Thank you so much! This tutorial has super cool ideas! I've used custom hair textures before, but I always found it very difficult to create what I want. The sweet spot dot was so helpful. I didn't really understand textures enough when I tried, so it never looked right, but sketching it out in vroid before using an art program has been so helpful. Keep in mind accessories like tails can also be created with the hair tool, but they will follow the movement of the head. This can be edited in blender, but I'm not really sure how. 😔Alas, vroid only tails are still a mystery to me.
Thank youuuuuuu omg I can make so many accessories with this knowledge, My character as a lot of stars in her hair because it's galaxy hair and I wanted some of them to pop out and be more 3d so this is really cool!
awesome work, good to know you can do stuff like this in the program, i wouldnt have thought to try that. My character looks very 'default' which i dont mind, but it'll be awesome to add stuff for fun. thanks for this :)
but when i do it, the accesories are creating as the same color as hair , how can ı fix this. When ı try to change it , hair color changes too. Sorry im noob at vroid
Hair tool and shape it making it like a beret hat also make sure the inside is empty and go to unity to make the bones not yknow hair physics or go to to blender and add a beret
you just dont add bones to them. hair, unless given bones, will move along with the head. if you want something to stay stationary to the body, you would need to seperate the bones in another program like unity or blender
@@buwakuda Hi! I'm having this exact issue, even after watching a ton of videos on unityvrm and unity. Do you have any videos on it, or recommendations?
It should highlight the texture on the side where you'd see the little colored blocks. The highlighted one should be the texture you're changing, not the entire thing. It's usually the very last texture (if you've made many)
:I-its all hair?
:Always has been.
If you have a tablet that supports VRoid, I highly recommend it! It's really nice to be able to draw like you do on paper with these sort of things.
Your vroid models are amazing! They look so 2D!
This is so cool, I'm gonna use this to try to build my halo out of "hair"

If you don't give the item bones, it will move with the head

How do I make it so it does not draw on every hair texture? such as vroid will just draw over every strand of hair instead
You need to make a seperate texture on the texture lists on your right hand side!
@@buwakuda thank you!
Why is it when I go to colour mine it effects all of the hair?
You have to make a new material on the right hand side
i cant understand how to change the color of the accesories without making all the hair change his color :((((

How u do to keep the hair under it ? sorry im noob with Vroid just start it ( when i select front hair custom remove all my front hair)
It seems you have 2 layers, you draw on the layer thats above the hair and put it onto the hair using the mesh
:O
