Subscribed. Appreciate your content. As a former roadie who swore he'd never race a bike again, I got a gravel race bike a while back (Cervelo R5cx) and it's reignited my love of cycling, and videos like this are what got me interested in gravel.
I always appreciate your video, Joe. Good job to Kendra and one heck of an effort, Joe. Some days just aren't our days. Way to press on and finish. Take care, you two.
Awesome job finishing it out! A lot of us know what it’s like to be doing so well and then have it all crumble down. That’s part of what makes endurance racing hard and it keeps us coming back. I think there was a reasonable argument for stopping after the crack, but at major events like this there is a huge amount of respect for finishing it out. We see you! It really pushes us mentally and that’s half the game. Thanks for putting out content like this. It’s a very real view of the scene and I find it very inspiring!
Gravel is such a crazy sport; rotating in pacelines while in aero bars, drafting the video car when attacking, riding in the on-coming lane up blind climbs and turns, blowing stop signs and racing on roads that don't have a rolling blockade is such an insane world.
watched drew dillmans video. he said the peloton was disfunctional because of someone actually getting hit by a car. forget who it was, but it his is front wheel barely. inches away from death. also it being a nonteam race doesn't help with a big peloton. this video is class tho, so much info (turns out it was ben oliver who got hit, drew explains it at 7:50 in his video)
@@azaryahcaldwell4462 yeah that was part of it on top of missing a turn. If you check out the live stream, the riders had the right away with no stop sign and the pickups blew the stop sign. While there are more safety measures that need to be taken for gravel, that was crazy bad luck to have reckless drivers crossing paths with the peloton!
I can't believe Lincoln finally has something cool besides football. So great to see so many visitors from so many places. Question: I see a lot of riders that forget to start their tele. Is there something wrong with autostart/pause?
If you start your ride on the start line while you’re sitting still, the autopause won’t kick in. Could start it right away and then just go and cut that chunk out I supposed though. I had the map loaded and it was following the map too so that’s one extra thing that made it seem like it was going

Thank you so much for being here! Cant' wait to have you and your wife back to crush the Team Double next year. :) 50k run this time though!!
Thanks again for having us! Kendra’s already got her eye on that 50k!
Amazing production value in the video
thanks for the great videos!

Great effort man…. The guys over at Bonk Bros, teared into this event 😳, especially DJ.
Thank you! I’ll have to give that episode a listen.
Tore into it good? Or bad?
Now you’re just making shit up. He said they should change the name as it’s confusing. That’s all.
@@andrew9579 But I like my name!
I could totally do this, just give me 15 hours 40 minutes and 12 seconds.
Great job pushing through the adversity!

Anything that keeps roadie's from riding mtb is good I guess.
