  • LET’S TALK ABOUT $$$. Hi guys, it’s Rachel and welcome back to my channel. Today’s most requested topic is all about the cost of living in Vancouver! Since it is quite a big topic to discuss, I don’t think one video is enough to give it justice. That’s why I decided to break down each cost per category staring with FOOD!
Learn about my daily expenses for groceries, eating out, drinking coffee and other must try food places in Vancouver! At the end of this video, I’ve also included some helpful tips to save money on food. Hope you find this helpful and enjoy ❤️

Yes, the parameters were needed to really drive my points home but also serve as a caution that this is not the be all and end all for students 🤗❤️ International students deserve way more tho imo and I hope in time the programs get better for us!
Thank you so much for saving the video 🫶❤️

Thank God I found your channel! I am curious about the food cost. Hahaha. I love how you explained everything in detail. Will be on vancity this December. I usually travel for food. However, since i came here for studying, and on a budget (hehehe) I need to control my food binge. Wish me luck!

    Hello Ms. Rachel,
Your videos are very informative and just so inspiring. More power!
I am also an aspiring international student in BC and I just wanna ask if there are also Filipino grocery stores and restaurants around Vancouver.
    Thanks a lot!

Hi Mark, thank you so much!! All the best to you too ❤️☺️
there’s actually a grocery store in Vancouver (by Elliot and E 49th) called 88 Supermarket, they have a lot of Filipino ingredients you’ll find there 😊
As for restaurants, I know they have Max’s here, Goldilocks. They have the famous PinPin by Fraser and OngPin in Richmond. Actually there’s a lot of Filipino stuff by Fraser street, it’s like a little Manila... so yea check that out 😜
