I love how realistic your 'what I eat in a day" videos are. I have way too many nights where I throw in random components of what I have in the fridge to make my meal and at first it seems ok but halfway through eating I'm just like bleehhhh and I don't like it! And it's always the meals where I make way too big of portions and don't want to eat the leftovers either lol
I don't normally leave comments but I have to right now. I have been a subscriber for 6 months now and have just hit 1 month of being vegan. You and John changed the "it's too hard" thing I've been telling myself for years. I always wanted to become vegan but said I loved cheese and fish too much but after you linked to the unnatural vegan's channel and about animal cruelty I thought "that's it I'm done". You have inspired me to change my way of thinking and stop making excuses. I was bulimic for 7 years and recovering from that I always thought I would never be able to eat vegan or even healthy as a carnivore. Once again, you changed that thought process too. I am now one month in feeling amazing, loving the food I'm eating, losing weight, feeling more energized, and have not once thought about falling off(that's huge for me). I love you I will always watch your videos. Thank you for changing my life hopefully forever.
I love how you are an actual reasonable human being and don't pretend to bound out of bed at 6am bursting with energy and ready to take on the day. 9am being "early" is my kind of day, especially since I stay up till 1 or 2am. No freaking way am I getting up at 6am. Love the realness!

you should try putting the kernels in a brown paper bag, fold it and microwave for like 2 mins. it always works for me and i dont add any oil. i once tried stove top and it burned terribly
Oats flour or oats! I use a cup of oats , ripe banana , and a cup of almond milk and in the blender! Also have a huge pan so I make like 5 cakes at a time haha. Me and my son like pancakes every morning 😉

Your dinner is like mine yesterday! I leave for a trip soon and I tried to use up everything I have but it just was not satisfying! I like the idea though of using a soup for a sauce or binding for rices and grains!

Popcorn and watermelon are everything I've been craving lately 🍉🌽 I'm not sure you know this but here's a quick tip for the perfect popcorn, to make sure your oil is hot enough to pop almost every corn kernel throw in about five kernels at fist then cover with the lid, once they pop you throw in the rest, also before throwing anything in you can sprinkle sea salt on the pan, that helps too 😊

i have an egg allergy and that egg replacer used to be so hard to find omg, every time we found it we would buy it even if we didnt need it. nice to see its more readily available.

I make a lot of popcorn and I've experienced this before as well. A thing I started to do is I would put the oil in the pan with two kernels and let it heat up, once the kernels pop, I know that the oil is hot enough and pour the rest of my kernels in and shake them around every now and then. They start to pop a lot faster since the oil is heated up and as long as you keep moving them they shouldn't burn, even if they end up being older kernels. Again, every stove is different so it may vary, but this has always helped me when popping popcorn on the stove. ;)
If you guys made a cookbook and every recipe in it was already on your blog I would still buy it because I'd have a hot for food cookbook, which would be rad, and because it would support you guys and support all the work you put into hot for food UA-cam videos and ensure that you're able to make more! I think so many of your subscribers would agree with this.
