When I was young I bought this album in the music store because of the cool graphic of the Mech.
And that is how I was introduced to Linkin Park for the rest of my younger years.

i remember buying this album because i like hybrid theory, and didn't appreciate this album because i had already "heard" all these songs before. now that I'm older, I really really appreciate the remix art, and new takes on the songs.!!

This album will always be simultaneously comforting and devastating for me. I listened to it over and over as a kid. It stands as a reminder of lost times, both good and bad.

Haven't listened to this album in 20 years. Heard those strings at the start and lost it. It won't get better, but you'll get tougher. This was a fantastic motivator, reminder, to keep going, I have a lot of strength to gain ahead of me.
Almost same here. Been 18-19 years. Im on a LP spree again for a month by now. The nostalgia combined with their immense talent is keeping the hold of me again. Bittersweet feelings.

I have to say, I love the whole album, but "Krwlng" is a straight up masterpiece. And Aaron Lewis' part in the song makes it even better.
Crawling sucks, even the Reanimation version.
The way crawling is set up in this album has directly influenced how I set up my final song when I do sets for open mic.
Aaron Lewis sucks as person and astist, and most his career has been garbage. That said, he peaked on Krwlng, it's like he used all his will to make this song justice, and holy shit he did. i got a lot of respect for Aaron after Krwlng... respect that sadly banished over the time (and the pile of crap Aaron has pulled up to this day), but this little piece of true art still exists and will exist till all is over.

But in Aaron Lewis's case these days, it's just a bad person making shit music. But hey, we still have this gem (and some of his old songs with Staind are also good, too bad he's more focused in pleasing political agendas instead of making good music these days).

Frgt-10 is probably one of the most underrated track Linkin Park ever produced, Chali 2na is fire on it despite only having a tiny verse and the beat is freaking raw

Yeah when i was a kid my friends and I used to bump frgt-10 all the time, we made a "club" in the spare bedroom and called it the "eye" good times. I will never forget that, we played pool and played lego rock raiders and felt like absolute badasses.

Bacon in the early 2000’s I asked my bro for hybrid theory for Xmas and he brought me this, foolishly I was so upset so I didn’t even take it out the wrapper. Years later when I passed my driving test I decided to open it and put it on in the car... I was absolutely gutted that I hadn’t opened it when I got it. This album is absolutely timeless, absolutely amazing and a masterpiece. Still one of my favourites. Unfortunately it got stolen. Just been reminded of it tonight. Epic

Hybrid Theory and Meteora are great, but this album is on another level in my opinion.
This album came out when I was like 7 or 8. My older brother got a copy before a three day drive from Arizona to Illinois. The both of us had to have listened to that album at least 10 times each on that trip in one of those skip-less CD players lol. I'm glad we discovered this when we did...

I remember when I got this album as a child from my older sister in 2002/2003. After listening to the first few songs I started crying because they sounded so weird to me with all this scratching and other sound effects. I thought my CD was broken. She then told me that my CD was fine and this kind of music is called a remix. Long story short: now, almost 20 years later, I still love listening to this album.

i'm a big fan lp since my 11 y.o. and now i'm listenning to this album, rembembering the times of my childhood and getting nostalgic, this is just amazing, chester will never be forggoten, he deserved the fame, the love and the apreciation from the fans over all those years
Rediscovering Reamimation after 20 years has BEEN TRANSCENDENT
This was and still is one of my most cherished albums of all time. Purely gold and so much raw talent out of all of them. So blessed to have grown up with music like this to shape my life.

I will never forget being a 12 year old kid banging out to this...just when you thought hybrid theory couldn’t be matched they go and remix the songs. I just listened to crawling off this and it’s truly haunting how Chester’s vocals sound now that he’s no longer with us....
Back in the days, this album was pure gold. At some point in my life, I stopped listening to Linkin Park. Now I like Black Metal and stuff. But still, after 20 years I come back to this record and it always gives me the chills. This is an incredible piece of art. I love it.
