I love my Nespresso Lattissima Touch!!
This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
The cleaning effort takes away the enjoyment of your cup of coffee. Blasted!!

I'm in the USA and just got this unit. For latte, espresso comes out first and then the milk. Is that correct? And the temp is warm, at best, but certainly not hot. I've had the unit for less than a day and not very impressed.
I am happy with my Delonghi nespresso essenza mini.

i bout one of these and my cups of coffee look nothing like that and they don't taste too much different than just a regular cup of coffee i make with the keurig any suggestions before i return it?
Impossible. Taste them side by side... It's completely different! Try different blends too.
If you can't taste the difference between keurig coffee and nespresso espresso, then you should definitely return the Nespresso. It's not for you.

I find the warm milk is just that warm. Any way to make the milk hotter out of the machine rather than using the microwave

Is it ok to press the cappuccino button twice using the same capsule?
One cappuccino gives 50 ml (milk) / 40 ml (coffee) which is 90ml in total, not enough.
Or should I make a 180ml drink out of two capsules?

The answer is you keep pressing the latte macchiato button till it fill the glass

We just got our machine back after returning it because the milk isn’t heating. It’s no better now. The coffee is hot but the milk is Luke warm. This is very disappointing. What can we do?

I wash the milk container like every 1-2 weeks and it’s fine. You do not have to do it every 2 days as stated.
Geoffrey Giesbrecht You can’t say that for anyone. It depends on what area you live in as water has different qualities depending on chemicals deposed into the machine. And the pipes in your building. I have to descale every fourth day if I use it daily.

I am in Mexico and just purchased a Lattissima Touch model F521. When I try to brew a cappuccino, the machine brews a small amount, maybe an expresso cup, if that. How can I brew a full cup of cappuccino? Also, I am getting water in the used capsule draw. Is that normal or do I have a leak? Thanks
Hi Elliot! The capuccino size contains: 40ml coffee + 50ml milk. The size is small but if you want, you can keep pressing the capuccino button until the size you want. When it is done left pressing it.

@@nespresso Thank you for the fast reply. Is it normal to have water in the used pod draw? I have read that several people have had this problem. The user manual says to make sure that the pods are in correctly or call the Nespresso Club.
You're welcome. A small amount of water is normal. If it seems excessive we'd recommend calling us to troubleshoot the issue.

Too much trouble in cleaning up the separate parts just to make a cup of coffee 😥 I rather prefer the traditional coffee maker... I only need to rinse the glass container once and it's done 😅

So every time I have a latte I should 1) bring a secondary cup for cleaning 2)detach all pieces on milk froth 3) rinse with warm water and then keep it for 30 mins in soap and water solution 4)attach again. Hello Starbucks am coming

Can you make a Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato using a Lungo pod? Will it pour the same amount of water as an Espresso pod, or more water?
With the factory settings, the Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato buttons will pour an Espresso cup for the coffee portion regardless of the capsule used. However, you can reprogram them to pour a Lungo cup by following the directions in the user manual. I have programmed the Latte Macchiato for a lungo pod. Do it with water only first to be sure of the volume. The cappuchino is still for a single pod and milk.
Can i keep it in the refrigerator if theres extra unused milk or shall i wash it right away

I have the same machine but after 4 days the coffee that it's pouring smells burnt. I tasted/smell the same coffee pod at the Nespresso boutique and it had tasted/smelled really great, but when I made the same cappuccino at home, it smells burnt (i tried different flavour pods too and they too smell burnt). Please help fix this problem nespresso 😭

Hi Luck, this machine can make espressos (40ml), lungo (110ml), cappuccino and latte. An Americano is simply one or two shots of espresso, topped up with water. You can therefore brew one or two capsules of your favourite espresso blend, eject the capsule and top up with plain water from the machine, according to taste. Many thanks.

When you watch barista's making cappucino they add coffee first and then milk/frother?
While we can't comment on how this may be prepared elsewhere, this machine will brew the capsule after the milk. We hope that you are able to enjoy a Nespresso soon.

OK I picked this up for a steal recently and have yet to try it😅😅 I didn't know all this cleaning crap was needed other wise I would have just gone with with a Pixie and bought a separate milk frother 💀💀💀

I also got mine for an absolute steal, but I think washing an external frother after making a coffee is a tedious task and I really love the Lattissima Touch.
I've had mine since its release many years ago and i don't clean it that often. I only rinse it into the overflow tray and rinse that put. The frother always lives in my fridge and it's not difficult or tedious at all. It comes down to habits anyway.

We recommend cleaning with our dedicated cleaning kit machines with a built-in milk frother every 3 months and according to the capsule consumption.
In addition, dismantle the froth parts and clean each part separately under a stream of water and then soak them in hot water for half an hour.

You are meant to clean the milk dispenser every 2 days? Are you serious? That's a lot more complex to clean than an Aeroccino which has fewer parts to dismantle and is much quicker to clean (no need to soak in water for 30 mins).
lostn65 it's quicker to clean but you have to clean it out every single time, where as with this you can clean every couple days
It takes about less than a minute to clean an aeroccino. This takes 30 minutes to soak and then you have to clean 6 parts and dry them. I'd rather do the Aerocinno every time since that will be quicker even though you do it more often. And I only drink one coffee a day.
It's also extremely simple to pop in the dishwasher! Have never had a problem cleaning my machine whether by hand or machine.
