I think the app does have all that you need to work with! It's a matter of getting used to the program, but it seems that if you were to start with this it'd still be able to do pretty much everything you want it to do!
As a fellow Android and PC user for drawing, I've been always on the lookout for Procreate and/or similar apps to Procreate. I've been working with Photoshop for well over 13 years now and the only best solution I found was to connect my tablet to my PC and use it as a drawing tablet(which works wonderfully even with wi-fi connection, rather than USB connection). But that sadly, limits me to draw at home alone, no portability. I'm 1000000% giving this a go!

The trial version allows you to use it for an hour or two(if they haven't changed anything in these past few years), but the program is super cheap(even in my country which has insane inflation is cheap). I downloaded the app on my tablet and the driver on my PC. Since I don't use the cable connection, the wi-fi connection is pretty simple, you match the IPs on your tablet and the application on your PC and it connects as like another monitor which you can also draw on! You do need to adjust some settings on the Windows side of things, but overall, this is probably the best program I've used for this type of connection!
@sixqchi927 there are designated tablet that comes with a pen, like the samsung galaxy tab s series and some lenovo tablets. But you can also buy a stylus pen for your tablet to draw on.

I've been using it since 2015 back then it's full of bugs but now it's stable. My Only Problem with iBis paint is the UI, it's like that since 2015. They need to adapt and take advantage of modern UI and more advance gestures.
@@fungzau 1-2 years ago, was originally made by Huion as an almost 1 to 1 copy of the layout to procreate, was taken down because of that, and the whole ui, despite still being similar, has been revamped to be similar yet not too close to procreate either. its now running on a different developer, and huion slate android tablets come with it preinstalled.
@@siddhisalvi1628 yes its good tho you may have a bit of trouble finding custom brushes (people dont seem to use this app much or smth), and seems to also have adapted the ibis style in terms of unlock all features you can either pay to have all the features, or watch a 20sec ad then the next 4-8 hours you get all the features for free. in terms of animation, i havent tried it much but id say its moderate, not super professional level, but clearly good enough to make animations. advantage of hipaint is the features and placement of them being so similar to procreate, meaning you can pretty much follow procreate tutorials and apply them on hipaint. thats how close they are.

I love hipaint, as well as infinite painter (another "clone" of procreate, 5$ one time pay) my issues with hipaint is that on my tab s7 hipaint starts lagging and bugging when using over 20 layers somehow as for anything like ibis, infinite painter, even clip studio, dosnt have any issues

Infinite painter is more stable and way more frequently updated than hipaint. but hipaint has better performance on lower end devices, and an ui almost 1 to 1 replica to procreate infinite has nicer brushes and way more costumisation for them. but hipaint lets you animate. infinite is a one time payment to unlock everything hipaint is watch one ad to unlock everything for a few hours. hipaint is easier to use overall but infinite feels more professional and the features are way more refined. list goes on
I didn't know good artists use ibispaint.. im so glad. I was under the impression that the second i had access to krita or anything of the sort, i have to learn it to be a good artist. I like ibis paint! It's so nice and so easily understandable!!! I'm a traditional artist, and ibis paint is as close to traditional as digital art goes. Obviously it's good to learn new things and whatnot, but i just don't think im ready to struggle over krita yet
The app is really fun and pretty comfortable to use, I was able to adjust rather fast as an ibis and medibang(pc) user. I think one flaw I can point out is it's rather cramped on phone, and because of that it makes finding certain tools a bit more difficult, but I figure procreate has a similar problem on phones, too (I've never used it so I'm just assuming lol). I hope HiPaint is able to expand to PC devices soon, if not I'll probably try it out with an emulator.
I’m not sure if anyone has commented this but, the “magnetic” feel to brushes for procreate is because of stabilization if I remember correctly. So you can either turn it off in the brush’s settings and/or the general settings.
hipaint is so satisfying, i was trying out my new tablet and it comes out that in ibis paint it didn't work properly then i just found out that app, i didn't really understand how it worked so i just decided to give up.. now I'll surely use your video for guide💆♂️

I've tried to be on the lookout for any procreate substitute, as I was gifted a samsung tablet (so, android) and I couldn't find any that I liked, I just installed hipaint to check out and it looks PERFECT for what I need! thank you so so much for this!
Natural satur I think its vibrance 😂 Bloom is soften the lineart/pixel and add lights to surrounding to make it looks more appealing and hi-res to the eye
Bloom is generally used in games to give that soft glow to certain areas/colors. You probably had it on too strong/ your drawing might be too light overall but what i'd expect it to do is take the light colors and give them a soft glow on the outside. Try puttin all the sliders to 0 and then slowly increasing them. If it doesn't do that then I'm not sure.
procreate does have the left hand mode, I forgor where you find that tho, maybe preferences. Fountain pen brush looks so good :0 I’m realizing ibis paint has lot more features than procreate in some cases :0 interface doesn’t feel as good for me, but I love how many brushes & typefaces there are. Also HiPaint’s color filter thingies are so good :0
I've decided to try it out and it's really good! I'm only having trouble bc i can't set the shortcuts properly to my drawing tablet bc i can only find settings for Bluetooth connected devices, and mine does not connect via Bluetooth (how am i going to draw without the undo button on my pen 😭😭😭)
Lowkey was trynna gatekeep this app because didn't want it to get removed in the app store for being 'too similar to procreate' and get a lawsuit from them or sumthn lmao. but anyways its fun and I just hope they dont make certain features behind a pay-wall in the future
Istg, if this is about Hipaint, I'll cry. It's very buggy (tried it out, and within the first few minutes my canvas started bugging out and deleted my work).
Doesnt bloom just make the image more bright? I only see it in games like genshin and wuthering waves where if you toggle it off everything looks like a sad vegetable

did they fix the issue where it would always save a timelapse of the pictures even if you didn't choose the options and bloat the hell out of your device?

HiPaint kinda sucks, Infinite painter is better imho The closest one to Procreate by far is GoPaint develop by Huawei, sadly only available in their latest mate pad...
I really like this app but it annoys me how difficult it is to find custom brushes for it. The community for it is not very big and active like with ibis paint, so if I want a brush I see somewhere I need to recreate it in the app

HiPaint has a stabilizer! You can select it in the pen's option or the general option ! (On my phone it's like that)

There is a pen stabilizer. If you go to the three dots there should be: correction
