She did not grow up with much. She is entirely self made. Every time she got knocked down she used the rubble to build herself up even taller than before. I will never feel jealous of her success, when I see someone like her purchase and create a home like this it is absolutely lovely to see someone treat themselves as they deserve to.
Now I really want to hear her story she seems so nice and I too would pay 10 million for that house if I had money lol. View is amazing and just so calming. ❤️
I think it's because she did not grow up wealthy. She didn't even do good in school and only did slightly better in college. You can tell she became successful because she is good with people and people can sense the honesty and no non-sense demeanor. A type of professionalism that comes from being a successful real estate agent. Simple properties can be as charming if not more so in some ways than mega mansions.
She reminds so so much of my mom. The hair, being teeny tiny, a big heart always helping others, her mannerisms and style. My moms first name is Barbara also 😊❤ I have never seen her out side shark tank, so this was just a wonderful treat.
She's the best boss. She had a go-shopping day with her staff (mostly chics) where they could buy one item at a store regardless of cost. One staff had a pair of high heels. Barbs asked her how much. Staff said $500. She said to get another pair. That's too cheap! Niccce.

@@mmb659 the property is worth 800k home /trailer maybe 80k . beach front goes for big money here in hawaii a beach front lot will run you 3.5 million no home and that is a small lot
Honestly I lived in a trailer in a trailer park in a really nice suburb w/ a gorgeous pool and gym and it was safe for my kids to run all over the place since no main roads were close by. We had a decent size yard, the homes were spaced out really nicely. It was obviously no where near this nice. It was only a single wide literally built in 1976 but the previous owners had remodeled some and kept it up well. I paid like $8k free n clear for the whole thing w/ no mortgage, and $350 a month for my lot rent at that time (around 2014-2018) All the updates I did myself, I literally just watched UA-cam videos and got to work! Then in 2018 I sold it for $12.5k!!! I never dreamed I’d make money on a trailer but when they are that old/purchased used it actually doesn’t decrease in value much. Plus my updated helped aesthetically, and I did a lot to add curb appeal. I planned on being there a lot longer than I was. I loved pouring my heart into projects and landscaping in my yard, we had a corner lot which was the biggest. we also got a really large shed for storage and our lawn mower. I wish I would have been able to just stay there forever. Eventually move to a newer trailer possibly but stayed in the park for sure! But we moved into a big 3 bedroom 2 story house farm house with over 3 acre yard and small barn. It was a mansion in comparison to the little trailer. We only had 2 bed rms in our trailer and I have a 12 yr old daughter and a 6 yr old son. So I gave them separate bed rooms and I had no bedroom. I slept either w/ one of my kids or on the couch which got really old after 4yrs. My son didn’t mind mom crashing on the top bunk but I knew that would change in a couple years at best. lol And so when I started making a little more money, I went and got the big fancy farmhouse real “house”……thinking I needed to keep up with what appeared successful to my stuck up extended family and parents. They hated I lived at a trailer park 🙄 so I mistakenly made the decision to upgrade and didn’t even consider what I personally really needed/wanted. I wish I had the self respect and wisdom I have now days back then. I’d do whatever made me happy instead or what was traditionally considered “successful”. I should have just added a small bedroom to my trailer (the park allowed additions) or just waited and purchased a 3 bedroom trailer in the same park when one came up for sale in my price range. Smh hindsight is 20/20. Looking back i regret moving at all. And i really wanted to move back when I saw how much more $$$ I was spending monthly. I went from zero worry of how I’d pay the bills to constantly stressing about it. It was not worth it. I went from like $800-1k a month in total combined expenses……to over $3-3.5k a month in combined expenses. Ugh all to have a bedroom and more closet space smh…… cLife’s so simple there. And they had a really nice pool we used daily! Edit: since so many people are upset I’ll explain more….I have children I raise alone. I owned the trailer house free n clear I paid for our lot monthly. That was about 4 years ago. We moved because my kids became teens and they are a boy and a girl so shared bedrooms wasn’t ideal. I had worked hard to afford something a lot bigger and with a lot of land to do fun stuff while they did middle/high school. Now my oldest is grown and my sons not too far behind. So I’m looking to downsize and will be thrilled to not pay so much. However, the park I was at the lot rents still only $425 monthly…..But I have yet to find a trailer in what I’d consider a reasonable price range. It’s very different than when I was looking 4 years ago. Nothing under $30k rt now. I’d need it to be pretty awesome for me to spend that on something like that. I’d rather pour that kind of money into a real house purchase. I’m also not a regular person and I am considering buying a van and traveling once both kids leave and waiting for a better time to buy. Anyway, hope that calms down everyone making such harsh judgments on a strangers life choices like I choose to build a m3th lab instead of living in a house I owned. Good gravy. And if ur straight rude I deleted ur comments. ☮️
@@familylifetoo9541 exactly! I wanted to give my kids a big house/a yard, their own bedrooms etc. But once we moved in the pressure of bills and rent and the HUGE YARDS maintenance was just so on me as a single mom it was kind of overwhelming after only paying $350 lot rent and $400 in gas/water/electricity and such. My rent alone went from $350 to $1500 n now it’s $2100. Insane for a house that’s 120 years old. I only have 1 child left who’s still a minor, but once he’s 18 I’m ending my lease and either moving back to the fancy trailer park (they just did a full remodel too and it’s gorgeous w/ 2 Olympic sz swimming pools free to use 7 days a week!!) or buying a camper van or something like that to traveling the country. And not have any technical house! I was a single mom my entire adult life since 19. I’m 40 now. And So I’m ready to cut all the extra bs and the financial stress of life. It’s time to do what makes ME happy for once obviously when my kids are adults and all good. I told them they are welcome to join me if they want but if anyone does it’ll be in tight quarters 😂 and they’ll have to find a remote job or something to help financially! Mamas about to TRAVEL BABY! It’s absurd we spend 3/4 our income in rent, it’s like working to throw ur $ away!!! Trailer parks need to get a better rebrand cuz it’s honestly the best life!!!💙🧿🦋

@maryclark6661 it's an amazing mobile home park, it's truly on a very beautiful section of beach. If she only paid 800,000, she got an incredible deal! @@oranjmusemeyer968 interesting yea I wouldn’t think a mobile home park would be a place a high profile person would stay but I guess when you get a great view and can afford to sink your money into a well structured home, it doesn’t matter what kind of style of home it is.
@@oranjmusemeyer968 also yea it looks like it’s off the beaten path. This is Paradise Cove, Malibu. It's the same place where Jim Rockford had that dumpy trailer on "The Rockford Files" back in the 1970's. A lot of celebrities have mobile homes there, the ones who can't afford $20 million Malibu homes yet.

I got to serve her once when she was flying in through LAS airport. I’m not one to bother celebs for pics but she stopped with every person that asked. I offered to wrap up her food to go since the small restaurant I worked didn’t have much space to give her privacy. She just smiled and said she’s fine and generously tipped me at the end. Best celebrity I’ve ever met.
I love the humility and simplicity of her home, despite her net worth. It’s all the essentials, done with style. The only reason I don’t live in a trailer myself is the hurricane season we endure every year in the south. Love her home. 🔥👏🏼👍🏼❤️🔥

Retiring 3 years ago, I decided to move back to AZ after living in Nor Cal for 45 years. In 2004 purchased a small 875 sq ft condo in SJ. Real estate went ballistic in 2018 and time to make a profit! A 200k+ gain gave me some working capitol for a new home. After diligently scourging the AZ housing market, found a wonderful 1850 Sq ft 2br/2 ba with a MILLION DOLLAR unobstructed view of nearby Mingus Mountain in Central AZ--Cottonwood. At 120k and another 65k in new upgrades, I have a DREAM house fully paid(Manufactured/mobile....yes monthly $700 lease! OK. Taxes here $300/yr--Cali taxes are 11K YEAR NOW!).
True ! It's the simple life. Little overhead and invite people when you want but also less clean up because it's tiny.
Trailer parks need to get a better rebrand cuz it’s honestly the best life!!!💙🧿🦋
@@MamaRobynR. You went from renting to renting? It’s time to grow up.
You messed up. Better to have money than worry about it
Same here old remodel mobile home we both 5000 it’s beautiful no payments by a beautiful river and landscaping is amazing 200 a month lot rent a beautiful park spaced good apart
Location, location, location! Right, Barbara?
Love your doublewide….less is more ! Enjoy every minute of your great home with terrific views!
It’s small but for an older single woman it’s the perfect size
@maryclark6661 it's an amazing mobile home park, it's truly on a very beautiful section of beach. If she only paid 800,000, she got an incredible deal! I have seen some sell for almost 2 million and only one bedroom! Several Hollywood stars have homes in that mobile home park too! It's kinda a little secret place.
I used to live 2 miles from the beach but it was where the tourists were and my mother has social anxiety so we would always go to the end of the beach where you didn’t have to worry about getting a spot and he view was just breath taking so I get that. Sometimes you have to out of your way to get a little privacy but still a great view.
She's rich but so relatable. Down to earth, easy to have a conversation with.
How hilarious! "By thirty you should be cleaner than this!" 😂😂😂😂 I'll pass.....
I absolutely LOVE you and Barbara together! You two crack me up! I hope you both stay friends with each other forever and you get to go visit her in CA!
She has the vibe of either a Mom or grandmother. Not bossy or entitled but more “Can you please be a dear and…” 😂
She is so adorable and so savvy at the same time. Love her to pieces🧡
Barbara needs her own show! Great work as usual, man!
I completely agree! She keeps it real! ❤️
She’s so fun & seems grounded! I love her personality. Great episode!
Loved Barbara’s energy, she’s adorable . I just love this beach home. It’s stunning....a little piece of Heaven.
Barbara, you’re simply awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video, and I couldn’t help it, but I was smiling throughout. My heart loved it. 💕
And a Big thank you to all who made this possible! You guys are awesome too!
I have always loved Barbara! She is tough, but fair and super smart, she has really earned her own way to success and she is just awesome and such an inspiration. I love that place and it definitely has a million dollar view and she is so funny!!
Oh my lord! I live in Australia & until I watched the New York video of Barbara Corcoran, I was clueless. She is amazing, as are all the tours of each person's apartment. Thank you, I'm hooked.
I admire her so much....she's a go-getter, kind, has realistic expectations of herself and others, and has a sense of humor to top it all off.
She is just too cute! I love how down to earth she is.
Absolutely beautiful home and omg Barbara your such hoot I couldn’t stop giggling thanks for the tour and laughs. Sure is a gorgeous view from your lovely deck 💗
"you're* such a* hoot" is the expression
@@ericmharper thank you for pointing out my mistake I did indeed notice it myself after posting comment but figured most people would understand what I meant to say so decided not to edit comment.
@@kellyjeannairneI knew whatcha meant! Why sweat the small stuff?👍😁
I always love when he gets a Barbara tour. She’s the best.
I love her personality! She’s seems super open to the universe! 😊! She’s engaging, funny, and very young spirited!
Barbaras pit stop. A place for friends to stay 😂. She'd certainly have some extravagant homes.
Little ones are spitfires!
This is Paradise Cove, Malibu. It's the same place where Jim Rockford had that dumpy trailer on "The Rockford Files" back in the 1970's. A lot of celebrities have mobile homes there, the ones who can't afford $20 million Malibu homes yet.
No, it's not. Paradise Cove is exactly that, a *cove*. And no, I'm not telling you where it actually is. The woman let you see her home. Let her at least have her address/location in peace. 😒
@@KundakStuffyou can literally see the trailer park from pacific coast hwy.. it’s right by the beach it’s not necessarily a hidden or secret place
@@imthel0rd Not saying otherwise. Still don't need to call it out.
‘By 30 u should be cleaner than this’ truer words have never been spoken lol. She’s a real one 💯.
I loved see her be so real. Loved the bungalow mobile home at the beach. What a makeover, It’s a real gem!
I love Barbara. Hands down my favorite on the Shark Tank. She’s so empathetic. So real. You can just tell how cool she is.
I knew I liked her. The fact that she likes what she likes type of attitude, I am here for it. I don't care if I am a millionaire a nice place is a nice place whether its a mobile home or a penthouse. I am going to put my money where I want, and it just makes sense. Got to love this duo!
Omg she's adorable and funny as hell, I have no idea who she is but her taking that photo , I died ,lol
Mobile homes are about to skyrocket now that rich people are buying them.
She seems so down to earth, love that she re used her NYC apartment tiles
I just love her! Thank you for making this video and I'm happy she was open to it. Beautiful home and view indeed.
This was great!!! LOVE BARBARA! And this was much more interesting then your usual interactions.
“All I have is wine in here”.. *slams fridge shut*. 😂
My favorite Shark 💙🦈
She lives practically in a modest and beautiful home. Good for her.
It’s only one of her properties 😂
Yall falling for an obvious PR piece is insane. the house is spotless and obviously not lived in
Modest people have a million dollar trailer ? My god some of you!
I love this lady. The way she speaks and her tone idk what it is but i could listen or watch her in anything.
For her to live this simple life with all the money that she has makes me just love her all the more.😊
Lol this was great! Too cute she had a chore waiting for you guys. 😆 that was awesome
I really love her, she's very real.
I love the humility and simplicity of her home, despite her net worth. It’s all the essentials, done with style.
The only reason I don’t live in a trailer myself is the hurricane season we endure every year in the south. Love her home.
🔥👏🏼👍🏼❤️🔥
I love this woman. She’s so genuine, funny, and cute. Not to mention a financial and business genius.
Loved that doorless half bedroom. Worth foregoing hanky panky for!
I love this dreamy beach home! This is exactly how and where I would like to live my life! Barbara your kindness to the previous owner is heartwarming. 💕
How did she get an $800/mo lot rent?! Those beach parks usually charge $3-5K/mo just for the land lease.
She probably cut a deal and gave an opportunity to the land owner. She wins in the end. That’s why she’s where she’s at
@@DJ-769Im in sales. I found this comment interesting. Out of curiosity what do you think makes a difference between highly skilled like her and a regular sales person?
I literally watched this because of Barbara on your other segment. I just fell in love with her personality. Collaboration is a good thing 👍🏾 😊
I've always admired Barbara. This video showed her real side, fun, happy, laughing. So glad she is enjoying her home. 🏠🏠⛱️
Y'all just made me love 💗 Barbara even more. She's so down to earth 🌎 genuine authentic ❤

This was so pure. I absolutely loved it!❤
Barbara has always been my favorite shark. She always seemed to have a good heart, even when she was out. I loved seeing her home and her enthusiasm for it!
In Cali, 1.5M+ will NOT get you what I was fortunate to find!
You can tell Barbara really started from the bottom. She was the realest on shark tank
“By 30 you should be a lot cleaner than this…” 🤣😂🤣😂
Savage truth there, Caleb.
Grooming really does matter!
