Me, who uses drones for real estate work and landscape photos: "ooh a 50 kg spreading payload, that's pretty good"
Takes 2 minutes to spray a home lawn. 🙂
And the nozzle supports 100kg/min spray rate.
Me: "huh, but why"
Spray rate of up to 24 litres per minute…so 90 seconds fly time…..

@@timyeomanify i did the tedious jobo of going through their website and under absolutely optimal circumstances it can fly with a full load for up to 25 minutes.
but the 9 minute charging does make up for that i think
I almost spit coffee on my keyboard when I heard 9 minute fast charging.
Well it'll spray its full capacity in like 2 minutes. So it probably doesn't need to fly too long
@@ChevTecGroup but it can probably be programmed to selfcollect water-spray-collect then charge itsself and do it once again and again without human interference. Marvelous machine
And I was amazed at how it has an AESA radar on board. Absolutely insane.
Farmers in the Midwest are gonna LOVE this.
Can confirm... we run 8,000 acres of corn and soybeans in the midwest. We had a company come with 3 of these and the sound they make is frighting when they are all flying in unison. The drones will talk to each other so they dont spray the same spot twice and when one is getting refill the others will continue and vise versa.
@@crandonborth Oh I already know. I live in Illinois. More corn than anything lol but yeah these things work magic.
@@crandonborth China also has a lot of such companies or family busnesses. One or two family members with a few drones doing agriculture spray work with high efficiency.
@@crandonborth you sprayed 8000 acres with 3 of these? lol how many weeks??? 3 of the T50s would only do ~ 70 acres per day (~180 hectares)....
@@beardedbarnstormer9577 looks like these things can do 50 acres an hour, so 3 of these doing 8 hour days is a of spraying for 8000 acres.
The technology packed in this drone is just stunning: obsticle avoidance, altitute control in steep terrain. Just unbelievable!
The T-40's terrain following was terrible. The RADAR on the landing gear will fix that, bringing it back to at least the standard of the T-30

@@RCCopterLove-helis4ever If the mini 4 pro’s obstacle avoidance and autonomous flight modes are anything to go by then I would say DJI is doing very well already.
This is a solid improvement, particularly with the 40+kg capacity. This drone will be a boon for granular insecticides application against mosquito larvae - something we mosquito people really do need. Well done DJI!

DJI is crazy! I've never seen a company execute so well in my life.
And the FAA is doing everything they can to make it harder and harder to use their drones in USA.

I'm interested in seeing an adaptation of this for wildland firefighting and if a system could be used to assist in extinguishing spot fires or be used with phos-chek.

50kg capacity but flow rate of 108 kg/min? Am I reading that right? It empties in 30 seconds or so and then has to refill? Needs a station like other DJI products to act as an automated refill station for the hopper

With the max spraying speed of 24l with a 40l tank, you have to refill it every few minutes. Is the refilling process fast?

Because Agras T50 and Agras T25 are not new DJI products. These drones were released in China in 2023.

could easily used for fire fighting as well, I think with a handful of those in capable hands would be useful for controling a fire in a small area to stop it from becoming out of control.
you need to come with a residential version of this for home properties of around an acre or so!
