Man, your litterally living my dream job, great content as usual, and an even better rider 👍
Your killed it dude, great job... nice to know bikes are still supreme, even with the crazy advancements of cars
Brilliant..s1000rr nothing can come close. Amazing bike
Jonathan Rea and his ZX10R beg to differ.
You got the bike off the line so well every time, great riding.
As someone said, nothing can beat a fully set supersport race bike on a straight line, atleast in a quarter mile drag. long live the love for bikes, its just second to flying
Ever saw a funnycar or topfuel dragster on the 1/4 mile?
@@dirkhuisman7747 lmfaoooooo how are you comparing a top fuel dragster to something that costs about the same as one of its rear wheels, AFTER it’s been modified 🤣🤣, just goes to show how ur brain works
@@dirkhuisman7747 I am talking about the road legal ones, if you r talking about the dragsters then u need to be comparing it with similar ones..
BMW s1000 is an amazing machine. My third favorite bike. ApriliaRSV4, then HondaRRRsp, closely followed but the BMW
Well done and gorgeous cars. Have an older 1000cc sportbike and it satisfies me the exotic stuff it could obliterate versus the cost.
This made my Wednesday, stop actually whole week. Some Super Spanking goodness. Thank you from Perth AU :)
This really gave me such a massive grin, brilliant fun thanks for this.
No worries Derek, glad you enjoyed it.
funny thing is,my old cbr 1100 xx woud smoke many of theese cars- and it costs next to nothing in comparison - people who has never driven a bike dont understand how insainly fast they r..even my classic cb 750 from 1981 leave most normal cars in the dust - " look at me! i have spent 150k € on a flashy car to show off!" gets smoked by a 3k€ bike.. love it
Lol front wheel was basically up half of the time and STILL won... love it
best part is the s1000rr still has the stock pipe, probably stock mapping, and it's known to have major restrictions, especially in the North American bikes due to California emissions.
2nd-4th gears there's massive power drop offs to the point where once a pipe and tunevis thrown on there's up to 80hp gains, 50hp on average. I can only imaging how it would do after some proper tuning.
Have to admit..Tesla has some crazy fast acceleration.....smashed BMW in initial launch....!!!
Watched an upload from one of the car ‘tubers’ sites the other day. No mention of there being a bike smashing the cars to bits. 🤣 To be fair though if the strip was 1/2 mile a couple of those cars would be chomping the bikes back wheel at the top end! So pleased that petrol heads (2 or 4 wheels) can still get together and have fun and show what modern machines are capable of. Keep up the good work.👍🏼😁
Cheers, that might of been an earlier vid. It's a regular event for them...
i think half mile is not enough maybe more than half mile,
LOL? 😂 S1000RR dropped 1200 HP Bugatti Veyron Vitsesse to 1/2 mile that was longer than that
Funny thing is s1000rr will smoke these all on 1 mile runway including 720s 💀 you have no idea how fast a litre bike is
This is the best video I've procrastinated to so far today! The S1000RR is a beast. I agree, witnessing a Tesla launch is a surreal experience, no noise at all and pretty much pulls a wheelie!!
Cheers!
5:50 what a pleasure to see both vacuum cleaners getting utterly destroyed
Fantastic video, great riding sir. Thank you for sharing
Bikes rule, that’s why I love them. I’ve never been beaten by a car on any commute in 25 years!
On my way to work this morning I had a guy pushing 😂 my NC750 commuter cleaned him 🤣
If you biker guys want some real 4 wheel competition check out the cars at UGR (Underground Racing) 2000HP street legal R8s, GTRs, Huracans, And my personal fav and arguably the coolest... Gallardos with up to 3500 hp that accelerate like crazy
Wow! You never been beaten by a car. Well bully for you. Does anyone else care or is it just you?
@@asensibleyoungman2978 Well your tag name def describes you
As Chris said... "The BMW S1000RR, pretty much faster than everything" Oh! and the car fan boy's... I'll get you a tissue to dry your eyes.
@IMO I'm sure if you arrange it, Chris will be there.
in ay race track the bike gets killed by any good car- dont even need a super car to afster than a bike in a track
@@paulo-magum3621 I'm pretty sure if you get your "any good car" at say Silverstone our Chris will be there on the S1000RR. Oh! and if Chris can't make it... I'll ride the bike. How's that?
No production car will be able to outrun a bugatti, koenigsegg or most hyper cars. Many many moded GTRs, R8s, Amg gts will outrun the s1000RR(even in a straight line). Even an Rs6 wagon will be able to keep up with it. Also bikers get their brains smashed and scattered on the road, some loses a hand or a leg and a lot of time it's not even their fault. You won't ever get the safety of a on a bike

McLaren something 🤣
Rider life🔥😎
One of the most fun bikes of all time imho. Took one out for a test ride while having the GSA serviced and pulled a power wheelie downshifting from 3rd into 2nd on the highway at about 65mph. Kinda mind blowing how high and effortlessly she revs too.
Sean Connery’s voice “Isn’t that just like a posh... brings a Bentley to a drag race” 😜😜
Wasn't sure if I was gonna ride tomorrow...
This helped me make up my mind 🏍️💨
Glad we could help!
would be interesting to see this on a panigale v4 too.
We might try that next time, they'll have to bring something very special though.
H2 vs Porsche taycan🤔🏍👍🚀
@@mrgreen9388 H2 would walk a taycan all day
@@mrgreen9388 The Taycan is very slightly quicker than those Teslas. Its not got a chance against this S let alone an H2.
@@mrgreen9388 ua-cam.com/video/DRLElJM3Bk8/v-deo.html
LOL at giving the M5 the hit *with* your hands on your helmet!
that evil laugh at the end just nailed that...aamazing...everyone knows bikes were, are and always will be JUST BETTER. amen
Having ridden bikes for many years the outcome was no surprise to me. The key is the launch. If one c knows how to do that a bike like the BMW is unbeatable.
Well done. So many amazing cars!!!! WOW!!!
Please give us all the footage! could watch the whole thing non stop..!
Finally a rider who can launch a bike properly
It should be noted that pretty much every 1000cc sportbike from 2005 and up would have the same results
A lot of the nakeds/sport tourers too. Basically anything that can get in the 10's over a 1/4 and thats a LOT of bikes.
Reading these comments I feel like an outcast for liking cars AND bikes
And that bike is still stock is the best part, bikes are the best
How many more reasons do you need to love bikes? ❤️
And this is why i love my H2 :D Bikes rule
Ninja H2R is watching this video while cleaning it's supercharger and laughing hard 😂
I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn’t the H2R beat the BMW1000?
@@markdice6361 H2R isn't street legal
@@Arka_BK LOL neither is goin over 70 mph which would make these bikes pointless. Nobody can catch you so it really doesn’t matter. Anyway the H2 is street legal. Who is faster?
@@markdice6361 0-100 km BMW wins...100-200 h2 is 0.3s faster.... and pointless? 😎 we have the "autobahn" 😎
@@Arka_BK lucky. We don’t.
Hands down for that biker!!! Epic launches. I can keep my hands up all day too in awe :D
Oh damn I am drooling after this bike!
Quietly impressed that so many cars could stay anywhere near it.
Humbling to think the Kawasaki 750 turbo I had in 1985 would have come last, and probably by a long way.
Mind blowing stuff!
