A lot of the comments about the guys mannerisms is a bit sad. I think we forget there are a lot of cultural differences between Americans and Europeans. Americans (like myself) often feel the need to smile and laugh to seem attractive/likable while Europeans are a little more chill/serious. Don’t know if that makes sense! But be a little easier on this guy! Happy for you Rose!

Thank you both for being open and sharing this. I have a close friend who has a great income but is down to earth and humble and her income tends to be an issue with the men she dates as she usually makes more. Best of luck in your relationship! 💜

It's sad but common, even when I outearn my husband we have to really work through how it affects him mentally as he was raised with the "a man takes care of his family financially no matter what" mindset. When I grew up with a "everyone contributes in whatever way they are able " kind of thing. It's not anyone's fault, it just needs to be addressed and hopefully/ideally resolved so it doesn't fester into resentment and show up as sabatoge for both our marriage and my business etc. It can become really triggering to men as past generations are soooo ingrained into our beleif systems and while we can change them, each and everyone of us has to be aware of it, want to address it, and actually work on change. And that sadly just isn't going to be everyone, atleast not at once or even in a generation I don't think but I do hope your friend finds a man that is either self aware and mature enough to appreciate her and continue in his own ways that are also beneficial equally to the relationship. No one should be alone just because they make money, that's quite sad. And a little crazy that it's far more common for a woman than a man but I have to hope that videos like this one with rose and through others sharing their knowledge and experiences etc that eventually this won't be such a large issue and a wide gap between genders. Especially after women worked so hard for financial independence and equality, to be not equal in marriages and the opportunity for happy healthy ones after that is a little depressing honestly. Ok gonna stop procrastinating by commenting on youtube videos, or I hope hahahaahah sending so much love!

Speaking from experience, having always earned more than my partners, I've learned that the only way this type of relationship with huge revenue gaps can work, is if the man feels comfortable in his skin & does not feel inferior to his woman being more successful in her career. I find for women, in my case anyway & as I see Rose as well here, we don't mind the pay gap, as long as we are treated with love & respect.

Great video! It's not fun talking about money especially if the other person has more, but it's good that you guys are honest to each other and open to talk about it at an early stage of your relationship. That will definitely makes you relationship stronger. Many marriages ended in divorce because of money, and probably because while they were dating they never planned financially, they only realized after marriage that their financial goals are actually different from each other or non-existent.

The comments of him being awkward in front of the camera, I feel are unfair. Don’t know how often he’s in front of the camera speaking to an audience, but most people inexperienced to being in front of the camera are not naturals. Rose is an intelligent grown a*s woman. Maybe he’ll become a pro in front of the camera for everyone’s viewing pleasure, but maybe he won’t, and that’s okay. Much luck to you both in your relationship.

Also, Rose’s masculine energy is dominant and her bf’s feminine energy is dominant. Not word for word but they basically said it with the traits they described. Which is fine. If it works for them, it works for them. Different strokes for different folks. It would only be a problem if they expected something different down the line.

Lovely couple! I think you really balance each other out very well 🙂Sad, how some people in the commend section don't get that, because they are focused on material things to such an unhealthy amount that they are blind for the even more important immaterial things. I like when the guy pays on the first date, but I then usually pay on the second. And I definitly pay for myself if I don't like a guy.

Sweet! Solid! your Boyfriend summed it up perfectly. There are no rules and there are no rules to follow. It's not often you see women date or marry a men that makes less money than them. Most men don't care about a prenup, because for the most part money and richness is not what we look for in women. Some women have such crazy standards that they end up single until the end.

Ageeed!!!! Idk why soo many negative people already crawling this video but I'm trying soooo hard to not get into it with all of them but afh. It's like hello. She has a money education channel, this was a wonderful video and very cool of her bf to join in and for them to be so open about things that make most too uncomfortable to even talk to eschother about more or less share and help others. So it makes me so sad to see these idiots talking crap when this is the perfect example of what society needs to get used to being ok with both talking about and hearing as a nornal conversation in general. Money needs to stop being taboo. It's sad too because I'm sure he's just less comfortable on camera as she is but he still did it and they're adorable and helpful and if people don't want to just appreciate it, then ok, don't watch, but if they do and have some type of problem with anything in this video they need to realize it's a problem of their own, not Rose and her boyfriends, at all. Self awareness is lacking in so many still, and money should be a lot more comfortable to talk about otherwise it's no wonder money is such an issue and cause for divorce as well as all of the patriarchal nonsense and gender inequality etc we've been trying to rise out of forever now, but we can't sit comfortable with a couple talking about money like this? That's a big "Hey, take a look inside yourself " red flag for me, if it made me uncomfortable, that's a me problem. I just wish more people would get that or if they won't just don't bother watching a dang video. Sorry rant over just been so fed up seeing some comments these days. Really feels like the world's gotten more and more miserable as a whole because of sooo many negative comments/haters on sooo many channels I watch regularly popping up. :(

Despite living together in the same household and not officially married, together will fall in the Common-Law after a year (or two). If for some reason you two spilt up, basically the spilt will be like being married. In Canada, it’s one year of living in the same household for Common-Law status.

Yeah, I don’t feel that a joint account is a good idea no matter what. I’ve seen and heard from people that went through divorces and before, and even from my own my mom. I would never do a joint account. Also, in my own experience and a few of my female friends’ experiences, after having been with someone who has less money than I do for almost 15 years now, it is not as fun as when I was with someone that had more money than I do, as we would be able to go on trips and have fun. Because, in the end, you’ll always end up having to pay for most things, even when going out, I have to pay my part and sometimes half of our child’s food. If I want to go on a trip, he won’t want to go because it is too expensive, unless I pay for him, of course. So, you end up feeling used. First year in a relationship is always going to be nice. But, after a few years is when things are put to the test. But, I wish you luck in your relationship. I love your videos!

Glad you've bounced back to your confident old self, for a while watching your content felt like a chore when you were going through your divorce, you had stopped talking about personal finance & i had unsubscribed, but I'm glad we can resume regular programming.

The truth is, most guys don't really care about how much money a woman has. What we're more interested in is how she looks and if she's fun to be around. Even if a girl has a ton of money, if she's not a great person to hang out with, most guys would probably be out. Rose, is Attractive and seems like a fun person to be with. Most guys would likely want to be with her even if she didn't have any money and lived in her car. Women on the other hand,.... well lets just say Rose is a rare find.

I don’t think it matters if there’s a slight income/wealth gap between two but a large one I think just makes you financially incompatible. You might not want to see it but it will make a difference. Rose is a millionaire and no doubt earns at least 250k per year. If this guy earns 50k for example and same net worth (50k), it just wouldn’t make sense. Too big to ignore. It has implications because what Rose can afford, he might not be able to. And if she pays all the time, it will have an impact on him and could create a power imbalance. It already seems like Rose makes most of the financial decisions and that’s a little concerning 😭🥴

So if he was the one that was making more money, would that still be the case and you would get a prenuptial agreement?

Hey it’s best to invest in *Wild Vest Corps Page* monthly or weekly? I'm thinking the fees will be higher if done weekly.

Rule of thumb, if you invite the girl on the first date you pay. The inviter should pay, the invitee isn’t obligated to pay, but if they want to pay that’s fine.

Lmao yeah but we are expected to be the one to invite get real. I hate when people say that dumb shit. Whoever invites pays lmao women NEVER approach. They make us do all the work. Always.

Is it just me or does this seem kind of awkward? I’m sure they’re good off-camera, but their on-camera chemistry seems unnatural and weird. I’m glad she’s happy though!

He's probably a bit uncomfortable and just not used to being on camera especially talking about what's not typical for "men" in society in history. But I think he is hilarious and they're adorbs just likely a little nervous. :)

@@rochester3 I get what you’re saying lol. I’m just observing what I saw. I didn’t mean any disrespect by it, but you know some couples are just natural on and off screen. They just seem to be the type that have to get used to it.
