chips.
My response if I was there: Beat Ryzen and Apple Silicon, then we’ll talk.
lol if me i'll probably just say 'i don't care'...
Yeah, you’re right. We can say to Intel: “Don’t complain guy, do your job, create a better chip.”
"See this PS/2 port? Yeah, can't get that on a Mac. Bet you didn't know that."
LOL WHO STILL USES CONNECTORS THAT IS OBSOLETE FROM THE 90S LOL WTF
@@Yessir1506 my brand new Intel z590 board comes with a PS/2 port, still don't know why it has it
@@Cytro some mobos actually have it today so you can re-purpose-your old keyboard :)
@@Yessir1506 yeah I guess it is cool to some
If I be the person in that clip I will ask just one question “Does it has Mac OS?”
I got the impression that these people were saying they would like the presenter to give them free stuff.
Fun fact: That dual screen laptop, Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo's main screen is not a touchscreen.
I have had a touch screen PC and it was a pain......no offense. Everytime you tried to "point" on the screen you would inadvertently click or enlarge where ever you touched. Funny yet frustrating🤣
@@BlazingPhoenix05 I know, I've had a Lenovo Yoga laptop and it was infuriating.
@@berdansargol1577 I had an HP, Asus and an MSI....oh and plenty of Toshibas. Those were frustrating to deal with lol. Lenovo is not any better. And the touch screen I had was on the HP or the ASUS.
It was actually the Zenbook duo, Asus has two lines of dual screen laptops. The gamer oriented ROG Zephyrus Duo and the Creator-Business oriented Zenbook Duo and Pro Duo. You can get the main screen on the Zenbook Duo and the Pro Duo on the upgraded models, not on the base models.
@@BlazingPhoenix05 Well yeah, Windows on a tablet or on any touch-screen in general is not a great idea, it's plain abysmal. It might be useful for Artists, but, other than that, I fail to see any benefits of a touchscreen panel.
I can count on One hand the only time that my mac went off completly, in the 30 years I ve stated to use a Mac. Before I was on Amiga with a Toaster/Flyer combination on an Amiga 4000 Tower. I was told to go to Mac for video editing after Commodore went under and I have never regreted it since. Now I am on M1 mini and I love it.
Also I got a 3 second ad from that video loool
That "wonderful laptop" is more expensive than a mid-range MacBook.....
