In a league with Emmitt Smith, Dan Marino, John Elway, Barry Sanders, Deion Sanders, Jim Kelly, Steve Young, Troy Aikman, and Jerry Rice, he won 3 MVPs IN A ROW.
Lots of folks throw picks; no one else has done that.
"He smells like leather and America" 😂😂😂😂
all time quote
now you know you're a big shot when you got Rick Flair mentioning you
he said be higher maybe because of his interception soo what he a monster
An amazing quarterback to watch, but his greatest strength (his arm and fearlessness) was also his greatest weakess, unofrtunately.
I love me some Favre, but when it's all said and done, in an ALL-TIME list, 8 is just about right, I think.
My favorite qb of all time
I hope Otto Graham was on this list, I would put him number 1 but most people would disagree so at least top 5
Otto Graham should be but most of the people who watch these probably don't even know who he was
He is #5 on the list!!!!
Underworld Films thanks i know
No clue
Tyler G No.
He should be in the top 5 the people who made this are higher than a fucking plane
Cardboard Tastes good tru
Cardboard Tastes good Brett Farve is Top 10 QB but He Damn Sure Not Top 5. Brett Farve most INTS All Time and Brett Farve Ended Packers Seasons With Boneheaded INTS vs Eagles and vs Giants. And Playoff game Rams 45 Packers 17 and Brett Farve 6 INTS that Game. Brett Farve Not Top 5 All Time. Brett Farve ranks in the 8 To 10 Range
Brett not in their top 5 is a fucking joke in my book. I saw him play many a times, know how good he was.
you mustn't have saw him throw the interception against the giants late in 4th and against the saints in the NFC championship games
mark perez are you kiddin me? I remember both of those games in vivid detail. sure, ultimately costly INTS but Brett was still a brilliant QB that can turn your team around; gamechanger. both those teams don't go anywhere near that FAR without him too, and that's a fact. I bet you his teammates would ride or die for him, he gave everything he had. even when getting pummeled, etc. he dusts himself off and keep attacking. those picks came from trying to do "too much" to help team, *after getting them so far mind you*, and I can respect that.
+mark perez It amazes me how people forget that Adrian Peterson fumbled the ball four times in the NFC championship game against the Saints. Not to mention the penalty would fall start by the FB. Which force bright to try and make a play to put them back in the field-goal range.
0:20 yes he is
ppl complain about favre INTs. what matters is winning. he ranks 2nd in most wins all time.
apope06
Favre 1 Superbowl in 19 Seasons 😂
Winning?
Chirs Lane yes. statistically he was the most winning qb in history. now number 2 all time to peyton. look at the facts. also, favre didn't have bellichick or a defense after 98.
apope06
Brady >>>>>> Favre
apope06
Td Passes
P Manning 539 (1st all time)
Favre 508
Ints
Favre 336 (1st all time)
P Manning 251
Passer Rating
P Manning 96.5
Favre 86
Superbowl Rings
P Manning 2x
Favre 1x
Superbowl Mvps
P Manning 1x
Favre 0
NFL Mvps
P Manning 5x (Most Ever)
Favre 3
First Time All Pro
P Manning 7x (Most Ever)
Favre 3x
Peyton Manning more TD passes and fewer Ints then Favre
Peyton Manning better QB then Brett Favre
Mario Andrews exactly and if you give Marino that many years in his era he would be above farve and probably have almost 600 TD’s and 73’000 yards
yes. favre thru INTS. but... manning, wilson, etc thru game losing super bowl ints!
apope06 Brett Farve throw Losing INTS vs Eagles in Playoffs. and Vs Giants in Playoffs and when he was with The Vikings Brett Farve throw INT in Playoffs vs Saints and Lost. And when Farve was with Packers Farve throw 6 INTS in a Playoff Game vs Rams and Lost 45-17
reallife935 favre played well in his super bowls. unlike manning.
apope06 he did nothing Rodgers outperformed him and won mvp
@@apope06
Brett Favre only played in 2 superbowls 😂
Manning didn't throw game-losing picks like Favre did. Compare the two separate Porter INTS that they both threw. Favre's was mind-numbingly bad, whilst Manning's was, though obviously not a great throw, a great play by Porter that demonstrated mastery of the Corner position. Totally different picks.
Guy has the 2nd most career passing yards, 2nd most passing yards and the toughest person ever on offense but ranked number 8th on all time QB list... ok then...
PrimetimeGaming Brett Farve ranks 1st In INTS All Time and Ended Packers seasons in Playoffs with Bone Head INTS twice vs Eagles and Vs Giants last pass in Lambeau. And Rams 45-17 beat Packers and Brett Farve 6 INTS. lol Brett Farve not Top 5 QB all time he is Top 10 probably in 8 to 10 Range
Ya Boy Eddie also most interceptions
Ya Boy Eddie he played over 20 years of course he has all those records Marino would have more if he played as long as him
@@ripeddieransburgh1152 how come Brady,Brees or Manning have nowhere near the interception numbers Brett has
@@elbowgang9715 they were good at protecting the ball favre wasn't
favre and marino should be in the top 5. favre should be 3. was my favorite.
Favre belongs in the top ten, but idk about top five. Unitas, Elway, Marino, Brady, Manning, Young, Montana, all better QBs. I'm sorry but Favre's turnovers just bother me too much(especially considering that a lot of them cost his team playoff wins).
@@yetz2291 favre has the super bowls over marino so that just edges him for me
Bret Favre-(2 touchdowns/2 interceptions)
Joe Montana #1 as that's a no brainer ! Most accurate passer in history,he could drop back pass, throw on the run with deadly accuracy, could scramble,he did it all. 4-0 in super bowls with no interceptions. The guy was clutch and closest to perfection that your ever going to see.Any questions ? I didn't think so.
Its started great then they just criticised him lol, aint you gonna appreciate greatness ;).
Yeah he threw a lot of picks but his INT% is better than a lot of other HOFers. He sits at 3.3%. Some of the most revered QBs of all time are higher than 5% with the great George Blanda at 6.9%, more than DOUBLE the rate that Favre threw. Favre just tended to throw them in bunches and at some pretty horrible times.
Disagree, Brett Favre made to many mistakes to be above Steve Young. Steve Young was a Superbowl MVP, Favre won his ring thanks to the Patriots giving up two touchdown kickoff returns.
I am a packer fan and WTF IS HE DOING #8?!?!?!?!? The only problem with him was he was an interception machine but damn could he throw a football
Gemini Man packer fan me too
Gemini Man Brett Farve ranks in the 8 To 10 Range but he's not a Top 5 All Time QB.
You're not a true packer fan then
He was only an "interception machine" because he was a gun slinger, and took a lot of chances that most other QB's normally don't! The irony is that the same thing that led to all of those interceptions is the SAME thing that made him so great - his willingness to take those chances!!
I'm a life-long 49ers fan, but Brett Favre is one of my all-time favorite athletes. This man truly was special!
I did 2 years research and literally wrote the book on Hall of fame quarterbacks. I set up a formula that first compares a quarterback to the average quarterback of their era and then takes that info and then compares that to all other hall of Famers and Hall of Famers to be. Some of your rankings are very close and one is right on but some are pretty far off. Steve Young actually #9. He would be higher if not for his short career.
Roger Staubach ditto, per game played Roger is the best the game has ever seen but his short career makes him #7.
Brett Farve, his longevity and durability and ceiling make him one of the best ever. However his lack of discretion leading to a record 336 interceptions make him #16 out of quarterbacks to start their careers after 1947.
Dan Marino was a great pure passer and set the league on fire 1984-86 but dropped off production after that and it seemed no one ever noticed. He was the best protected quarterback in history but even so has to settle for being #12.
John Elway was athletic, determined and a great leader but not a great passer. His passing stats are among the worst in the Hall of Fame and not very far above the average quarterback. He is basically Bobby Layne 30 years later. Do you know who Bobby Layne is? Elway is #21, Layne #22 and in my 16 categories they are rated virtually the same in nearly every one.
Otto Graham was the 4th best quarterback from the 1950's if you don't count Johnny Unitas. He is here because he played on teams that won because of great defense. To be precise the 3rd greatest long term defense of all time behind the Purple People Eaters and the Steel Curtain.
Johnny Unitas you hit right on the head #4.
Peyton Manning is the second best per game played of all time and played long enough to keep his #2 ranking.
Tom Brady, the popular #1 but his play does not indicate that. He is the popular choice because he played for a great coach and on teams with 17 top 10 defenses, 9 top 5 and 5 top 2 defenses. Only Otto had anything remotely close to that percentage of great defenses and Otto only played 10 years and only 6 in the NFL. Brady is considered so high only because of the championships that were led by his defenses year after year. He is #6 but if you take the championships and his longevity out of my equation and you rank him just on his own personal play he would rank right next to Brett Farve and below a couple of quarterbacks that did not make my original study named Matt Ryan and Ken Anderson.
Joe Montana, per season, had the greatest defenses of anyone in my study. Otto was not part of it because all the stats I needed were not available when he started playing. Joe is #13 all time. Something interesting that I learned in my research is that the 49ers had great defenses and running games and were the best overall team in the league at least 6 or7 times when Joe was their quarterback.they actually underachieved in winning just 4 titles.
The best of all time if you compare how much greater they were than the average quarterback of their era is Fran Tarkenton who was saddled with the worst team in football twice in his career and did not play for a competitive team until year 13 of his career. He is the only quarterback to be the best in the game for two non overlapping 7 year stretches. Manning could have accomplished that if not for an injury.
#3 is Drew Brees who had to carry the second worst defenses of any Hall of Fame quarterback and led the greatest long term offense of all time.
#5 is Y.A. Tittle who labored for mediocre teams for 10 years before landing with a competitive team and going to 3 straight championship games. Era adjusted he was the king of the 4th quarter comeback.
Aaron Rodgers is #8 and climbing. Actually he was #8 after the 2020 season and is likely above both Staubach and Brady right now. Only Manning has more MVPs and nobody has a touchdown to interception ratio that can come close to Rodgers.
Dan Fouts who outperformed Dan Marino year after year but didn't come into the league with as big a splash is #10. Fouts had the largest difference between the quality of his defenses and his offenses throughout his entire career.
No offense your book sounds like bullshit.
He didn't have a very good playoff record. He beat Steve Young several times, but that was because the Packers had better O and D lines.
Should be at least 4
Most fun QB to watch...
NUMBER ONE IS JOE MONTANA
hopefully it's not Brady
It's actually Brady m8
PLEASE NO
hell no his 4
Rick Flair! Wtf??!!
Greatest quart back in the World ever to set foot on a football field.
What an Amazing person !
God bless You Brett
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Missionary of Jesus Christ
Michael Steven Burnett
I would put him at 2 behind Elway
What is Bryan callen doing here wtf
If I made a list of top 10 NFL QB Brady isn't even on the list or honorable mention
Austie Aust lol okay lemme guess he’s a product of belichicks “system” right... how did that system work when bill was in Cleveland 😂😂😂
What number 8 he should be number 4
yeah Rodgers would be on this list in 2022. and in about 5-10 years Mahomes will be top 5.
wtf Farve is 8?!??!!? who made this list?!?!
WhoozyOMO You Right Brett Farve should be 10th
Mahomes is similar
How is Favre on this list
1st

Don't get me wrong bro Vick my guy and I'm from VA, he my favorite QB of all time, but he ain't top 10, but we'll NEVER see another like him either tho
If he never got locked up Vick would of been #1

Aaron Rodgers?
Hey,
*To all the haters* I'm sorry how many NFL records do you hold??.....*NONE* that's what I thought
Andy Benoit looks like a lesbian
Favre was an interception machine. Barely Top 20.
Dumbest comment in UA-cam history
Get some brain cells bud!
2:05 he refused to not play to keep his streak going even when he was hurt which cost his teams not a top 10
I think Favre is overrated, too many interceptions and he wasn’t as clutch as people say he is.
You crazy as hell
I'll give you 336 reasons why he's not in the top 50.
go ahead william
Favre should be higher
Vbajor10 Nope he Shouldn't Brett Farve not Top 5 All Time. Brett Farve ranks in the 8 To 10 Range
reallife935 didn't say he should be top 5 but think he should be higher than 8
Vbajor10 Top QB 1.Montana 2.Brady 3.Elway 4.P Manning 5.Unitas 6.S Young 7.Marino 8.Staubach 9.Rodgers 10.Farve
reallife935 no way Rodgers is top 10 already no way he's not better than favre will he be eventually maybe but now no way
Vbajor10 Aaron Rodgers at age 33 is a better QB then Brett Favre. Rodgers destroys Favre in TD to INT ratio and Passer Rating. And Rodgers did something Farve never done and That's Rodgers Won a Superbowl MVP. Rodgers more Efficient than Farve. Rodgers gives you all the Big Plays as Farve without the Bone Head INTS and Turnovers. Farve Led NFL in INTS a few Times. Rodgers Highest Passer Rating in NFL History and Best TD to INT Ratio In NFL History. Brett Favre most INTS in NFL History and Peyton Manning pass Brett Favre for most TD passes so Farves not Number 1 in that. Rodgers is the better QB then Farve and I would rank him ahead.
not a fan of the packers, but this is awful positioning! at least top 5
Most interceptions does not make top 5
Brett Favre SHOULD be aleast should be 5.
Ben Roethlisberger > Brett Favre.
Aaron Rodgers > Ben Roethlisberger and Brett Favre.
This is a joke. Brett Farve at #8... he should be in the top 5.
Hate Brett farve. Always will wish nothing but the worst
Overrated
Favre is extremely overrated. His rate statistics are slightly-above average, but because he played forever, he's given a slot in the top-ten. Awful.
How could someone ever grow to be as dumb as you?
Please teach us!
"#8 Quarterback of all time"
Leads league in interceptions 4 times and has the all time record for career interceptions
