The guy went from one mainstream band after another since like 1999 and he is easily one of the best guitarists out there today to say he is "underrated" is a delusion.

At 9:51 how is he changing the effects back to the wah sound. He starts the song this way then kicks into just a straight distortion but then back to the wah sound. His feet r crossed n I don't see any pedals anyway so how does he do this?
He was strumming above the nut then he touched the string to the pickup pole piece. It's noises we've all made but never had the talent to put it to good use. As the cam pulled back there was some Killswitch shenanigans too

He’s a sponge….and super clean accurate technical prowess….the he turns out to seem so genuine and grounded …modest even….when such talent melds with humility it’s such a beautiful thing to experience. Wish there were more out there like this guy…now he just needs the perfect platform to exhibit his skills and musical personality…and obviously Crue wasn’t that for him…would actually think he would be a perfect fit for a Van Halen tribute with Hagar, Anthony and Bonham…no disrespect to to Bic Johnson…but John 5 plays EVH more accurately and has right disposition for a better fit….the shame would be he would even then be selling himself short die his range of knowledge and talent…but if there was a perfect for sonically for VH tribute tour it would be with this guy…just my opinion….
