I played guitar in bands 40 years ago and just took it up again a few months ago when I started going to church and the pastor asked me to play for the services. Since we had a rhythm guitarist, I started playing bass and some lead guitar. Relearning my skills is much easier with channels like this instead of spending hours trying to figure out songs like I had to do in the '70s and '80s. There were no good Christian contemporary songs back then either. Looking forward to exploring this channel. If anyone knows other channels for guitar or bass I would appreciate linking them.

After putting my guitars down for several years ( 10 or 15), I find myself back to serving the Lord and my church in another praise team and having to crash course the newer songs. Thanks for doing this tutorial! Our praise team is doing this particular song for the 1st time. (LOL they don't even have the sheet music for it yet.) Thank you also for sharing the Gospel. It is very refreshing to hear others share the Lord and their faith. May the Lord our God bless you.

I've always been "Too loud", Too heavy" or "Too distorted" to play worship. But God is cool with the way I play. I watched your Kemper SRV patch video from about two years ago and I see you play very similar to me. You "ring its neck" and let it "scream and wail". So I'm Very interested in the Kemper. But have many questions, I'm a big tube amp fan and love old valve amps and I want them all, but can't for obvious reasons. Your Kemper sounds killer in that video!!!
Does th Kemper respond like an amp? Play heavy/soft and it responds? (Yours does seem to on that vid)
If you turn down the volume on the guitar does it react like an amp?
If you change guitar does it give a different sound?? like a Strat/Tele/LP/Ricky etc would??
