I think, I literally just watched all of your "What I Ate In A Day" videos. You're doing it in a nice way, it's not one of those "extra filmed" and "pretty" videos, it's just a simple food vlog. I like it that way a lot more! Thanks for making these videos :* I also love your ideas for all the dishes and I'm impressed how easly you can make a new dish out of some leftovers. Amazing!
+Hayyleyy C have you tried making it yourself? if you've ever fried anything, tempura is not that hard. or bake them. just use a vegan egg replacer like flax egg.
I feel your pain with the morning allergies. Something that's helped me a bunch is eating a pear in the morning! I always wake up with a runny nose and puffy eyes and a pear knocks it out. Thanks for all the inspiring videos! Since watching you the way I cook has changed to be a lot more creative and improvise more! I've also tried so many of your recipes out on my non-vegan friends and they're always blown away. Re-watching so hope you see this!
Those tortillas are so good heated up straight on the burner. Have you ever heated them up that way? They add a nice toasty flavor which I love! Your bento box looked delish.
That was a dope breakfast, a bomb sushi place which we will try out cause a lot of sushi places are crap and where did you get those chocolate almonds? It's been such a struggle to find some without milk X( GREAT VID, THANKS!
A high quality probiotic (bio kult) and fermented foods really helped with my allergies and food sensitivities. And I've tried every supplement as well as a neti pot everyday (somewhat helpful). Your microbiodome health affects everything! You might experience die-off from the probiotics if you start off with too much at once.
Hey Lauren. I'm vegan and I just found your channels recently and I'm in love. You've given me the courage and inspiration to start cooking. Now for my questions, do you have any suggestions on storing spices? I've seen that you keep them in glass containers mostly and I was wondering how you keep track of what is what. Also, do you recommend any specific containers for any spices or dry ingredients?
What I've been doing for the past 2 years is taking my allergy meds BEFORE I get symptoms...as soon as it starts getting warm, the trees start blooming, and I start smelling pollen around mid to late April I start taking Claritin once a day. To me it's almost as if it's inhibiting the allergies before they can really set in. Idk if there's any scientific basis behind this but it's been working. Of course it's not fool proof, but it has lowered alot of my previous allergies - itchy eyes, runny noses, hay fever. I also avoid trees and flowers like the plague during high pollen count days and go so far as to hold my breath or cover my nose and mouth when I pass them outside. I've also heard people tell me eating organic or local honey is also good? I've never tried it or attempted to buy the honey at my local farmer's market, but my friend told me it worked for him.
"we're not gonna stand here and eat" *eats more then half of the taco before she sits down* I was cracking up over this, this is literally me every single night when I make dinner and my foods too good to stop eating it and walk to sit down and eat it hahahaha.
I used Homeocan pollen plus product once a week for 6 weeks before allergy season this year and this is the first year I'm not struggling with allergies. Not sure if it's the product, but worth a try.
Hi lauren, I have the same problem as you with the itchiness. Try putting cold wet paper towel on your eyes and it usually stops the itchiness for a while. I recommend, not going out side hahah... jk... kinda... but change your pillow cases every night if you open your bed room window in the day time, because the pollen gets into your pillow case and then you itch your eyes when you sleep.... Also shower when you get home and before you get into bed because you want to get the pollen off. I also wear glasses outside all the time. it prevents the pollen from getting into your eyes and you hides your eyes from the world so you don't scare people. This is really bad to do but turn the A/C on at home so it filters the pollen out of your home... Also if your allergies are really bad try putting used/wet camomile tea bags on your eyes for a while, my eastern European grandma recommends it. She says it heals all... But I think it only brings the buffyness down... and the itchiness stops because you can't itch it because you have the tea bags on your eyes.... Good luck, Hope this season isn't bad for you !
if you're eyes are as bad like in this video try really cold water splashing in you're eyes and hold them open while you splash the water. it really helps me with my allergies if I have no eyedrops. and for the nose you can take a bowl of cooking water with a lot of (sea)salt and then breathe the steam (is it right?) in through the nose and out through the mouth. hope that helps you 😘 sorry for my bad englisch, I'm from Germany and never told to anyone about allergies in englisch 😂
My cat had kittens(4) (accident) and they are 6 weeks old (little monsters) they are all sitting in my lap while I watch upon my iPad, they are so interested and EVERYTIME they see your food they hit the screen. They love you! They also calm down when they hear your voice!!
Hey Lauren have you tried having a spoonful or two of local honey every day? Since the honey is local, its made with local pollen and can build up your immunity to local allergies
Hey Lauren, heads up when your eyes are itching that bad... Put a cold wet rag on your eyes... It helps so very much... The colder the better... I do it all the time and it helps almost imeditetly.
I get the worst sinus headaches along with the itchiness around my eyes. The only thing that helps is boiling eucalyptus in water and then with a towel over my head I just steam my face with it. It clears everything out!
I don't really eat that much either, I mean similar to you. And you got me hooked on popcorn--it was like I had totally forgotten about popcorn and realized or re-realized? that it's vegan. I have it pretty much every day.
I was watching a Degrassi cast interview. I was really surprised I thought you were just a good blogger. Is Eric Osborne a magical creature of a human 😭 I love him so much.
this may sound weird but use a tea kettle as a netty pot! it works just as good, its weird and kinda gross but it works. just wash it real good before and after :P
I have SEVERE allergies and I take a liquid calcium magnesium citrate supplement (I use the brand solgar) and that helps a bit. I've also been trying turmeric tea, which also helps just a bit. in addition I take fexofenadine which SERIOUSLY reduces my symptoms. I know taking drugs sucks but it's better than feeling like shit. hope this helped

was the tempura vegan? all the sushi places in my area usually bread it using eggs
I work in a non-vegan Chinese/sushi place and our tempura is vegan
+Ruthie Swafford that's so lucky! I miss tempura but all the sushi places around me use egg :/
+Hayyleyy C have you tried making it yourself? if you've ever fried anything, tempura is not that hard. or bake them. just use a vegan egg replacer like flax egg.
+Michelle Miyazato that's true! I'll deffinately try it out
+Michelle Miyazato or non-dairy milk for the egg? i know some dredging processes use milk instead of egg.
I feel your pain with the morning allergies. Something that's helped me a bunch is eating a pear in the morning! I always wake up with a runny nose and puffy eyes and a pear knocks it out.

Lauren always hands John things and he never takes it!! It irks me lol
Those tortillas are so good heated up straight on the burner. Have you ever heated them up that way? They add a nice toasty flavor which I love! Your bento box looked delish.

When I click on your "What I ate in a day" videos, a part of me is so excited to hear the background music. =D
Lauren what kind of knife do you use? I need to get a new chefs knife and wondered which one you like. Love your videos!!
What kinds of sushi were in your bento box? Looked amazing!
was that tempura batter on your sushi? I read online there is egg in that
YAS :) thanks Lauren I can now try this sushi restaurant near my area.
Have you been to Zen Garden?
Is the tempura fry like that from your dinner? I've always been under the impression that it's egg washed. I'm curious bc I used to love it.
I loveeee how you make an amazing meal with leftovers - so creative! It's like you have the right leftovers just in time 😉😉 xx
I really love that you do your videos so natural and realistic. You're so beautiful and I love your videos.
Your shots are so good! & same for the food (:
"those tofu bacon bits" "I know man" they're honestly couple goals 😂

Do you have the recipe up for the tofu bacon?
Lauren I suggest getting a mango avocado roll with brown or black rice!
LOL How John eats out of the pan when he has a plate of food ready for him :P My boyfriend always does the same thing...
"we're not gonna stand here and eat"
*eats more then half of the taco before she sits down*
I was cracking up over this, this is literally me every single night when I make dinner and my foods too good to stop eating it and walk to sit down and eat it hahahaha.
Let's get her to 100.000 subs!
You are so close to 100,000!!!! Yay yay yay
YAYY been waiting for this!
when i get congested and what not i literally load up on vitamin c, like every meal/snack has tons of vitamin C rich foods and it woks like a charm
Do you have to ask if the tempura in sushi places is vegan? I've always avoided it because I wasn't sure exactly what it is made of. Looks delicious!!
Hi Lauren, I love tempura but I thought that there was egg in the batter. Does it differ from place to place? Thanks.
When going out and making videos, do you use the dslr camera or just use your phone? Curious for when I start making my own videos
Are you going to VegFest in Toronto this year?
that breakfast looked so yummy. What are your thoughts on eating salt free, oil free and fat free?
Lauren saying "why are you touching that?" reminds me so much of me and my boyfriend in the kitchen when i cook hahaha
LAAAAAURENNNNN HAAAAAY! (: I hope your allergies get better. I love allllllllll your videos!
I used Homeocan pollen plus product once a week for 6 weeks before allergy season this year and this is the first year I'm not struggling with allergies. Not sure if it's the product, but worth a try.

Thanks for motivating me to eat better & have better food discipline!
Any meet ups in Portland?
I'm curious too, I live in Portland :)

This is all my kin of food. I feel this way of eating normalises veganism and no pressure to avoid all fats, gluten, and oils.

yes I noticed some mistakes by myself but don't want to write the whole thing again 🙆
John is so cute :) I love it when the couple live vegan together, being the positive change in the world
This is so cute, that's how I eat on Sunday's as well, usually two big meals and nothing else
My cat had kittens(4) (accident) and they are 6 weeks old (little monsters) they are all sitting in my lap while I watch upon my iPad, they are so interested and EVERYTIME they see your food they hit the screen. They love you! They also calm down when they hear your voice!!
AWWWWW SO CUUUUUUTTTTE!
you can find Neti pots at Saje Natural Wellness at any mall, like square one or Eaton centre
pink ginger is dyed with a kind of plant which i don't know in english. it's not bad for you i think
o.0 at the sushi place what were those things with the sauce on them ?
I live near Portland!!! What places are you going to hit up?
Nettles is great! I get at my local natural food store.
Hey Lauren have you tried having a spoonful or two of local honey every day? Since the honey is local, its made with local pollen and can build up your immunity to local allergies
Honey is not vegan
Oh wow.... I guess it wouldn't be (I guess that shows how little I know about being vegan) My bad!
You can find the Neti pot under "hydraSense NetiRinse 2-in-1 Nasal and Sinus Irrigation Kit" on Amazon Canada.
It was the highest rated option.
You gotta use a netti pot, it helps soooo much! Try Amazon :)
try acupuncture! i know it sounds waaaay out there but it really helps for me.
Hey Lauren, heads up when your eyes are itching that bad... Put a cold wet rag on your eyes... It helps so very much... The colder the better... I do it all the time and it helps almost imeditetly.

Oh my gosh the sushi looked so good!
Love you Lauren!
Are you going to the vegan food/beer festival this weekend in Portland????
yep, pretty sure she is
What part of Mississauga is that sushi place. Lol I live in Mississauga 👌🏼
I don't really eat that much either, I mean similar to you. And you got me hooked on popcorn--it was like I had totally forgotten about popcorn and realized or re-realized? that it's vegan. I have it pretty much every day.
LOL i loved the coffee banter that was great
Nettle leaf! I was skeptical but it works super fast for me, especially on my eyes 😊 They make great vegan capsules.
I was watching a Degrassi cast interview. I was really surprised I thought you were just a good blogger. Is Eric Osborne a magical creature of a human 😭 I love him so much.
he's pretty cute ;) I LVE DEGRASSI
you can usually find a neti pot in the allergy section of Walmart. Most of the time it's a plastic pot.
Try acupuncture for your allergies!!! Neti pot works wonders though!!!
You're so close to 100k! :D
I live in Portland!! Try portobello on division st. All vegan and amazing italian food.
Can you use local bee pollen or is that considered non vegan? Might help allergies a lot!
I live in Portland!!!! Grr love to meet you!
ARE YOU STILL IN PORTLAND??? I WANNA MEET YOU!
we leave on Thursday :D
Are you guys going to the rose festival?
+Lauren Toyota I live in Portland! Have a meet up!!!:)
