That’s my fave place in Vancouver where you are shooting!! 💖 I can feel the anxiety building up every single day. Watching your videos are very calming tbh. I lost my chance to apply through BC PNP or Express Entry to do this on my own because I couldn’t make the hours due to Covid. There are no exemptions even if I would’ve lacked 130 hours only. I wish it was a linear path too but again there are so many questions and road bumps. It’s definitely a privilege and my last resort is for my partner to sponsor me through common-law which has it’s own sets of bumps too. It won’t be the same glory as getting it on your own but if you need help, you have to accept that you do. Congratulations to you for finally feeling stable in Canada and hoping I’ll get it too!!
Thank you for sharing your story. Yes, its definitely a struggle to immigrate to Canada. I am glad that you found a your path and a loving partner (such a bonus). I am happy that it worked out for you !!!
Rachel, you made me cry. The way you speak and your expressions throughout the video are very very similar to what I've gone through to get here in Canada. I could feel your struggles, they resonated within me. Yes, we came from a different background but our struggles were the same from assimilating, to beating pockets, to patience and pride getting tested. I've felt all of that. I know my true calling is Canada and this has been a dream of mine ever since. Life isn't easy even here. I miss home, I miss my parents and my sister, even my friends but I have to stay and be strong and endure this emotional torture. I came here with a shattered heart. My ex boyfriend whom i've been in love with for 8 years broke up with me the day I had to go to the airport. I was in so much pain. He knew one day i'll have to choose my career over him. If I don't come to Canada, I will regret this my whole life. I realize that you shouldn't rely your happiness to someone, it should be within you. Sometimes you have to give up things you love for the greater good and that made me stronger and I'm so much happier. Things are becoming clear to me: this is for my own happiness, I wont live this life regretting and mourning over something that I should have done but gave up to cater to the happiness of someone else. Same, hopefully I can meet her in person as well~~~~ She is really inspiring me a lot through out of her process in Canada and be independent and take care of herself through all this hardships and away from most of her family members in Philippines. She is international student at first then become permanent residents. A very big change. ~ She is a very independent woman and alone in Canada by herself most of the time probably ~ A very strong and empowered woman! Should admired her! You are very powerful, Rachel. Just want to let you know. Be happy and positive as always! Take care! ❤😊😍
@aena Oh you planning to go to BCIT? Me too! Even though I am Canadian Citizens. Well, I think you will have enough points for PR later because BCIT have a very big rate for employment like 99% so I think you can apply for PR later on after graduate BCIT then applying for a career after you grad in couple months or you can find a part time job now. That's what my friends did before, doing a part time job as a waitress and institution school at the same time so that they can get their working Visa / work permit faster and now they become PR in Canada. That's based on my friends experiences. I'm not an expert and hopefully Rachel will reply you so you can get a better answer of that. Hopefully, that's what you are asking for~ I think it is an excellent idea to considering a two yrs diploma 😊
@aena I'm a teen and also graduating from high school. I thought college and university is for four years tho. Let me ask my friend and you can search it online too to find more information. Oh you can go to college for 1 or 2 years then transfer to university also. Help my friend asking the question for becoming permanent residents. There is someone response it for me. Let me see can I paste it. Also, nice to meet you, let be friend~ 😊

Seeing great people like you work so hard just to get Canadian permanent residency makes me feel so guilty that I was just born Canadian lol cheers on your journey
Not everyone applies for it because they like it in particular, and it does not mean they hate their place of birth. We apply because it comes with some advantages but Canada is far from perfect.
@@valeria-militiamessalina5672 well no it’s not perfect but people go to Canada for the opportunities they don’t have back home. In many cases Canada is better than their home country, but yes it’s not perfect and no one should think that it is paradise.
Congratulations! This made me more excited on my journey too. I recently graduated in my post secondary program and waiting for my Graduation letter to apply for PGWP 😀😀
Congratulations ate Rrdancel! 🥳😇👆 I believe that God has a plan in your life, all those hardships you’ve experienced is worth it. A friend suggested i should invest for the long haul, i shouldn't get too greedy and don't get too scared, but the problem is that i don't really have any clue on investing.
Wow great to hear! My US residency/ Greencard didn’t come in till about two years after I applied as a naturalized citizen & had been working here for 4 years.

However, I have the same feeling "my time in Canada wasn't over yet" last year - 2020, then after, I got invited as the score went down. It's was frustrating and even a long time waiting after submitting my application. Luckily, now my application was just approved today. I am from Toronto and would like to tell you this story and thank you for sharing your journey here! Hope we both enjoy our new life in Canada!

If ever you come to Vancouver, I don’t see why not 🤗❤️🥰
I am literally crying reading this message!!!! 😭🥺❤️ Thank you for your kind and encouraging words 🤗 Thank you for the love and support. 💗 If I can help through my platform and create impact by helping others, then I’m content. 😭
Hello Ms. Rachel!!!..Congratulations on your PR application approval!..you are truly an inspiration for us..
I almost teared up, wow!!!
So happy to hear that!! Congratulations! I will be applying for the PR Canada too. Please wish me luck❤✌😎
Congratulations.... Hope we'll come soon🇨🇦
ohhh hweee I can imagine the frustration of the waiting process of PR. It was never easy, but thank GOD you made it! CONGRATULATIONS
UA-cam just suggested me this video. I know how it feels as I felt the same earlier this year with Australian PR. Congratulation for your new chapter of life. Wish you happy with your Canadian dream.
Another PR viewer! I am so happy for you. Wish you all the best with your life in Australia.
Super love this vid! ❤️ I’m super happy for you! You’re one of the reasons why I’m pushing for my express entry and student permit application in Canada. For sure many viewers will also be inspired and use your success story as an example as they begin their journey going to Canada. I’ll to see you there soon, RR! Cheers and congratulations again! You deserve the PR! 😅✈️🇨🇦❤️
I’m a UA-camr and living in Canada as a student. My dream is to make a video like you once i got my PR. . I know it’s the most happiest moment in life. Congratulations 🎉 for your success. Hope you will learn something from you. Which help us to grow.
Yes, it is the happiest feeling because it feels like a weight has been lifted after working so hard for all these years to get to this moment.
I pray you get there too and I wish you all the best my friend! 😊🥰 Keep at it, day by day 🤗
Thanks 🙏. This is just a begging for your beautiful future.
Congratulations Rachel!!!! I feel so so so happy for your success in this long journey. You really deserve it. This is very inspiring!
AWWWW GEEZ MY HEART 🥺❤️ thank you so much, I feel the love and support! All the best to you too 💯
Seeing great people like you work so hard just to get Canadian permanent residency makes me feel so guilty that I was just born Canadian lol cheers on your journey
Nothing to feel guilty about, we all get dealt with different cards 🤗❤️
Not everyone applies for it because they like it in particular, and it does not mean they hate their place of birth. We apply because it comes with some advantages but Canada is far from perfect.
@@valeria-militiamessalina5672 well no it’s not perfect but people go to Canada for the opportunities they don’t have back home. In many cases Canada is better than their home country, but yes it’s not perfect and no one should think that it is paradise.
@@thepizzaelf yes you are correct
@@thepizzaelf you are 100% correct
Congratulations! This made me more excited on my journey too. I recently graduated in my post secondary program and waiting for my Graduation letter to apply for PGWP 😀😀

Congratulations ate Rrdancel! 🥳😇👆
I believe that God has a plan in your life, all those hardships you’ve experienced is worth it. Everything happens for a reason. 😇
I’ve been watching you since last year when I decided to have my Study in Canada. For me to be equipped once I get there, I watched all of your videos and it helps me a lot. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge. I love your videos because I love the way you explain all of your content comparing to others 😅✌️
I’ll continue supporting you as you go on to your journey. God bless ate! 😊

Currently in the document-collection phase! This made me so happy and gave me hope. Congrats! :)
I am glad it gave you motivation and hope to continue.
I got my permanent stay in Canada when I started trading Bitcoin which profited me with a lot of money that helped me made it through
A friend suggested i should invest for the long haul, i shouldn't get too greedy and don't get too scared, but the problem is that i don't really have any clue on investing.
Anyone who is not investing now is missing a great opportunity, i really fear for a future without an investment. It's just like a hopeless future
@@ritasarah9339 Investing in Bitcoin is the best investment any one can do this year 2020, especially with the current rise
Wise spending is part of wise investing. And it’s never too late to start.
I never taught I could make it this far in Bitcoin all thanks to Kathleen Anne Grace
Omg congratulations! This made me tear up. I am waiting on mine. Fingers crossed, it will be here in a couple of weeks. So happy for you!
Thank you. I hope yours comes soon as well. Best of luck 🤞
Congratulations, Rachel! Thanks for sharing your journey. The part on periodically requesting GCMS notes is very interesting!
Oh my god how can you talk so calmly??? I cannot do this consistently. So happy for you!
Hi Reyvan,
Maybe I am just a calm person. Who knows. But, thank you very much for your comment !!!! 😊
@@rrdancel I’m working on my ECA at the moment. This video is making me excited 😅
Wow great to hear! My US residency/ Greencard didn’t come in till about two years after I applied as a naturalized citizen & had been working here for 4 years.
Thats quite the wait. Good on you for being patient.
I’m on process for lodging my student permit hopefully next month. I just subscribed to your channel last night and binge watching your vids esp the case studies as they are very informative and the way you deliver is so engaging. Tapos ngayon PR ka na. galing 🎉🎉🎉 I pray for the strength on my journey as well. 🤞🏼

Thank you for sharing! This gives me the little push I was needing ☺️
I got my study permit this week. I am very sure that it would not have been possible without watching all your content
I have the exact same PR process journey as you except I have stayed in Canada for 7 years and my three-years work permit was expired before I was invited.
Awwww thank you for sharing your story on my channel. This is really helpful for my viewers to paint a picture of immigration to Canada. 🥺 Some people take longer, some people get it sooner but either way, it’s a milestone worth celebrating! 🥳☺️🥰 Very proud of you for your perseverance and I’m happy we both got what we wanted in the end. Enjoy your new adventure in Canada and hope for more successes in your journey🇨🇦💗
