I love the contrast between the little rolla ratty dash and that haltech display. Also, it sounds epic! ...and it looks tricky af to launch. Looks like an on/off switch.
Finally, another nugget video, I think I have aged 2 or 3 years since the last one 😂😂😂, just kidding, keep them coming, good to see you trying a better work/ life balance. I have an interesting motor swap for you, I have an American friend who has put 300hp mercury outboard and turbo motor into their version of a Mitsubishi colt from the 80’s, first time down the track, ran 5,5s 1/8 mile.
One you guys sort out that dead spot on launch, (with maybe a dry slipper clutch some race bikes came out factory with or something, I dunno. ) This little Corolla will be a low 7 seccond ROCKET !!! 🚀👍
I used to build Race Stall Convertors. So a REALLY HIGH STALL converter is possible with a 7" converter with a custom made stator. I've made a few in the past like that actually.
Have a look at Rekluse clutches. Or a boost compensated clutch. They use boost pressure to add clamping force to the clutch plates. More boost, more clamp.
So many familiar roads in this vid, love it, and it all looks so green. You may need to upgrade the clutch to a Barnett heavy duty or similar. I have always wanted to put a Triumph 1050 triple into a Daihatsu Charade Centro, epic reverse doughnuts.
So with a slipper clutch and the tall 1st - you control the slip using hydraulics to keep the engine in power - is it still a wet clutch? If so, does the slipper increase the wear? Awesome build, glad you are ironing out the kinks already.
Hyabusas have a pritty good aftermarket for clutches but on less supported bikes i have got the heaviest center valve spring from dual valve sping bike heads i could find and thrown them in the cluch to fix slippage its not like your loading up the thrust bearings like in a car engine .. food for thaught
@kylereese4822 the rpm isnt realy a issue with these bike engine cruzein on my cbr1000 for example below 4000 rpm the engine is dead starts to pick up a bit from 4000 onward there pritty happy to rev and only realy come alive from 9000 and up
It is possible to fit a Rekluse auto clutch in thos big bike engines even though Rekluse dont make a kit specifically for them. Ive got one in my 04 CBR1000RR out of an 08 KTM 450.
Question- Are you using clutch on gear change overs???, I rode a busa years ago and a drag guy taught me to slip the gears in on it. Back off accelerator a millisecond at right timing and slip into the next higher gear, with no clutch in. It would be a flawless and smooth gear change, do it all gears going up and you would have full power with no drag or power loss on the gear changes. I wonder if it would be the same in this set up or not?? Love this build!!! Great work!!!
@kymcast I was trying both ways, with the dbw throttle it seems like it's to slow to come back if you back off and get on the clutch really quick it hits the limiter. Will keep working on it.
@@NuggetGarage Thank you for responding! great work!!, the other way i got shown is with no back off with accelerator, just slip in at exact right timing. You'll totally work it out! Cant wait to see it :-) 💪💪💪💪💪💪😊
@markjones3699 one day mate. I did 10 years on that car. It is my forever car though so will need to get on it soonish. It will get the engine that was in THINGS
Hey mate love the KE10 the thing is sick.. I have a Turbo Harley and recently installed a Power Comander Quick Shifter on it for Clutchless gear changes, it hooks into the injector and Cuts Fuel while Shifting allows you to shift under full throttle and stay on boost thru the gears.. not sure if relevent in your case but could help.. Will be in touch again soon to tune my Fg ute and set up the transbraked ZF etc Just doing run in kms on the Box .. Is currently making 1100hp on 28psi With a g42, looking at upgrading turbo and chasing 1000kw..

That thing is going to fly once you sort out the bugs.
Hearing it scream down track sound so good .
The little rolla did well and sounds amazing.
Peripheral port 10a in the muzzy! Love the ke10, cool little car
Super cool little car Scotty , Cant wait to see it run again
Always a good day when I find a new episode of NG posted. Add that it starts my weekend even better.
Barra in the Mustang... 💯
Glad keep it. Very different an potential if time money n all that. Thanks scott n crew'
Love this build it’s a great car. Great fun getting to line up next to you Scotty👍👍🐨🐨

Well done mate :)>> massive debut for the little thing put thru the wars straight up !!!!
Hey up lads thanks for another great video there's a lot ov support for big hp busa and car fitment stuff in Europe
I love this country, fuckin' beautiful I gotta get up that way again soon. Cheers fellas.
Best editing EVER , thank you
Awesome effort considering the teething problems, Mustang would be nice with an RB. Great to see you getting some content out. 🤩

Best channel on UA-cam, no bullshit just stuff!

Wow a mustang didn’t expect to see that as a project, awesome!!

My dad was an egineer n bro woulda loved ya wierd ideas. He had alot. Most didnt work but some were the shit. Thanks'
My vw has the shifter that way (forward to shift up), drives me nuts.
Is that a normal thing down under, even in drag cars?
It just worked out that way. It definitely does not feel natural
Just plain cool. Digging ya work bro. I want to see more...
I had a Ford Focus with 1/2 that power and it was pretty fun to drive. I couldn't imagine if it had that much power.
Epic car man, so cool to see it running. Cant wait for the 7K action, bringing back my youth lol.
crazy to see all those cars driving around legally. Meanwhile in Germany it is debatable whether or not polishing your headlights is legal..
Ewwww. Revolt already.
2j the muzzy bro
Super fun build, once u work it out it'll be impressive for what it is.
14:40 😂 It just had to be done. And I guess it's just named itself.

You should check out Liam Dorans huybussa powered mini for some ideas on how to fix the issues you have
I usually just figure shit out as I go but will have a look thanks mate.
🤞 cross, you be first to transfer/ GR 3CY, Engine > stuff
You got the burnouts down to a science pretty quick...
Haha embracing the inner bogan
Cool car, cool event, a bit less yabbering from your camera crew would be decent too. 🙄

1 or 2 over drives would be good for highway driving, the O/Ds doing the work not the engine...

@@NuggetGarageCan you program in an ignition cut between gear shifts?
Rekon if draggin golf carts youd still make somethin mad. An have the minerals to drive it. Much respect.
Mustang = 393 stroker Th400 !!! What's happened to the OG 0KE-020??? Luv to see any updates.
@markjones3699 one day mate. I did 10 years on that car. It is my forever car though so will need to get on it soonish. It will get the engine that was in THINGS
Well, this could be far more exciting than the cricket (thanks, India )🏏
Let’s get a little Nuggets up and running 👌

DYNO JET QUICK SHIFTER
sorry
Wow! That's wicked!
Mustang is sick
lol the throttle roll on is sick
You weren't running normal emgine oil were you? Definitely need the bike oil for wet clutches.
What, cooking oil with sand in it😂
@jameswolski7743 yeah haha just Penrite 15w 40
@NuggetGarage Wet bike clutches will most definitely slip with car oil, they don't like the friction modifier additives.
What’s the go with the clutchless shifting? Genuine question!
It sounds really mean!
This is wicked
Good old “ G Spot “ did a pretty decent job for a shakedown event, fast times to come once it’s sorted 🌶🌶
Probably a good idea to install a lockup clutch
Builds contraption and immediately takes it racing AND all over on rural roads 😮
and the rolla is epic
Shit yeah go the Busa!!!
I’m like, I know this music.
It’s BAD Obsession Motorsports.
As a non-Aussie, it's not evident. Where can I find that air freshner?
Need to invest in some external mics Scott!
@isuzu_bryan ok I have them already but all these videos are half arses really, need to make more effort
Pretty cool
It's Soo smooth
undercut the dogs and chuck in a new selector fork. suzuki are usually decent for spares availability.
Yeah righto Tex.
20B Mustang?
Don't make me come up there. If you put a LS in that Mustang, I will. Cheers.
8th or quarter, I can’t tell?
Gotta be 8th
What about a transaxle then you could just lock up the whole busa gearbox
Great fun guys however ffs put the big fella’s mic near his mouth or put a hand held in his face we here almost nothing of him
JA
Bikes, 1/4 of the weight of the corolla, Slip the clutch or 😢
how did you get a roady for that thing haha
Barra + Mustang = f*ck yeah👍🍻
would be neat if it could keep the 6 speed box too to keep it a nice cruiser.
27:40 understatement. Also not been seeing much of the builds lately, just finished product. The mustang is nice, but not a Barra, that's overdone.
@Low760 work life balance mate. Trying my best. No way it will be a barra
Yewww
I thought Scott stopped smoking 😢
Yeah I did, that wasn't me
I'M ON SMOKO. SO LEAVE ME ALONE.
🤙
Noice
740 in the 8th? That thing should be a rocket.. is why drag n drives in new builds is not what you really wanna do in my opinion… always issues..
that lil pile of junk sounds really good for some reason!!
Loose the mouth behind the camera FFS bring back Chris
Everybody out in public hearing a powerfull motorbike engine but not knowing where the fuck it is 🤷♂️
Rekon the car wants to pull in bikers cafes n hang with his mates'
turbo 7k please
best content, real mofo
Proud to be a Queenslander!
Bloody Banana benders. Lmao 🤣
Is it Chris’s son doing the filming, if so he’s a chip off the old block . Loved the commentary
Don't LS the Mustang!
@lingdinh4510 oh its way worse
@@NuggetGarageHa ha diesel is it then
@@johngibson3837 worse still
