It only feels like a couple years ago I was playing Minecraft and Destiny 1 with my friends. That was 7 years ago in middle school, and now I'm about to start my junior year of university...
Minecraft ps3 Edition was my first experience with Minecraft I played the very first version of the ps3 edition. I remember seeing Minecraft on someones tv asked my dad about it and my dad found out when it was releasing and got it for me as a surprise. I remember being called into my parents room and my mom and my dad holding the game. I was so excited and went to my ps3 immediately to play it. The best part is I still have my ps3 and all my old worlds some of them are tutorial worlds because I liked seeing all the new tutorial worlds each time there was a new one. It became my new favorite game on ps3.
yo I agree with that. It always made your world feel special having only a very limited space to build and you would know the map like the back of your hand eventually. That you can never do with infinite Java worlds
Other generations will never understand how nostalgic Minecraft was back then. Playing it for the first time is an experience you’ll only ever get once in your life
Classic case “back in my day.” I’ve been playing since 2016. Every generation feels nostalgia-just because we feel nostalgia for this, doesn’t mean they won’t feel the same about modern Minecraft. One day, you will place your last block, and then someone else will place their first.
3:31 Yo I just had a flashback to my childhood, there was a glitch on Bedrock where if you mined a block of iron or diamond and then quickly placed the block again in the same spot, it had a chance of duplicating the block. Me and my cousin broke every survival world we had at the time with that glitch.
damm i just remembered that i played minecraft in my x360 it was only tutorial castle because i couldn't afford minecraft but it was reaaaaly fun playing same thing over and over again...
This brings back memories of when I played Minecraft legacy edition on the Wii U and all I would do is play on a survival world or play my favorite mini game battle all day long
battle was so much fun back in the day. When it first released that was a dream come true. everyone back then had always wanted servers like Java with minigames to play and battle was like it was really happening
The pixel art brought back so many memories! I remember back on the old 360, me and my brother made a “super smash bros” style fighting map with different, balanced classes, and my brother was older than me and way better at redstone, so he did some magic with it and made the map fully automated. It was so fun back then, when redstone was still a bit primitive!! Thank you for reminding me of the good old days hehe
The redstone part sounds so cool and complex especially back then when there wasn’t all the fancy redstone machines you can craft now. Seems like a fun map you had, do you still have the world saved anywhere?
The problem here is that the development of games has been stagnant for 11 years. We have lived to see a time where what limits developers is not technology, but the lack of willingness to do anything.
I remember making a large hunger games world, where all the players would spawn in a central hub and then we would pick different maps to play on. We had large maps, small enclosed maps and in the end I built a very large map with lots of elevation. I even did a halloween event where whenever you won I'd give you a ticket and you could put it into a machine that would dispense a random item for you to use next match. My friends played it alot for a good month before our minecraft fase stopped. Good times
i remember like 9 years ago as a kid I played minecraft on my xbox 360 and i made the whole sponge bob town with hidden paintings. omg time goes by so fast
One of my old words and most memorable was one where it was filled with very random buildings I built with my cousins whenever they came over. That was nearly 8 years ago. I remember making a fighting arena with two giant diamond swords at the top acting as the statue.
The five nights at freddys build hit me with a wave of nostalgia. I used to build so many fnaf inspired builds. I had creative super flat worlds filled with every map from the early games.
With whatever packs come out to make new minecraft to feel like legacy. Nothing better then switching on my 360 and playing Minecraft Legacy in its full form. Im kind of glad legacy stopped updating, 1.13 is now nostalgic for me and I love it on my 360.
The memories of me and my cousins did in the ps4 Minecraft where we all played the tutorial world in split screen and went nuts, how miss those memories. 😢 Now all of us are busy with work, sad reality
The Xbox one I still have from 2014, still has one world I haven’t visited since 2014, but I have never gone on it because I want to see it stay at 2014 lol, it was only a super flat world 😁 My oldest world on my Xbox 360 is way older, man I need to visit some old worlds🙂
Omg i have countless old minecraft worlds on xbox 360 with recreations of the fnaf 1 & 2 maps. Id loved building them, every new world id build one or 2. Seeing the fnaf minecraft map in your 2nd world made me smile so much
I spent a lot of time on the title update 9 tutorial world on the xBox 360, specifically just wandering around and looking for the music discs. I remember being really surprised when I found the “dungeon” in the woods, the small air tank under that one pond, and the house in the swamp.
the dungeon in the woods shocked me loads too that was such a good find. As a kid finding it I thought of so many mysteries about how that dungeon would have gotten there
I remember when I was six and would visit my dads house and we would play the early versions of minecraft on our Xbox and we would make pillars to other places in our world and I revisited it a bit ago, just might again after seeing this :)
Dude your worlds are so much cooler than mine. I just looked at my own Nintendo switch edition worlds and I built my house on a glacier biome out of multi colored stained glass blocks.
watching this reminds me of just making new worlds with myself or my cousins and we would just build house blow up forest and just make obstacles and a arena to fight in
Editions mode is just amazing, i dont know whether all ps4/ps5 users have it, nonetheless its still a blessing to play such an old version that feels so nostalgic.
Minecraft PlayStation 4 edition and Xbox One edition are like perfect idk why a bunch of people say Legacy sucks and bedrock is better, can’t forget legacy had a lot of skins and worlds from movies and games too and the tutorial worlds had Easter eggs even the mini games too like Tumble, Glide and Battle.
This is me with my Xbox One! I still have it with Xbox Edition Minecraft and there was a time when I was going to sell it but thankfully I didn’t! Interestingly I kept its box to so it just feels nostalgic when the console is 10 years old and it truly doesn’t feel like it!! 😭
man my first ever world and first time playing minecraft was on 360 the week it came out (early bday gift), the TU1 tutorial world, & i got my big brother + his friend and our dad to all join on splitscreen after they had seen me play. we each built bases near the world borders (mine was near the pre-made lighthouse!) and then eventually i moved into the carved out mountain/hill base my dad had started closer to the actual tutorial area with the village and castle. i remember some of my online friends building in the other village to the south and we saw our first charged creeper there! we even built a indoor/outdoor rollercoaster going through my dads mountain base and going through part of the overworld. my dad built a very basic mob grinder behind the south village too, he had me help him get the cobblestone because i wasnt into much building back then but loved mining. my brothers friends came over every day of that summer and theyd all fight over the two splitscreen spots we had spare (it was my world so i was always player 1, and my dad who bought the game and the 360 always had a spot too LOL) my dad also eventually made his own world on his profile which started out as survival but eventually went into creative because he had a lot of ideas for builds. he built these massive i mean massive fantasy like trees across the map and each one was several floors high on the inside with full on bases, and then even had underground tunnels all beautifully decorated connecting them across the map to the world borders etc. he truly had so many amazing ideas and it made me really sad when he stopped playing minecraft and games in general around 2015/2016. though he does enjoy when i show him some of my builds or the updates like the big cave one :) i think im the only one out of most of the people who played on that world who still plays minecraft, and im currently in what i thought would be another 2 week minecraft phase, but has turned into something longer and better because ive been playing it really slow. minecraft is easily my most played game of all time with over 10k hours maybe even over 15k between legacy console and java. bedrock is okay but its my least played because i was more into java by the time microsoft was really starting to push it. i ended up converting that OG world to java/pc eventually too, i transferred it to xb1 from 360 (idk if that feature still works now but this was years ago), and then xb1 edition to bedrock, made it a realm with the 7 day trial, saved the file to my pc, and then used an unofficial converter from bedrock to java. its not the best version of that world like it has a lot of griefed stuff or wacky chunk/world border stuff, but its not corrupted and i have made several backups of the file so that i will always have some version of it. i dont play on it often but i would like to transform parts of it like how you have all those uncompleted random builds on your old worlds, i have sooo many as well lol i also no longer live at my parents so i dont have access to that xbox one with some of my other 360 worlds i transferred, and im not sure if our 360 got stolen when we moved a few years prior, so i may have also lost a lot of those too.. but im grateful i have the world thats most important to me! your videos are great jeroo even though i only found your channel today. i love the background music choice and your editing is quite simple which i honestly really appreciate vs over the top ones to keep viewer retention/adhd attention spans. hope you keep making vids on whatever minecraft stuff you wanna talk about dude :)
man that pikachu pixel art just unlocked the saddest memory. i remember i had spent 2-3 hours as a kid on a large pikachu only for my power to flicker when i had LITERALLY just finished and my dumb child self turned off auto save bc it took forever to save. i can remember bawling to my mom after 😂
Honestly, like your FNAF2 build, I built the FNAC's map (Five Nights at Candy's) in a Redstone world I had. The world was filled to the brim with different Redstone contraptions; Daylight Tracker (depending on the time of the day, it'd switch between 3 different colours - Red for Night, Orange for turning Night, Green for Day), Floor Doors, Armour Switcher (press a button and it'd switch between 3 different armour stands), Noteblock songs, ect. And I actually remember building my first house, it looked hideous. It was a Diamond rectangle filled with tamed wolves and fences. I also built a giant Megazord at one point (it was about 200 Blocks tall) and then my dad blew it up thinking it wouldn't save and pretended it vanished on its own, he only recently told me he blew it up (it's been around 7 years). ._.
I had a super flat world with gold as the ground. I made it when glazed terracotta was first added; and there was nothing but a hotel made of gold blocks and dark oak stairs, and it had pink glazed terracotta as its flooring. There was some weird McDonald’s thing outside it, and then a road leading to nowhere. That’s all there was. It was so surreal, so liminal. It feels really weird to think about something that existed once, but will never be touched again….
A dupe glitch i used way back when was using pick-block, an item frame, and a crafting table, you would pick the duplicating item and then quickly break it down into its smaller form, blocks to diamond for example, and then you would uncraft both the duped and real block giving you double real diamonds.
perhaps that's what I did maybe? I remember back in xbox 360 old days you could mine a block of diamond and quickly place it down then could craft the ghost block into diamonds but I didn't like doing that because it made the world get boring too quickly
bro i played in 2015 on my ps 4 it was new. I lost all of my worlds due to hdd failure. I tried to extract the files but... I miss old minecraft so much, especially the tutorial world and the minigames.. I would use to play the elytra minigame i miss it so much and the shovel one. when i saw this video i got so much nostaligia. My first creative world was a superflat, you could costumize it. I made it out of TNT. I also made the titanic with one of my friends, i used to play. i remember when i learned that you could color the dogs necklase. I remember iron was my favorite ore. i remember when i did not know how to play survival. i remember the old vilages. I remember the creative world i made with my friend. There were like levitating houses and i made a hacker house because of noob vs pro vs hacker. I remember the mashup packs the christmas one. I watched dan tdm, exploding tnt, golden armor. I MISS OLD MF MINECRAFT
I wish I could do this. When the big update came out I was so excited to switch from PlayStation 4 Edition to bedrock, but I had to much stuff saved on it so I deleted a bunch of world without thinking I might want to come back to them
I remember playing those online pvp games and finding online friends through that and we’d always play together and build. I wonder how they’re doing now
Still have my 360 copy. My original 360S Red Dot Of Deathed and somehow fixed itself, I was going to transfer my worlds to my XB1 but the 360S brought back its Red Dot of death last year. I have yet to get a data transfer cable to transfer the worlds from the 360S to my 360E (Walmart blue edition) so I can transfer them to the XB1. To this day, that Xbox 360 still is plugged in, I occasionally power it on to see if it will fix itself for me to quickly transfer my worlds to my XB1. My oldest world is the “Controller Tutorial” world TU11. It was so old the build height was low, so when the build height was increased, I made a addition to a tower I made of bedrock.
On our Wii U, me and my brother have a world called No Cheats 2. on that would, we built the best stuff. a huge house in a cliff, a forest of trees, a railway system to the end portal, a fishing hut in the middle of the lake, tree houses, castles, a village on the water, and when the aquatic update hit we build a big wall separating our ocean and lake. however, now our Wii U's screen is broken and we cant access the anymore. But we might buy a new screen for it and if we do I will try to record it and post it on youtube just like this guy! (BTW if anyone wants to ever play legacy edition with me I will gladly accept. I also play on PS4 so I still can play but i just don't have any worlds on there.)
woah that is a hard realisation. Legacy was the best game I played in my childhood and when they discontinued it I was pretty disappointed with the direction they were taking Minecraft

i also no longer live at my parents so i dont have access to that xbox one with some of my other 360 worlds i transferred, and im not sure if our 360 got stolen when we moved a few years prior, so i may have also lost a lot of those too.. but im grateful i have the world thats most important to me!
your videos are great jeroo even though i only found your channel today. i love the background music choice and your editing is quite simple which i honestly really appreciate vs over the top ones to keep viewer retention/adhd attention spans. hope you keep making vids on whatever minecraft stuff you wanna talk about dude :)
Those creative worlds bring back trying to make lord of the rings in the ps3
Tho my ps3 corrupted
aw man that really sucks losing your worlds to corruption
@@JerooMinecraft I have made some worlds recently and also played a lot of mini games but my ps 3 crashes a lot
At 9:34 made me think of popularMMOS mod maps
I should be happy that i was able to experience such a good time of gaming or just in general but i still could cry qnq
man that pikachu pixel art just unlocked the saddest memory. i remember i had spent 2-3 hours as a kid on a large pikachu only for my power to flicker when i had LITERALLY just finished and my dumb child self turned off auto save bc it took forever to save. i can remember bawling to my mom after 😂
Hearing him say he destroyed his house purposely then accidentally saving js brought back sm bad memories T.T the one bad thing I remember abt legacy
That Mesa spike villa looks rad bro.
the stampy influence is insane ngl
BRO THE FNAF THING. I remember recreating all the maps from 1 to 4 with my friends and then play innit
I remember watching lots of Minecraft videos back in 2015 and 2016, but it was until 2018 I finally got Minecraft. And yeah I lost all my worlds.
This video was really relaxing to watch idk how to explain it by I really enjoyed it lmao
even tho these arent my worlds i still feel an immense amount of nostalgia
Those are way better houses than what I was first making
bro i played in 2015 on my ps 4 it was new.
When the big update came out I was so excited to switch from PlayStation 4 Edition to bedrock, but I had to much stuff saved on it so I deleted a bunch of world without thinking I might want to come back to them
Minecraft was so fun back in the 360 days ❤
I remember playing those online pvp games and finding online friends through that and we’d always play together and build. I wonder how they’re doing now
We started playing Minecraft near the same time!
14:05 thats so cool
thank you this was nostalgic
13:32 I remember there being a dupe glitch involving a chest where you pause and open the Chest
I still have the first playstation four i think like i got it the moment it was releaced same with my vr and they are in great condition 😊
I know bedrock has problems and not many loved... But playing it on a console just gives me the nostalgia.
wish I could see my 2012 xbox 360 worlds, I fondly remember the furnace glitch before creative mode
Remember building fnaf maps and prisons and modern homes with quart blocks because concrete wasnt a thing
When the Minecraft ps4 education came out I bought it and loved it and now my brother broke it
The dog army is just like stampy too loll
W memories
right!
1:30 epic unboxing
crazy to think that legacy edition has been discontinued for almost half a decade
woah that is a hard realisation. Legacy was the best game I played in my childhood and when they discontinued it I was pretty disappointed with the direction they were taking Minecraft
