Yes! That is a great starter car, low consumables and will teach momentum with smooth inputs. Fantastic choice to get going...i must warn you - things can escalate quickly. :)
it would be interesting to see if switching to slick tires with exact configuration of front(255) /Rear(315) instead of default 245(Front)/295(Rear).
Im on Hoosier R7's with 265 front/ 305 rears. 315's would rub from what I understand.

Gt4rs is a great car bit it's inferior to a gt3 on track..... (with equal drivers)

That looked intense. Not sure which brakes you have on your GTS but from the camera’s POV nothing was going to feel adequate going from 150 to slow-enough to make some of those turns.
I can often hang with the GT3’s in my GT4. It’s the darned heavily modded Corvettes with far more power and torque that open up big gaps out of the corners on the straights. Can’t keep up there. Found the same against a pro team running Lambo Huracans.
