Escarpment is that complex bronzy grey I could never find after seeing it in bedrooms on some TV shows. Love the Deep Earth, Red Red Wine and Inchyra Blue. I painted our kitchen cabinets Benjamin Moore Escarpment about 5 years ago, is that the same one? I love it. Really elegant. Goes well with my Scandi color palette.
I love Interface tan. Is it similar to Jotun Soft skin? That's the color I have in almost all rooms. It looks so good all day long, plays well with light and sunlight and can survive a Norwegian winter.
I definitely need to get a might board for Escarpment. I had never heard of this color, so thank you James. Edit: I'm wondering if Cameo White would look good with Escarpment?? I'll have to try it out.
I am currently thinking of trim options for my newly off-white painted living room (PPG1021-1 Mountain Gray), I was leaning towards a dark rich brown but now I am super intrigued by Escarpment!
I would definitely go for the Interface Tan. For the living room. I painted my trim gunmetal gray so long ago. My house is small, built in the 1945, with golden oak floors throughout. And has loads of colonial trim. I painted my trim gunmetal gray so long ago. The living room was originally a bamboo yellow, with some golden brown into and some very light yellow/green . After 18 years, I got bored. I painted the room agreeable beige (Z-z-z-z) with coral reef on an accent wall. It was too much, even with the eastern exposure. It's now Roycraft Rose and I'm bored again.
I thinkk they'd look pretty good as one palette for an entire house. I'd probably cut out the Red, Red Wine (as paint) and Interface Tan; because, I onl have so much space. Floor Deep Earth type stain, Escarpment for walls, Cameo White for ceiling. Inchyra Blue for bathroom. Of course, if I did the thin set shower, I could use Interface Tan fo r the bathroom walls and Inchyra Blue as the ashower color inspiration. with the gray "marble" counter top and some lovely silver hooks and towel rods. I could see it working.
It looks like BM has named the same color differently depending on the collection (Escarpment is in Designer Classics and Willow Creek is in Benjamin Moore Classics) but both have the same code. Ah marketing.
First view of those 6 cans, the names I'd call them are grey/brown, beige, grey, off white, dead and greyed burgundy, greige All good prison colors. Complete lack of life colors. I'm a whole lot less neutral and de-saturated in my color tastes. Go ahead and paint that ceiling magenta... deep turquoise door frames and moldings - woohoo. multi color polkadot wallpaper in the closet, go for it! All the kitchen cabinet and drawers with a different bright color face.. yippie! All with a nice Persian rug and turn of the last century china. for a less intrusive color moment.. ya know those little grooves in door frames.. the tiny edge where the door sets in the frame? Fun day glow color just on that tiny strip and it can only be seen when the door is open.

I think the reddish tans are a big mistake. They all end up looking like cheap base makeup on the wall.

Red Red Wine is by far my favorite of this palette.
That colour Interface Tan looks like it has a little bit of purple in it.

I have used a Burned Earth (Valspar)that was a dark, bronzy brown..used just as accent and is beautiful.

Went to the store today to purchase escarpment, it seems as though it goes under the name willow creek now!

What Benjamin Moore color would be similar to the Inchya Blue?
It’s not a perfect match, but I love Nocturnal Gray as an alternative
