I don't know what is so satisfying about watching Lauren eat ! 😂 but I love these videos !! I wish you could cook for me everyday ! I made my first veggie burger today and even my teenage brother loved it !! 😍 thank you I really hope I will commit to be vegan soon x
Aw I am new to your channel, but have come to love your videos. I love how unapologetically you are about what you do. You don't dress it up. I am a food blogger as well & am from the Buffalo area, so when you mentioned that it made so happy! Love that you are sticking to your Toronto roots.
I have been binge-watching your videos the last full days. Great meal ideas, amazing video quality, and awesome human-quality :) Thanks for doing what you do!
I know that with some shredded cheeses they coat them in flour to keep them in shredded form, I'm not sure if Daiya does or not but that could be what bothers you? BTW, I love your videos! I just found your channels the other day and I've been watching them in between writing my Final Essay for the end of the semester haha.
I don't really eat yogurt unless I buy it forsomething specific orunless it is on sale but I find the so delicious brand coconut based yogurts the bestest. If you like yoso I guarantee you will like so delicious. Just thought I would share in case you didn't know.
Lauren Toyota interesting! I have never tried the yoso unsweetened so I might have to give it another shot. Last time I had yoso actually was six years ago when I first went vegan. I never tried it again because I didn't like it but maybe it's changed since.
I love your videos a lot! You've given me new ideas on what to cook and everything looks delicious! & I'm vegan as well, and I have always been doubtful if oreos were vegan or not, because some people say that they are but some don't. And just recently I contacted the company and they told me oreos weren't vegan... but yet there's many websites that say there are, can you help me out?
+Karla Colula oh interesting. Is it in Canada? I feel like it differs from country to country. Perhaps I will also have to email and inquire! DANG I hope they're vegan in Canada at least :/
+Karla Colula hmmm I can't find anything on oreo's FAQ officially. I think I might email. But there is this reddit thread from 2014?! www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/2evzk0/oreos_official_statement_on_their_biscuit_not/
+Karla Colula hmm I dunno. This is one mysterious topic. These are the ingredients from the US and I can't find the Canadian ones online. I don't buy them ever so I don't have a package in front of me. Canada wouldn't contain high fructose corn syrup I know that! So as far as I can tell these are vegan friendly unless we're getting down to questioning the sugar and how it is processed SUGAR, UNBLEACHED ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE {VITAMIN B1}, RIBOFLAVIN {VITAMIN B2}, FOLIC ACID), HIGH OLEIC CANOLA AND/OR PALM AND/OR CANOLA OIL, COCOA (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI), HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, LEAVENING (BAKING SODA AND/OR CALCIUM PHOSPHATE), CORNSTARCH, SALT, SOY LECITHIN, VANILLIN--AN ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CHOCOLATE.
Im gonna share a little bit of my knowledge here ;) : they say drinking tea maintains the body temperature to a more tolerable level during hot days. Cf. nomadic people from the desert. Am I right ?
+Landen Mac Eww i hate when they're not ripe. I like the best when it first starts getting the spots. When it's almost mostly yellow and a little green, i at least wait a day.
+Lauren Toyota lol! i just googled it and I did find an article that said they used pork fat at one time but stopped for kosher reasons. My country however, tends to bring in some crappy food(LOL) so i'm gonna continue to side eye the oreos :( (or read the label )
👍🏼Thumbs UP👍We LOVE what I ate today (VEGAN) videos. Plus I can send newbies over to see the videos and they can get ideas and become and stay VEGAN Forever!!!!!!Ⓥ🐄🐖🐂🐷🐶🐑🐮🐓🐥🐤🐣🐔🐾😇Ⓥ
Most things say "may contain blah blah" just because there might be a little tiny micro piece of milk or whatever left in the machine. I just had Oreos and checked, and it doesn't even say may contain milk on the packaging so :)
+AudieJane they are vegan! but it depends if you'd like to be more pickier and not eat the foods that "may contain" non-vegan ingredients :) lauren's mentioned that she isn't one of those people
This is what I found. "White and milk chocolate covered Oreo biscuits are not suitable for vegetarians. Oreo is not suitable for Vegans as they have the cross contact of Milk. Sorry, the Oreo recipe contains wheat so Oreo is not suitable for a gluten-free diet. Oreo does not contain nuts or any traces of nuts. FAQ - Oreo" so I wouldn't risk it. But that's me..
Cross contact just means that the machines in the factory used for Oreos are used for products that contain milk as well, but they get cleaned in between uses, so no need to worry and avoid Oreos.
I feel like to be a healthier vegan who doesn't die or become a malnourished bean needs to like to cook baha because seriously it just seems like so much more work 😩 I wish it was easier to just only eat steam veggies fruit and nuts baha
+nally16728 It can be as simple or as complicated as you like. It's not harder than being a meat eater that cares about being reasonably healthy and cooks for themselves, and same there, you can keep it simple or go all out as well. Cooking big batches of beans, lentils, and grains to keep in the fridge or freeze in individual portions renders it easier than doing this as a meat-eater. :)
+Alyssa Walbridge she is not very big, doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot of high intensity exercises, I don;t see a problem. Each person has a different calorie need
I have no idea why I'm obsessed about watching videos of this girl eating. Yet I see video, I click, I watch.
+nybiggs :D
I don't know what is so satisfying about watching Lauren eat ! 😂 but I love these videos !! I wish you could cook for me everyday ! I made my first veggie burger today and even my teenage brother loved it !! 😍 thank you I really hope I will commit to be vegan soon x
+nybiggs yo man... me too she's just so funny and weird i love it

Same
I'm not vegan but I love hot for food and everything about your channel!

Start off slowly and see if you like it.
Ikr the aesthetic is just so interesting and different
Aw I am new to your channel, but have come to love your videos. I love how unapologetically you are about what you do. You don't dress it up. I am a food blogger as well & am from the Buffalo area, so when you mentioned that it made so happy! Love that you are sticking to your Toronto roots.
+FancyFl0wers thank YOU!!! nice to have another food blogger amongst us :D
I just love getting ideas on new recipes to try . her videos are awesome!
I am so obsessed with your "what I eat in a day" videos-I discovered your channel less than 24 hours ago and have already watched all 15!
+Em VanO
I have been binge-watching your videos the last full days. Great meal ideas, amazing video quality, and awesome human-quality :) Thanks for doing what you do!
I can't stop watching her what I eat videos. I'm not even vegan lol
I know that with some shredded cheeses they coat them in flour to keep them in shredded form, I'm not sure if Daiya does or not but that could be what bothers you? BTW, I love your videos! +aubreyjo89 well not real flour. It's gluten free. But usually i haven no problem with gluten! HEY get back to your final essay ;)
I don't really eat yogurt unless I buy it forsomething specific orunless it is on sale but I find the so delicious brand coconut based yogurts the bestest. If you like yoso I guarantee you will like so delicious. Just thought I would share in case you didn't know.
Rosemary Tamburini I've tried So Delicious and still prefer the Yoso Unsweetened. Tastes the most like real yogurt to me!
Lauren Toyota interesting! I have never tried the yoso unsweetened so I might have to give it another shot. Last time I had yoso actually was six years ago when I first went vegan. I never tried it again because I didn't like it but maybe it's changed since.
I love binge watching these.
i basically spent the day watching most of your WIEIAD videos and i have no regrets
+chelsea indie
Youre using an About Time blender bottle!!!! I adore that company! I just went Vegan a couple months ago and i need to try their vegan blend!
+Katie Petrick yes them or Vega is really good :)
Hey Lauren! How exactly do you make that lemon curd? I really want to make it thx!
There are actually a ton of vegan what I eat in a day, a ton! :) I absolutely love them, but you are fun to watch
Lauren, do you take any supplements as a Vegan?
Namat Obaidi I take liquid b12 sometimes but not everyday. And calcium when I remember, but I don't think I need to be taking it every day anyway.
I love your videos a lot! They vegan
I love how real you are! Own it :)
+Kara Baird
what I ate a day: boring food while watching these videos. I am craving so many of your recipes and leftovers haha
what is the lemon curd recipe ?
+Lauren Toyota how often do you go into Buffalo? I live just outside Buffalo. Have yet to go to Trader Joes. I will have to check it out.
keep making these! so much vegan inspiration :)
I prefer kind of green bananas too. Matter of fact, I like all fruit to be some what firm, otherwise I won't get it.
I am the same when you said that you like your bananas almost green. Idk, I don't like bananas to mushy
is is special vegan wine? or is your wine different in usa / canada?
+Gemma Richards I use barnivore.com to check if my wine, beer and liquor is vegan friendly.
Im gonna share a little bit of my knowledge here ;) : they say drinking tea maintains the body temperature to a more tolerable level during hot days. Cf. nomadic people from the desert. Am I right ?
I love that we have drank coffee from the same place. So weird but cool lol.
Dude. You're so epic.
Mackensey Smith that's sweet. haha thank you
Yay. I'm not the only one who hates eating ripe bananas .. LOL.
So gross
Same. I only like them when they like JUST turn yellow
lol same
+Landen Mac Eww i hate when they're not ripe. I like the best when it first starts getting the spots. When it's almost mostly yellow and a little green, i at least wait a day.
+Angy Olivier I cannot eat them when they have spots! Lol
Landen Mac Well they're better for baking when they're ripe or you can freeze it and throw it in a smoothie so that's the good thing.
are oreos really vegan? I feel like i've heard that they use some type of animal fat in the filling?? (to the google!)
they are! They used to have animal fat OR maybe in another country they still do... but I doubt it?
+Lauren Toyota lol! i just googled it and I did find an article that said they used pork fat at one time but stopped for kosher reasons.
My country however, tends to bring in some crappy food(LOL) so i'm gonna continue to side eye the oreos :(
(or read the label )
Actually I tried the chao cheese you showed in another video and that killed my stomach. The cheese was good shit though
Nice! Just found your channel today and loving your real-life style. No b***s about trying to be perfect or anything... :O)
Charles Bradley 😛
Lauren don't play me like this... You've mentioned being in Syracuse and buffalo now... COME TO ROCHESTER😭😭
Omg that kid is cute as
👍🏼Thumbs UP👍We LOVE what I ate today (VEGAN) videos. Plus I can send newbies over to see the videos and they can get ideas and become and stay VEGAN Forever!!!!!!Ⓥ🐄🐖🐂🐷🐶🐑🐮🐓🐥🐤🐣🐔🐾😇Ⓥ
I thought Oreos weren't vegan because they have cross contact with milk? That's what the website says anyway :(
Most things say "may contain blah blah" just because there might be a little tiny micro piece of milk or whatever left in the machine. I just had Oreos and checked, and it doesn't even say may contain milk on the packaging so :)
+AudieJane Oreos are definitely vegan
+AudieJane they are vegan! but it depends if you'd like to be more pickier and not eat the foods that "may contain" non-vegan ingredients :) lauren's mentioned that she isn't one of those people
Omg omg have you perfected it yet ??? We want lemon curd!! Lol jk take your thyme b
If vegan cheese bothers your stomach then why do you still eat it so much? Its included in a lot of your recipes
+Lulu F haha I dunno. I'm not entirely sure it is that that bothers my stomach. It's not every time!
But that's me..
the normal original oreos are vegan, not those milk chocolate covered ones.
Cross contact just means that the machines in the factory used for Oreos are used for products that contain milk as well, but they get cleaned in between uses, so no need to worry and avoid Oreos.

wow thats like barely any food, especially for a vegan diet
Maybe it was that kind of day
+Alyssa Walbridge she is not very big, doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot of high intensity exercises, I don;t see a problem. Each person has a different calorie need
+Alyssa Walbridge Never had a day in your life where you didn't eat much?
+Whitney Tfankedjian and in her other videos she goes IN and eats pretty well
i know you're not on any diets but it seems like you're on hflc
NOPE! I LOVE FAT
Oreos are in fact NOT vegan
In some countries they are, unfortunately in mine they are not :( check out the nutritional info of oreos in your country, or google it
They are in the U.S. and Canada.
you should eat way more, that luch scared me :/ seams like you are calorie restricting :/
