I have really enjoyed the addition of Kevin as a tester on your channel. Please don't tease us with a few videos with him and then have him disappear. They irons look amazing. I wish the price was as amazing.
I would really like to see a comparison between the Stealth HD, Cleveland Halo, Cobra T-rail, and Wilson Launch Pad as these are all comparable designs. Sub 70 799, a direct-to-consumer brand, is another.
Swung this at the golf shop near by as a demo and the look isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Although it was only the 7 iron it felt really good compared to what i swing now
I play the regular stealth irons and love them. I was looking forward to the stealth HD version coming out. Looks like they play really well but man I cannot get past the looks at all.
Agreed. I have a 30 yr old set of Ping Goldeneyes and have been waiting to get a some stealths of sim2s. I was trying them out the other day and was hitting the 7 185-195 yards which is a 15 yard improvement from my current set. The HDs are ugly I would buy the 3 iron HD if anything
Yep, ego gets in the way for many golfers. The funny thing is that the target audience for these clubs shouldn’t have any ego whatsoever regarding their golf game.
Definitely going to at least hit 1 before I buy because I'm looking for a 5 iron to add to the already amazing stealth irons of 22 , p790 I'm really wanting though
Great review guys interesting that Taylormade are the first of the big brands to have a hybrid iron. I think Cleveland were first then Cobra and Wilson brought out sets. These look better how do they perform against the other hybrid sets that would be an interesting test. Greetings from 🇬🇧
I play with Cobra FMax hybrid clubs today...swinging much better and ready for new clubs and interested in HD, Halo, T-Rails. Can the offset be tweaked as I tend to close the face quickly with my swing path?
In theory for us slow swing speed golfers good contact will lead to higher and longer shots. Would poor contact lead to worse hits do to the chunky head?
This type of clubhead is designed to help golfers with mishits more than other clubs. The Stealth HD head will be less likely to twist open or closed on an off-center strike than most other models
Kind of dumb for companies to renumber clubs stronger for apparent distance gains. Hitting a 7i with 6 or 5i lofts, really marketing themselves out of numbers.
Naming these "Stealth" irons is a mis-step IMO. Why would they name a SGI lineup after a driver? These should have their own nomenclature, and their own backstory. They have nothing to do with carbon fiber, or the PGA tour players, and as far as I can tell, cater to a completely different segment of the market than someone looking at a Stealth driver.
Buying a new 5-AW direct from Taylormade - I had old Browning super low-profile clubs and wanted the same shape with new tech. These are SWEET

Thanks for watching! We're coordinating some more video shoots with Kevin...stay tuned!
I cant wait. Finally, super game improvement from TM

Great video. I ordered a 7 iron today in the HD model. If I like it I plan on ordering a full set
Very consistent, like the idea of these a lot. Must be strong contenders for launch of the year 🎉

This is the Oakensoul of Irons 😊😊😊
How about a head to head with the Cleveland Launcher XL Halo and Cobra T-Rail irons?
Thanks for the review of the HDs. How do they compare with the Halos or Launchpads? Thanks

kevin is the best tester by far. Actually has some reactions.
Can they be used with a senior shafts? thanks.

Are these played like a hybrid or an iron? Thanks.
Super fantastic
Thanks for watching!!
I’m considering this iron. 67 years young, handicap 12, slow swing speed so 7 iron average 68 to 70 mph. Should work for me?
Love your reviews.
Them clubs are for people with slow head speed yours is 15mph more than mine but I was getting more spin
I wish these had less offset. Seems like a lot of it.
Are they bendable?

I disagree. 😅
