Wow, four years already??????. Where does time go. That's one of the coolest engines you guys have built... Maybe aside from the ten-year radial engine, when that's done. Alright, enough of this.
Form, function, creativity, craftsmanship, skill, talent and cosmetics make it a one-of-a-kind. Your crew has a right to be VERY proud of that project and I am sure it gets lots of attention at the shows. It could be an award winner.
if I hadn't seen these videos and knew nothing about briggs I would've walked past this engine assuming it was a 100% stock antique that was restored. I watched the whole series and im still surprised at how awesome this engine is 4 years later! its my 2nd favorite of your projects :) (the hit & miss briggs is my favorite)
its so rare you rev it up even a little.. love to hear it. Maybe you could do video of just that engine running, experiment with idle spped, and rev it a little.. just to hear it.. love it
Wow, that's awesome! I originally found you from a random UA-cam search, and saw the glass-head Briggs, and have been hooked ever since. Man, that container for the points is a keeper!
I'm looking forward to the pinckneyville Illinois annual thrreshermans show in mid August. Always some super cool stuff there. You'd fit right in roadking!
I found your videos for the 4 cylnder build a couple of years ago and I subbed as soon as I finished watching the first one. Keep up the great work RoadKing :-)
I just made the same comment without reading this or any orther comments. At that time there were quite a few different manufactures. ACE and Cleveland I believe were the predecessors to Henderson, then going on to the Indian 4. My faves actually.
RoadKing you old dog!!!! Bringing out the 4 cylinder Briggs, pure CLICK BATE!!! What a fantastic sounding engine and I loved the build project at the time. Now with the passing of time is there anything you would have done differently with the 4 cylinder?!
I didn’t see the build , but did they throw an oil pump in it somehow? Low idling is ok for a few moments for effect but it doesn’t throw enough lube around, I wouldn’t wanna see them hurt it.
reminds me of my favorite type of motorcycles, the in-line 4's from ACE, Henderson, Cleveland, and Indian. How much money did you put into making the result?
roger oconnor not really lol. It’s huge and made up of 4 Briggs and Stratton 5s’ I think each one only making like 1.1hp. Your looking at really just 4 to 5 hp from this creation
Glad to hear her runnin' :) Have you guys submitted this video to anyone at Briggs & Stratton? I'm sure they'd like to have you demonstrate at a couple functions.
Hey Guy love the channel, just a thought seems the radial has fallen off the charts. Build a V2 or V4 Briggs, that would be great and cant find one out there. What the thinking on this?? cheers..
How’s the summer going buddy ? Going to get the boys on the mini bikes ? Here’s your heads up like every year . I’m heading off to Rollag again this year ,,am I keeping a spot for you ?
Wow dude, the sound of this engine is so unique.
It sounds like a old 4 cylinder, but also a briggs at the same time.
Its very satisfying.
I really like this engine. If this was a car engine it would be so easy to work on. Kinda sounds like an old Jeep.
Wow, four years already??????. Where does time go. That's one of the coolest engines you guys have built... Maybe aside from the ten-year radial engine, when that's done. Alright, enough of this.
yourbeekeeper shhh! We aren't supposed to mention that one.
yea i forgot these guys were around what ever happened to the radial?
VK7001.P he talked about it a few videos ago...It's a build that gets worked on mainly during Winter months and may literally be a ten year project.
Form, function, creativity, craftsmanship, skill, talent and cosmetics make it a one-of-a-kind. Your crew has a right to be VERY proud of that project and I am sure it gets lots of attention at the shows. It could be an award winner.
Thanks alot Bud!!☺
It still runs better than new! This is still one of the best builds you guys did. Thanks for the update, Roadking and you guys enjoy the show.
Thanks Aaron!!☺
It still looks awesome. That thing is so cool, one of the best for sure.
Thanks alot Buddy!!☺
if I hadn't seen these videos and knew nothing about briggs I would've walked past this engine assuming it was a 100% stock antique that was restored. I watched the whole series and im still surprised at how awesome this engine is 4 years later! its my 2nd favorite of your projects :) (the hit & miss briggs is my favorite)
Thanks alot Sam!!☺
This is one of my favorite engines on the entire internet.
For me, this is the finest 4-cylinder briggs engine handmade there is!
Thanks Bud!!☺
Love the sound of that engine !!!! The old plugs are Cool looking
its so rare you rev it up even a little.. love to hear it. Maybe you could do video of just that engine running, experiment with idle spped, and rev it a little.. just to hear it.. love it
This is probably my favourite of your builds, mate
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite also!!☺
I still say, That engine is a " Work of Art " . Your channel Icon to me.
Thanks Bud!!☺
Still amazed by this build, you did it right !!
Thanks Bud!!☺
I can't believe you guys built that, crazy. I can't wait to see what becomes of that old generator.
these guys are automotive geniuses. I wish that I could build something like that!
I can't believe it's been 4 years already. Hope you had some fun at your show Buddy.
Yeah Buddy!! Time flys!!☺
I missed this one. Frankly one of your best, even after the radial is done.
Got to see this engine @ at Coolspring !!!
These guys are amazing & nice to talk too.
Thanks alot Bud!! Glad you stopped by, maybe we'll see ya next year!!☺
Wow, that's awesome! I originally found you from a random UA-cam search, and saw the glass-head Briggs, and have been hooked ever since. Man, that container for the points is a keeper!
That's something eh, the container probably cost more to make than the points!!☺
I gotta say, I think the four-cylinder briggs is my favorite build of yours.
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite also!!☺
I love the sound. Not your average Briggs.
*Love the sound of her!!!*
4 years already?? Time flys!!!
Four years, and this is the reason i found this channel :) Keep up the good work buddy!
Thanks Bud!!☺
Man you gotta love that little engine. It just purrs.
Yeah Buddy!! ☺
This is just the coolest engine. It doesn't get old thanks for showing
Thanks Bud!!☺
everytime i see this engine i think it would be amazing to see it on a cycle car
Great job getting it tuned and ready for the show.
Thanks Lloyd!!☺
What a machine! Love that thing. "Sounds like it's only runnin' on four cylinders" LOL!
Love this thing. This is what made me subscribe can’t believe it’s been four years
That plug looks like an E3!!! The engine started like a dream Good work. My favourite. Enif o dis.
Thanks Mate!!☺
Beautiful job guys! It looks like it was built as a four cylinder engine!
Thanks Bud!!☺
this is my favorite build by far... incredible build.. alot of talent went into this..
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite also!!☺
That's interesting, love the ingenuity of a Briggs i4.
I'm looking forward to the pinckneyville Illinois annual thrreshermans show in mid August. Always some super cool stuff there. You'd fit right in roadking!
It is definitely the most outstanding build so far.
Thanks Mate!!☺
I found your videos for the 4 cylnder build a couple of years ago and I subbed as soon as I finished watching the first one. Keep up the great work RoadKing :-)
Thanks alot Mr Shin!!☺
Glad to see Daddy Dirt Bike is back in the supervisory position again.
He keeps us in line!!☺
Wow, it sounds so much better then a single cylinder engine.
favorite engine out of all of them still... so far.
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite also!!☺
This is the engine build I seen and made me a fan my son loves it too.
That's cool!! Thanks Boot!!☺
cant believe its been 4 years already wow thumbs up and shared
Yeah Buddy!! Time flys!!☺
Yeah the same with the time. I can't believe it's been 4 years. Great engine and video.
Thanks Bud!!☺
havent watched your vids in a while and i feel bad, but im back now! good to see the 4 cylinder engine out!!
No worries Mate!! It's all good!!☺
Reminds me of the 4 cyl engine on the old bikes of the 20's & 30's . Still a cool Creation to watch run :)
Was thinking the same thing, just like a 4 cylinder Henderson.
That's it , Henderson . I couldn't remember the name, but Mike & Roadking got this one real close :) !!
I just made the same comment without reading this or any orther comments.
At that time there were quite a few different manufactures. ACE and Cleveland I believe were the predecessors to Henderson, then going on to the Indian 4.
My faves actually.
Still cool after all these years!
Thanks Bud!!☺
Sounds great! amazing project im glad you completed this it inspires me
Thanks for the Video. That is a Nice Set-Up.
Thanks for watching Bud!!☺
It's a Classic! So is Daddy Dirtbike who looks like he has been working on his tan.
truly impressive! deserves being bolted to an ultra lite
Thanks Bud!!☺
Hi RoadKing. Love that Sound. You guys rock Buddy.
Liked,Shared and added to Playlists has always.
Bobby
Thanks alot Bobby!!☺
Looking as good as the day it was born. You should have t-shirts done with your catchphrases on :)
Thanks Mate!! I've thought about getting some "Awight Nuffa Dis" T's made!!☺
never seen it run , that is cool... i need to go back and watch that series /
Excellent! Reminds me of the sound made by a '30s Indian or Henderson straight four firing up :)
Thanks Bud!!☺
I think that Daddy Dirt Bike was scared your engine might blow up. He was really standing back. :) :)
Sweet running "Briggs & Stratton inline 4"
Thanks Bud!!☺
That would be a perfect engine for a small car.
Saw you guys at jacktown Saturday. Too many people around to say hi haha
Don't be shy Bud!!☺
I have always thought that it would be cool mounted on a old Cub Cadet tractor
What a Kool project
RoadKing you old dog!!!! Bringing out the 4 cylinder Briggs, pure CLICK BATE!!!
What a fantastic sounding engine and I loved the build project at the time.
Now with the passing of time is there anything you would have done differently with the 4 cylinder?!
Nah we're happy with everything about it!☺
Dude that thing rocks!
Thanks Bud!!☺
Very impressive! now put this little beauty on a rat-rod-looking go kart, it'll be pretty awesome.
Thanks Bud!!☺
I'd have the coolest snowblower on my street if it was powered by the beauty.
could you imagine this thing built like the race flathead briggs engines? good lord!
It could be a small car engine at that point...
Love that sound of that
them are some cool looking spark plugs
Next ? A 4 harley V-8 ?? Watch for leaks!!
....do it!
I wouldn't mind seeing that. Or two vw flat 8
Debonaire Catalina65 I've had this thought many times how about a V12 so it's basically an exotic sports car Engine
Id love to see yall make something like this again but maybe do a V4. Then put it on or in something.
Sounds like our 5k engine from toyota 👍
That's pretty darn cool. It sounds like a Continental O-200 aircraft engine with straight pipes. Is it a 180° crankshaft?
It reminds me of the old Continental flat head fours like in older fork lifts.
That is EXACTLY what I thought. Sounds like an old Y-112 or F-163 used in welders.
Tadfafty , yeah, something doesn't smell right. Also, did you notice the "drive" pulley? I wonder if it is actually the driven pully.
The pulley goes to an electric starter. Which yea, ya need something to start turning the engine over.
they didnt show the crank but, they did show all 4 pistons moving in sync with the heads off.
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching Bud!!☺
It's a work of art, for certain.
Did he hand-craft that crank shaft?
Can you make a 10 minute running video of this 4 cylinder? I really love the sound. Go for minimum rpm as well hehe. Just love it.
I didn’t see the build , but did they throw an oil pump in it somehow?
Low idling is ok for a few moments for effect but it doesn’t throw enough lube around, I wouldn’t wanna see them hurt it.
I’m waiting for the day they will make a V8! Either with vanguard blocks or old Briggs engines.
Still my favorite build 👍🏻😀😀
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite also!!☺
That thing screams BOARDTRACK RACER!
Pretty cool. All the way around.
Thanks Bud!!☺
reminds me of my favorite type of motorcycles, the in-line 4's from ACE, Henderson, Cleveland, and Indian.
How much money did you put into making the result?
sounds good, that would make a nice go kart engine...lol
roger oconnor not really lol. It’s huge and made up of 4 Briggs and Stratton 5s’ I think each one only making like 1.1hp. Your looking at really just 4 to 5 hp from this creation
Christian Lucatino I have seen it in person, it was a joke
You can’t say with a strait face it wouldn’t be pretty cool to have that on a gokart. Put some copper trim on the gokart. Just an idea
Glad to hear her runnin' :)
Have you guys submitted this video to anyone at Briggs & Stratton? I'm sure they'd like to have you demonstrate at a couple functions.
B&S left a few comments on our channel right after we finish building it but that's as far as it went!!☺
Love that engine
Thumbs up and you are very creative.
Thanks Bud!!☺
Welcome !
Now you need to build a little cycle car for it.
Sounds good, reminds me of an old airplane engine.
That would be awesome in a little cyclecar or something
Beautiful!
Thanks Bud!!☺
how you make the crank shaft ? weld an make ssure its straight ?
I love that engine
Thanks Bud!! Yeah it's my favorite!!☺
that thing sounds like a WWI fighter plane. Sounds like the Red Barron is coming for us
Toss it in a Frame Bike or Older Motorcycle car , make it work and
Enjoy it even more than a static display .
Honda's new engine!
holy cow roadking I know you from Jacktown show and I've seen you in zippo live streams😅
We'll be there in a couple of weeks!!☺
Still reminds me of the engine sound of a 1970s era ford escort... :P
Hey Guy love the channel, just a thought seems the radial has fallen off the charts. Build a V2 or V4 Briggs, that would be great and cant find one out there. What the thinking on this?? cheers..
Runs great
Thanks Bud!!☺
@@805ROADKING no problem
Smooooothe running :-)
How’s the summer going buddy ? Going to get the boys on the mini bikes ?
Here’s your heads up like every year .
I’m heading off to Rollag again this year ,,am I keeping a spot for you ?
Nah no Rollag for me, too far away!!☺
Idea For The Next Crazy Engine Project
Turning Two Inline 4 To V8
Or
Making V6 From Three VTwins
i can get a small dune buggy frame tomorrow
how did you make the engine itself??? I love it...the sound...everything
Check out my playlist, we show the whole build!!☺
