It is a monstrosity. I was on vacation in New Jersey, USA, in May and on a leisurely drive close to Hasbrouck Heights I noticed about 60 or 70 brand new unregistered Teslas parked up in public car park. About 30 of them were Cybertrucks. I drove into the car park to examine them close up. I spent about 30 minutes checking them out from all angles. Obviously, they were locked, so I could not sit in one of them. I understand the Cybertruck is priced at $115,000. - An awful waste of money. I believe it will be a white elephant. !

I saw one in the US recently. In my opinion it is the ugliest contraption that has ever taken to the road.
I drove one of these ‘cars’ in the US and I’ll admit, it’s a nice drive once you get used to it. It feels more like a spaceship than a car and it most certainly is not worth the hassle, price or looks you’re going to get!
Was nice to meet you in the showroom! Thought it was a bit much that the public couldn’t get inside (just need a lad with a shammy behind to wipe the fingerprints). Some tech under the bonnet. The looks are arguably the sideshow!

This can’t ever be homologated for pedestrian safety to drive in Europe - its just a showroom-only model, touring around to try to entice a few model 3 or Y sales

Do you think that it is one of the great advertising stunts of modern times ? I cant remember a car generating so much publicity. Even from the beginning with the infamous window break? Ever since its first unveiling Tesla have skyrocketed in popularity. A lot of the tech from the Cybertruck has filtered down to the other models for example the updated infotainment UI was recently rolled out to other models. I personally think like you said its hideous (in a cool way 😂) but genius.
The window break was rehearsed....for publicity no doubt.

Its an horrific abomination of over excess and makes no sense, even in the US
But then Trucks make no sense in the US....unless it's a testosterone outlet valve.

i spotted one of them a few weeks back while is the states has to be the ugliest thing on the roads but did not look totally out of place on the huge roads they have.
It has some amazing engineering innovations inside but it’s just too big for the European market.
I personally dont like it . Be handy for a new Viking Splash !

Thank God for sensible safety regulations in the vast majority of the developed world.
DeLorean was quite able to form car panels from stainless steel in the early 80''s but thanks to ole Elon's pig headedness about the steel grade to be used this thing has wound up stuck at the end of its own design cul-de-sac.
This thing is a technical feat, but I'm soooo glad it's not road legal in Europe.
Yeah I just think from a 'they actually made it' sense, it's interesting.

I love the Cybertruck, I love that Tesla brings a new vehicle design and has the guts to do it. I also love that some people don’t like it, and understand, there are several ver popular vehicles that I think are miles worse looking than the Cybertruck. If I could afford one ,I would wrap it in black , and drive it with a smirk 😏on my face , for those that don’t like it.

Its interesting of course, but i don't find it aspirational in any way...unless you lacked testosterone.
I'd like to see one painted in that non-stick stone-speckled stuff they put on fry-pans, in the sun it would cook your eggs and slice your bacon.
Have your first aid kit ready when working against the clock at the drive in car wash and vac.

Just electric cars in general hear to many horror stories with depreciation model Y is the perfect car but just can't make that jump to electric 😅
