Caltrops are a perfect example of how "obsolete" doesnt really exist in an absolute way, and how a lot of older technology can fall into the "if it isnt broken, there is no need to fix it" category

@@DeusVult1190 Roumors have it that Patton once claimed that if he had to choose one vehicle for combat and the choice was between a bulldozer and a tank, he would choose the bulldozer.
Never underestimate the ability to move dirt. The humble shovel is nothing less than a hero.

Wes I REALLY appreciate that you share the same passion in support of our Uki brothers and sisters over there ... and I love your excellent magazine style video format using cutaways/inserts, to display exactly what you are talking about as imagery examples for the audience... That is my style too I learned in my senior year in cinema/tv production. You tell the story/reality very well. And love the large placard Uki trident chevron on the wall... Keep the great segments coming... I watch each one of them... It means a lot to me and it's important and for the most noble cause... thnx buddy.. Los Angeles, CA

Ukraine should look into a modern road closer, a Semi-truck that has "Jack Knifed" and spilled its "Load" all over the road. One lane of traffic that is just wide enough. Road has really bad shoulders. Concrete debris is really good, other things will do. Other Vehicles will make for more time and work.
Nothing will ruin your plans more than hearing the road is now closed because of an “Accident”.

Then interlock them face to face and you have a pyramid shaped object which settles naturally on the ground with one spike always pointing up. No efforts required.

Not too long ago, Ukrainians were laughing at the Russians for having such prepared defenses which so brutally stopped them in their tracks during the summer counter offensive, yet to this day Ukrainians have fail to take preparation works and secondary lines of defense seriously. If they did so they would not be continuously losing so much ground when a position eventually falls.

👎👎@05:15-06:45 Those vehicles were part of the Russian Souther Invasion Group in early 2022 as by their "Square-Z" designation painted on the side and the tires were flattened by gunfire from AFU Reservists and NG Troops in the Kherson Region. I remember this firefight and all the Ruskie's were killed and 1 was captured wounded laying inside the convenience store shown in the background. Caltrops had 0% to do with your video footage.
