I put a Ski on my E-Bike for Ice Fishing

In this video I convert my Zebra Himiway Electric Mountain Bike into a Ski-Snow-E-Bike using an old Skidoo Snowmobile Ski. This was a fun, cheap, and easy DIY, no-weld project that I believe anyone could tackle. Is it better than a front tire? I'll let you decide that one...

Good video and very inventive, many many years ago they had at the sportsman show , a similar device called the sky whiz, and it was the same idea but had a small track and motor.

It's actually incredibly sturdy, the ski has dual carbides. I think more snow would be better. Thanks for watching!

Great idea! How much will the cold temperature affect the battery?

I think as long as you go out with a fully charged battery it should be fine. Don't let it get too low. I've had it out for 5 days in the winter last year without a problem!

the ski looks wide enough maybe you could strap the ski right to the tire and make switching back and forth faster?
