I personally take it apart and wash it with water few seconds and let it dry. Once a while i clean it like the instructions. Its really not a big deal.

A semi-automatic coffee machine (a classic one like you see in bars) is incredibly easier to clean (especially for milk based beverages), the coffee costs much less than using capsules, and the result is a lot better.
The only downside is that you have to invest more money upfront for the coffee machine + grinder.

Totally untrue. I've yet to try a home coffee machine that makes better coffee than my Nespresso Romeo or my Nespresso Gran Maestria using genuine Nespresso capsules. As for the price, also totally untrue. To get the same quality coffee ground as the ones used by Nespresso in their capsule you need to buy coffee that cost around the same per gram. I've had a "regular" manual espresso machine for year before buying my first Nespresso. So I know what I'm talking about. What about you? Do you even own a Nespresso machine? I guess not.
The milk cup at max is usually not enough to steam milk because I usually needed more so whenever I have to refill the milk again, the milk usually drips from the milk spout and creates a mess. I had my Aeroccino 3 before this and it is always clean and doesn't create a mess unlike using this latissimma...

I have had this machine for about a year now and have made about 2-3 cappuccinos in that time and they come out great. I usually just drink espresso from it though. Today I tried twice to make a cappuccino and the milk was not frothy at all. I did exactly what was done in this video, but it ended up just mixing the milk into the coffee without any foam. How do I fix this?

Just bought this machine on sale a few days ago. The milk/latte came out great. But a few days in I noticed that after coffee brewing the machine was steaming like crazy from where you put the pod in (thick heavy steam almost like smoke). A slight plastic smell came from the pod slot and the coffee mug was so hot, I could barely touch it. The coffee also tasted over brewed. Clearly some issue with the heating system :-(.

Hi I’ve a Nespresso EN510B 1month old, used only a couple o days per week. The milk pump/frothed isn’t working at all. The milk button just keeps flashing. Have cleaned etc. what can I do?
this was sexy until the cleaning part began. Why would you name a product one touch if it requires an extensive cleaning session after each cup of coffee? :thinking:

you dont need to clean after every cup, just clean it when you finish your job.
Does anyone put it in the dish washer ever time or soak for 30 mins?
I pop the three smaller pieces in the clear part where the milk goes, teeny bit of dishwashing liquid, fill it with warm water, hand on top, give it a shake, then rinse it. And I let air dry. I do maybe once a month use a teeny bottle brush to give it a more thorough clean. I did start putting it through the dishwasher early on but was worried about it fading (I’ve got the black/charcoal one).
Hello. I want to make hot milk on Espresso to make Cortado. After I get an espresso with a capsule from my machine. Is it possible for me to get only hot milk without capsules?
How does machine know if I have inserted a lungo capsule or espresso capsule if you press the cappuccino/latte button and not lungo or espresso button?

Nespresso hi thank you for your reply. What I mean is when you press the button to make a cappuccino/latte should you use the capsules which are designed for espresso 40 ml size. What would happen if I was to use a capsule that is designed to be used usually pressing the lungo button. The machine would not no any difference and still use 40 ml water instead 110 ml? Hope that makes sense
Our pleasure. The milk button is designed to empty the full contents of milk in the container and then brew an Espresso shot totaling 40ml. The Espresso and Lungo buttons can both be programmed by pressing and holding them. If you prefer a Lungo pour, we would recommend pressing the milk button again to pause it, and then press the Lungo button to brew the coffee. Hi; The best Machine, can you help me? I'm filling the milk container at the level of latte macchiato (top measure) but only use half the milk (leaves milk at the level of capuccino). and the other think, it always leave milk at the bottom.

So from personal experience I am able to refill milk jug and leave in the fridge for next coffee. Doesn't clog up. Bought it on sale so no regrets.

I’m not sure the machine detects skimmed milk. I fill the container with milk and no detection at all.

I use oat milk with this machine and it works great! My boyfriend even prefers oat to dairy milk now :) If you are in the UK, the brands I've used and recommend are Oatly (whole preferable), Califia and Minor Figures

Is it possible to make the espresso or cappuccino hotter?
Hi Deirdre, all of our machines are set at a certain temperature to get the best out of the coffee and milk. If you would like your drinks to be hotter, then we recommend that you pre-heat both your machine and cup by running a lungo shot through the machine and steam through the milk unit into your cup. Can you use the machine to pour hot milk without coffee? Currently have a citiz+milk and was thinking of changing over but we sometimes use the aeroccino to make just hot milk. Could we use the milk frother on the Lattissima One to do the same?

I have the same doubt as you, maybe its possible, in every nespresso machine you can interrupt a process by pressing the button again, maybe you could press the button again before the machine pours the coffee to stop it, it works in other nespresso models that i own

Hi, I'm from Morocco, I just got the Machine and I also have the milk level problem. I fill the container up to the machiato limit but the machine stops pouring the milk when it gets to the cappuccino level and doesn't use all of it. My only complaint is it doesn't come with diff size glasses and it doesn't give u the option to buy em nor does it tell u what size glasses u will need. So frustrating.

I've reset mine several times. It's brand new. The Latte function doesn't work according to the directions. I have been able to get to work, but it will not work first before coffee coming out (as directions indicate) and most often the latte light will not come on at all. Any suggestions?

It's a terrible experience in having this machine.
I used the machine last than a year and the milk isnt foaming properly and come out like hot milk, no form... this problem actually started few months back meaning is that the machine only 6months and start having problems!!
When the time we purchased sales said this brand is very reliable with 2 yrs warranty 1to 1machine replacement but they now said the milk carrier is the one causing problem and its external part not covered in warranty!
It's ridiculous, what if I buy this new carrier few months later i get same problem?? the milk foamer is just so fragile.
Warranty is so fake, my machine now has problem, ask them pick n check, said if the technician reported it's the milk container problem only, then I have to pay all the cost for thr pick up n milk container replacement!!? What kind of service? Only Malaysia is like this??

No, you only can set the volume of espresso (20-70 ml) or lungo (70-150 ml).

Hi Michel, the coffee buttons on your Lattissima One can be reprogrammed by following these steps:
1. Press and hold the button you wish to program until the desired quantity is reached.
2. Release the button.
3. The programmed button will blink three times to confirm the new setting.
Does Nespresso make any machines that cost more than $300 and DONT work. I feel like throwing away more money.
I don't recommend this. It's expensive for such a basic machine.
The RCS does not have a self clean function which means you have to clean it every time you use it. What a chore.

@@Paulgary11 It is true. And it is annoying compared to some other milk systems out there, which have a self-cleaning function using hot water.
You're much better off using a simple machine like the Nespresso Pixie and the Aeroccino...it's effortless...too much cleaning required on the lattissima one in my humble opinion, not worth it.

Cause they have delongi's auto clean system, just put a cup turn the dial and its clean.
Way more better than this.

Mostly cleaning this thing than making simple coffee do not recommend also makes a mess with the milk dispenser

Las maquinas mas viejas se pueden limpiar sin desarmar todo. Es muy engorroso el proceso. Opino que son unos inútiles o que los que diseñaron la máquina son viejos sin ideas simplicadoras de vida. NO RECOMIENDO ÉSTA MÁQUINA. COMPREN LA DOLCE GUSTO. Cápsulas mas baratas y café más rico.
So if I want to make 4 cups for the family or if I have guests You expect me to remove the milk thing, disassemble it, clean it, dry it, wipe with towel, assemble it, put it back on, start again, after each every single cup. Nope! This is a bad product and Im returning mine.

Just remove the Milk container and add Milk and it should work fine for all the cappuccino you may need, I make like 5 every day and deep clean at the end of all 5.

Nesspresso capsules taste so bad 🤮 I don’t know how I used to drink it before 🤮 now I’m using dolce gusto machine with Starbucks capsules it taste much much better than Nespresso
