It's true big part of the nowadays music is just commercial shit, inclusive bullshit, or just threat always with the same topics, this era have good artistis but they are underrated
I bet I'm the only guy here that is listening to this in a tent. Crying. I miss you dude. Imagine the music he would have made. I dedicate every song I write to you man
Imagine jamming around a camp fire with Kurt and acoustic guitars and bongos like we used to. Dave would have broken his bongo. Or Kurt would have dove into it. You know we're right.
I saw Nirvana on 1994, to be more specific at Seattle Center Arena in the already distant January of that year...god, what a fantastic concert and full of power was, until today I CANNOT FORGET IT and the presence of the band (especially Kurt) is something that is still fresh in my mind today. These works done by people with great creativity and this channel that took on the task of putting together a new Unplugged, is something that I appreciate and value. I am currently 49 years old and I can brag to my children that I saw Nirvana live. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO.
Hey I was at that same concert! -Except that I'm a couple years older than you.... I too vividly remember the concert like it was yesterday! Was so bummed that they had already sold out of the tour t-shirt, but ended up getting the angel t-shirt which I still have along with my ticket stub!😁
I saw them on the Los Angeles (specifically the Forum in Inglewood) stop on the In Utero tour, December 30, 1993. Totally memorable show. Someone tossed a shoe at Kurt before the acoustic set, hitting him in the chest, and he slumped over like he was dead. The crowd roared! He just said some snarky thing and went on with the show. He was completely unique and was already legendary by that time. I couldn't wait to see them again in concert. If only...
I can just imagine Kurt and the band doing another unplugged show in the early to late 2000's had Kurt not ended his life. Just visioning the crowd waving their arms to And I Love Her. Rest well, Kurt.
Really amazing... I love Old Age... seems transport our soul to a hidden alternative space and time in the heart of Kurt... thank you so much for this brilliant tune!
That’s a very accurate description of the feeling one gets when listening to some of his more rare songs and recordings. I have a friend who argues that it’s impossible to get to know a stranger through their art or music. Obviously I feel the exact opposite, and in fact, I truly believe that it’s that sense of community that allows all forms of art to bring people together through our shared pains and emotions. I truly shudder in fear to imagine a world where people couldn’t connect with one another through art and music. I don’t care how pretentious that might sound for me to say…
@@Memnoch_the_Devilisn't that the truth? I've loved Nirvana for some 30 years now, but originally I thought it was just the music I like. Then I read countless books about the band, listened to Kurt in interviews and shared the same attitudes toward certain types of people, had the same grievances, was treated the same way in high school, grew up in the exact same kind of town,, etc. The message was embedded in the music all along, that's what really formed the bond. I connected to him through his art. It's the window to the soul. It's kind of like when you make a friend and you get along really well and then you get to know this person more and more and you find out they're just like you. That's something AI can't and never will be able to emulate.
The best voice of my generation! And I haven’t heard anything even close to this band. Band which pave the way to so many others who wouldn’t be heard nowadays. Simple geniality..
It literally says read the description folks. Riot earth has done a lot of instrumental mock-up work for the demos Kurt did letting us hear what these songs might’ve sounded like… stop getting butt hurt over what amounts to some really dedicated folks doing us a solid. Stupid people shouldn’t breed.
I never saw that, till I used a laptop,or rotated my cell,to watch on its side, and I personally dont watch very many things that way. That's why I mentioned anything, but cleared up obviously.
It is surprising that in the Information Age, people are too lazy to inform themselves. The title says to read the description, but many users prefer to jump to conclusions.
Standing ovation over here, my friend! Incredible job on these! That’s definitely the best full-band remake of Do Re Mi I’ve ever heard! And the way you dialed it back for YKYR is genius. Loved how the banter from the real Unplugged was woven in & out. Fantastic work!!
Random fact, the day Kurt had created In Bloom, he called Krist and played it on an acoustic so Krist could hear it immediately. We could only imagine how awesome hearing that future hit sounded through a phone call.
This was magnificently done. Nirvana is my favorite band in the whole world. Kurt is the reason why i bought a guitar all of those years ago. I can listen to this all day, everyday. Thank you for this particular assortment of tracks.
Damn, I’m impressed. How the hell did you make this sound so good? You should master Nirvana Ivy League too. Probably their most obscure song. Truly blown away by how good this sounds.
This is a truly great creation. As a 47 year old fan I have so many Unreleased songs but many are poor quality versions or Kurt hadn't yet worked out the vocals. You did something that I thought impossible. You have given me and many others Nirvana music that is new, even to us. I was blown away. Whoever made this, thank you so much. I bought a six disk box set when I was 19, in the military called Into The Black. Some countries have no copyright laws. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that they owned this set. It contains songs by Ted, Ed, Fred and Fecal Matter. I'm not sure how rare some of these songs really are but I'd like to pass on the information if it's useful to you guys that make special things like this and do it for the larger Nirvana community. Your work is important to us.

I am always imaging that what would be happened if they put old age, do re me and verse chorus verse into the unplugged in new york. this is spectacular. thanks for your great work.
This just shows how much material Kurt REALLY had to work with for their Unplugged performance. Old age!?- an outtake, followed by In Bloom- one of their greatest hits!? What an introduction to their performance! But no, he always doubted himself and thought he would mess up Pennyroyal Tea, like who in the hell messes up a song with 2 chords!? Half of their performance are covers. Wish i could slap Kurt across the face and tell him to never doubt and believe in himself. Even You Know You’re Right and Smells Like Teen Spirit sound good with the right amount of effort. Man, I love Nirvana so much I wish Kurt never touched a needle in his life.
Nice fan album. I always dreamed to hear an accoustic rendition of Serve the Servant. I really like how you mixed the studio voice with you accoustic guitar/drum. Very good.
beautiful performance that expose the quality and creative capability of kind of artist that kurt was! a part of his whole imaginarium and musical legacy... ❤

No, it wouldn't. Making great music isn't enough to bend music industry over.
there's a lot of really good modern music it's just not played on the radio or in the mainstream like most of history
Finding good music today is not that hard you just have to look in the right spots…Or go back to the classics. 😂
Sappy deserved to be in the original unplugged, but man! What a dream to see all these songs on the show!
Such a great song. Could easily be another hit on Nevermind.
