Rather odd that this two year old video popped up on my suggested video page, but very glad it did. Love anything non-mainstream coming from the mind and hands of a fellow human being. Let's see an AI accomplish that. Congratulations on having such a creative mind and putting it to use.
Did you hear what he said in the very beginning of the video this is a brand new video he is making four people that didn't get a chance to see the motor run it's not a two year old video
That project is what got me addicted to your channel a while back. When things look store bought you accomplished your mission spot on. I just can't come up with the words on how impressive this is! So much enjoy all your projects, seeing how any issue can be overcome. Non traditional home made creations are the best!
805ROADKING ... I never get tired of watching and listening to this engine. It's really nice after you did the rering job. Not nearly as much smoke. King how about an opposed four cylinder, Aircraft style.
Nice work. Some people would look at it and not understand the amount of work that went into that project. There is an Antique Tractor club near me in Pennsylvania. Every fall they have a show. There is a building that is just for these kinds of engines and display set ups. Someone took an old John Deere and put 4 Briggs and Stranton motors in place of the hit and miss motor. It looks like it came out of the factory that way. Again....Nice work. Thanks for posting.
This engine was the reason I subscribed to your channel. You guys are awesome and I've always loved how down to earth, natural and honest your channel is. Keep em' coming buddy!
Had a Briggs engine like those originals on a homemade motor bike .... first motor vehicle for me... back in the 60s. Rope start and plug ground kill switch. My first adventures in learning about things mechanical. Kudos to these guys... masters at their craft.
Jay Leno would probably be willing to see your creations and also be very interested in your radial engine build as well. See if you can send that to him and who knows, you may get lucky. Love seeing this engine run.
Fantastic setup! Amazing amount of work required for something like that. Wish engines were offered in inline four with lower rpm than the stuff they sell today.
This is one of the coolest things on UA-cam. I've watched the entire build series and one of my favorite parts of each video is when you star by saying 'hello tubes' or similar.
They have been in Murray since mid eighty's i think. Some of the guys i went my last 2 years of high school with still work there. Theres another plant somewhere in Georgia i believe as well.. It's crazy when I go back every now and then for a visit it freaks me out cause I worked for a buddy of mine and we landscaped the plant in 82 and now the trees are huge and makes me feel old, lol...time passes quickly.
And you guys got the cam and crank from 4 motors merged together , running true, and event timing on point..wow! Very impressed. I tip my hat to you guys from Australia 🇦🇺
Sounds like it needs bigger exhaust, intake, or carb, or all. When revving it up it sounded like it was being restricted, especially when he put his hand in front of the exhaust, it was spitting pretty hard. But since it's only for show hell, it's great! Wish I had one. I'm jealous lol
Not only a lot of work went into this machine but a lot of intelligence and talent as well ! I own a Motorsports dealership here in Connecticut. If the Wright brothers built this motor and put it in their first A/C it probably would have enable to extend it's flight time images of lighter-weight in range of power, and it really does look like a period 4 cylinder engine.. Very well done guys..Gregg Savage
I am really impressed with it would love to have It. I use to work for a hydraulic clynder compact. For shows we built a working clynder with a square piston and shaft. That was a fun project.
-Now that shop is a real 'Man Cave' :) A creative brain trust to be proud of. Beats in spades, today's govt brain 'washing' institutes, with more 'social' studies, than practical experimentation, on into real time beta testing.. Keep up the great work.
That looks like a restored engine from an old riding mower. You could have said that was from an old riding mower and I honestly think people would believe it. You did an excellent job
Hey hook up a transmission put it into a quality racing go cart and see how fast you can go. I love your machine work you guys have done. I bet you could fabricate the engine to a troy built or a shaft drive tiller or a riding lawn mower. Great work guys.
There seems to be plenty of those old 50's charmers over there, based on how many we have seen you guys modify. I've never seen one like those over here in NZ, and B&S engines are on bloody everything here too. ;) The most common one I come across is the one where the crankcase and cylinder are all cast as one unit, and you remove the SIDE of the crankcase to get at the bottom end.
Wow, first time seeing this. Your craftsmanship looks factory level, it's a very clean build. Did you guys have to mill a custom crank and cam? It looks so balanced that it didn't shake at all. Dang fine work.
I would love to see that engine on an early motorcycle frame. It would have the look of a late 20's early 30's Henderson. Beautiful engine. Absolutely beautiful.
for only 4 months your metal work is amazing you can tell there's years of experience people don't understand to get it to look like that that good would take most people a year I mean it literally looks like something you could go buy from Briggs
Hy guys, saw you on smarter every day. I am blown away by this. I’m not an expert but the precision needed to do what you did is probably insane. Great job Thierry from Quebec

this is just too cool to not put in a Rod or Bike project of some form. It's too pretty to put in a Rat rod, but it look awesome in an early '50s style rodded T-bucket of the like. It's too nice to let just sit on display. excellent work.
Just connecting all the crankshafts so that ignition timing using a distributor like you did would seem to be a very difficult task alone. Great work you guys.
I still can't get over how good that thing came out. Looks like its something that came right from the Briggs and Stratton assembly line (which i know thats what you were shooting for)

I'll take your word for it but you can never prove that its as strong as a 4 cylinder cast pieces unless they put it to some sort of test. I do a lot of auto motors and you would never weld a crank together even when they made those old dragsters with the 2 V8's tied end to end. But again not watching every video I will take your word for it.
And a 100 years from now someone will find this motor and spend endless time researching on what it was for.
