hi, do I have to clean the Cappuccino system as per the video right after every single use? this would be kind of a hassle.. Is there another process/recommendation please?
I have had this machine for a month and have been loving it. Preparing one cappuccino has never been an issue. This weekend, I had guests, and wanted to make several in a row. We have been unable to do that. Following the manual closely, the machine should make the cappuccino, then orange button comes on. If you are making a second, you should push for milk button again and it will clean. Then I should be able to prepare a second cappuccino. We have been unable to get this to work, and feel we may have to return the machine. Is there a video showing making more than one cappuccino? Any other documentation besides the manual? Thank you. Hello there Lois! All our machines have been made and tested to be used with cow’s milk. However, soy and oat milk can froth with our machines, depending on the brand you use. Feel free to experiment with different kinds to discover which one suits your taste best. Cheers!
you can use any alternative. if the milk button doesn’t light up properly, place a small piece of paper/kitchen roll between the milk container and the machine. it only looks for white. anything works.
Curious, I just got my Lattissima One (Black). And mine has only Espresso and Lungo for non milk beverages and Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato for milk based beverages, but no Espresso Macchiato (on the milk container there are only the two markers for Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato but none for Espresso Macchiato ).
The latissima one just got revised from what I can tell. The differences I can tell so far: bottom metal plate, extra measure in the milk container (doesn't really matter IMO), rinse function (this one is the noticeable upgrade), better angled milk spout
@@Shatrugan I don't have any number that differentiates the two. The new one has the milk spout on the corner of the milk container the old one on the front, that yould be the easier way to tell them apart

I see that Nespresso has revised their Lattissima One... I have the old version and I made complaints about the milk container, that it never emptied my milk. The only response I got from the agent was “you can pour the remaining milk back in your milk carton so you won’t waste it.” 😒😒😒 Nespresso had probably noticed the problem too. I wish they could do something for people who bought the older version!

When we make cappuccino it adds the coffee automatically but for macchiato it stops after the milk and you need to press coffee manually although very occasionally it will randomly do it automatically. Do we need to return it?

Hello! To turn off your machine, press the Espresso and Lungo buttons simultaneously until the lights go out (approx 2 secs). A click noise signals that the machine is off.

It is not practical to have to clean it every two cappuccinos. It also blocked after the first cleaning and the cappuccino function no longer works (the button does not turn on)

I just got off the phone with support because my brand new machine stopped working when trying to use the frother/espresso button. It worked fine for the first couple of pods, but then would only froth the milk and then not pour the espresso. The person on the phone said this was because I live in the United States and that the amperage here isn’t suited for the machine to both froth and pour espresso. It should work correctly in the US, yes. To confirm, the Lattissima One should prepare milk then coffee when preparing a milk recipe rather than both simultaneously.
Very strange device. You can make only one cup of cappuccino at once, then you have to clean all this stuff. Sometimes it uses all milk, sometimes half, sometimes you have no milk at all, and finally sometimes you have just milk without coffee. If it is normal for that machine, I'd better return it.
100% agree. So stupid programmed. Like clean after every single prepare and suck aaaallll Milk and after second use (you wash all etc) it take all Milk and keep sucking empty bottle with annoying noise. I'd not reccomend that wierd device.
The touch version has a button to clean after using the milk.. so much easier! My friend got this one for her birthday en i thought this would be better.. But sometimes the newer versions are not always better..
First you don’t need to clean after every use In the manual it is recommend to clean after every use but you can create 5 coffee cup in quick succession before cleaning Second just remove and plug in again the milk container to stop the cleaning alert
I tried brewing lungo twice using the same capsule back-to-back and the result was still delicious - tasted like regular black dark roast coffee. Just note that second brew will be less concentrated, if you don’t mind that!

Hello Hammad. If you are using the machine for multiple cups in a row, you don't need to clean it between those uses. Due to its use of milk, it's recommended to clean it once you are finished using it for the day.

I just use the cappuccino function twice using the same capsule and refilling the milk the second time. The second brew of espresso will be less concentrated but I don’t mind that!

When I press the orange cleaning button a bunch of hot water comes out. Is that what is supposed to happen? Must I do the full dishwasher cleaning every time I make a milk drink?
Hello Kristen. Water should come out to help clean the machine. We recommend at least rinsing the milk container after every use, or storing the container in the fridge if it has milk in it, as to keep it fresh.

I don't understand the utility of the two small and big coffee buttons below the the milk button, if the machine will base its preparation (caffe macchiato, capuccio, or Latte macchiato ) based on the quantity of milk in the container
Hello Mo B, it is true that you only need the milk button for milk recipes. Due to the integrated sensor, the machine recognizes how much milk is present and thus dispenses the appropriate amount of milk foam and subsequently the coffee. In addition to this, you have the option of using the other buttons to obtain an espresso or a lungo without milk foam, for example. Kind regards from the Nespresso team.

How can you possibly make an espresso macchiato in this machine when there is no option to add the milk AFTER the espresso? Please make a video demonstrating how to prepare that espresso macchiato you’re showing in this video - and make sure it comes out perfect like the one you’re showing with absolutely no milk in the bottom espresso layer. This is so misleading.
Hello You are right, if you press the milk button, with the quantity for Espresso Macchiato, the milk will be poured first, then the coffee. However, the coffee is heavier and will not mix with the foam and directly go under the foam, creating this effect. Maybe it will not be exactly like in our video, but close. Our video illustrate what you can make with your machine, but we cannot guarantee that you will obtain the exact same coffee that you can see on that image. Have a nice afternoon. 🌞

Really disappointed. I hate that it adds the milk before the coffee - it might look cool in a glass cup but everyone knows you add the milk list for a better mix and this a better tasting coffee. One of your older models (which my dad has) allowed you do this.

I tried brewing lungo twice using the same capsule back-to-back and the result was still delicious - tasted like regular black dark roast coffee. Just note that second brew will be less concentrated, if you don’t mind that!
Can it make hot chocolate

Our Lattissima One machine is designed to make milky coffee recipes when combined with our Nespresso capsules, and we cannot recommend using it to make a hot chocolate. the milk doesn’t come out:(
So in the video it says that you should clean the cappuccino system in case you are not making another cup in a row. What exactly is recommended after we prepare one cup with it? Can we prepare the 2nd one right after or do we have wait or clean it first?
Hello Hammad. If you are using the machine for multiple cups in a row, you don't need to clean it between those uses. Due to its use of milk, it's recommended to clean it once you are finished using it for the day.
I've yet to see the frother pour out milk like that in the first 13 seconds. It's splattering everytherw in and out of the cup.

The Lattissima One can make 1 cappuccino at a time.
I just use the cappuccino function twice using the same capsule and refilling the milk the second time. The second brew of espresso will be less concentrated but I don’t mind that!
Why mine's not frothy? Is there a rule you need to follow for the milk?

When I press the orange cleaning button a bunch of hot water comes out. Is that what is supposed to happen? Must I do the full dishwasher cleaning every time I make a milk drink?
Hello Kristen. Water should come out to help clean the machine. We recommend at least rinsing the milk container after every use, or storing the container in the fridge if it has milk in it, as to keep it fresh.

I got one today 😢 using semi skinned from uk and not getting much froth for a cappuccino and doesn’t look as good as others gutted

I don't understand the utility of the two small and big coffee buttons below the the milk button, if the machine will base its preparation (caffe macchiato, capuccio, or Latte macchiato ) based on the quantity of milk in the container

it is true that you only need the milk button for milk recipes. Due to the integrated sensor, the machine recognizes how much milk is present and thus dispenses the appropriate amount of milk foam and subsequently the coffee. In addition to this, you have the option of using the other buttons to obtain an espresso or a lungo without milk foam, for example.

Hello Hamza. The Lattissima One makes Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino, Lattes, and Macchiatos.
I would think after you make your espresso remove the pod do not put a new pod in and press start in plain water should shoot out right? Let me know.
It is not practical to have to clean it every two cappuccinos.
I love nespresso but want a father that is connected to the machine and I can't afford the momento or anything like that this seems like best option I have question if anyone can help can you plum this machine ?
How can you possibly make an espresso macchiato in this machine when there is no option to add the milk AFTER the espresso? Please make a video demonstrating how to prepare that espresso macchiato you’re showing in this video - and make sure it comes out perfect like the one you’re showing with absolutely no milk in the bottom espresso layer. This is so misleading.

You are right, if you press the milk button, with the quantity for Espresso Macchiato, the milk will be poured first, then the coffee.
However, the coffee is heavier and will not mix with the foam and directly go under the foam, creating this effect.
Maybe it will not be exactly like in our video, but close. Our video illustrate what you can make with your machine, but we cannot guarantee that you will obtain the exact same coffee that you can see on that image.

Really disappointed. I hate that it adds the milk before the coffee - it might look cool in a glass cup but everyone knows you add the milk list for a better mix and this a better tasting coffee. One of your older models (which my dad has) allowed you do this.

What happens with the capsule😂
So stupid programmed. Like clean after every single prepare and suck aaaallll milk and after second use (you wash all etc) it take all milk and keep sucking empty bottle with annoying noise. I'd not reccomend that wierd device.
Ya, not exactly Nespresso/De’Longhi … other than my Lattissima One spurting milk erratically from one edge of my cup to the other, creating a mess I get to clean up each time, and always leaving milk in the frother … it’s just like your marketing video just you know, without the effortless enjoyment and one finger operation by the hand model. 😂

Please DM your Nespresso account number, preferred telephone number, and if your machine has yet to be registered, your serial number. This can be found under the barcode on the bottom of the machine, it is a 19 digit code of both numbers and letters.
