    In this video I show how to use one of the programed stock embroidery designs. The one I have select is Halloween themed. It is what I call the Spooky Halloween House. This is a very easy project that is specific to owners of embroidery machines that come pre-loaded with the design, namely the Brother SE400 and possibly a few other Brother embroidery machine models.

    Yes I liked it! Very helpful. I've been messing up so much stuff. Wasting so much material. I've decided I'm going to spend the next few hours re watching your tutorial and practicing on all the materials I've ruined. I have never in life sold on a machine before. Three weeks ago I purchased the Brother se625 Embroidery and sewing combo. I jumped on there thinking I was about to do big things! Well after a couple broken needles. Hours being stuck because I can't figure out how something works. Or why something won't work. Then I couldn't even sew in a straight line. Once I figured out how to sew in a straight line. I think let's try this embroidery thing. I literally bought stuff to create sell. I cannot tell you how much money I wasted in the past couple of weeks. Or how many tears I've cried. I thought I'd have my designs on the internet and selling them by now. I finally broke down and read the manual. And will continue to watch videos like yours. I would like to thank you for your time and your service to not only and I UA-cam but to the world!
    by the way I'm working on embroidering a butterfly on a shirt that has multiple colors. I'm well in Search Of The right to show How To Change the colors. That's how I found you after one almost 2 hrs of searching. So again thanks.

    Thanks for the information! I suspected the other Brother embroidery machine models had some of the same designs. Thanks for confirming. Check out the video I did with a friend of mine who repairs sewing machines. He talks about the problem you are having. It is related to tension. I will put a link in this videos description. Thank you watching and posting!

    I have the Innovis 900D and I think it comes with all the same designs built in, so it was nice to see what one looked like stitched out! I just bought the machine, used, so I don't have any original documentation that shows what the designs look like in real life if there was any documentation like that. I enjoy your tutorials! Subscribed and I hope to look forward to more!...Off to figure out how to fix my machine now (the thread bunches up really bad under my projects all of a sudden) eeks!

    each time you change colors do you need to change bobins too?

    • @smoovlatino
      @smoovlatino 6 років тому +1

      I am curious as well... are you changing bobbins? If not, what color are you using?

    How about if something happens and it gets stuck. How do you redo the frame if it does not embroidered it

    I would have liked to see or hear about having to switch colors of thread for the different areas that are a different color. As, I am not sure how that would work and how threading the needle would be.

    I've just had my machine for a short time. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to do a design that has 4 sections. It will stitch the 1st section, but I can't get it to stitch the other 3. What am I doing wrong. It will not even let me click on the other sections, The only way I can see them is if I'm doing a color check.

    I think I already know the answer - but do you have to change the bobbin color each time you change the top stitch color? Thanks for your helpful videos!

      If the project is particular I would. But for this one I just used white. If the tension is correct you should not see the white too much.

    can you make the seeding bigger than 4"x4" using bigger hoops? i understand the machine doesn't read the bigger hoops, how can i make design bigger then 4"x4"?

    • @youthamplifiedskin
      @youthamplifiedskin 4 роки тому

      it only does the 4x4. What I do is measure the distance the needle travels to the center to begin the design (for me its just under an inch 0.9), so I'll do the first 4x4 section and then move the fabric in the hoop so that the end of the first section is 0.9" from the center where the needle will begin again. I'm very careful to painter's tape off straight lines around where my design will lie in order to keep it from getting crooked from so much movement. Other than doing something like that, there's no way to do larger than 4x4; which is super annoying because I bought this particular machine due to the ad info stating that it could use larger hoops and that a larger hoop would be included in the package- lies. I'm not brother's biggest fan...

    How did you switch colors through the embroidery?

    • @spazzmomma
      @spazzmomma 5 років тому

      The machine will stop when the color should be changed. You thread it up as you normally would and then hit the button to restart the machine.
