They are delicious hot or cold imo. Here in Florida we call those stone crabs. I have a small boat and with a sports fishing license I am allowed something like 5 traps in the water during season. This year I will probably set some out. They are some good tasting critters. Great video as always my friend.

Great video, I need to find one of those steamers so I can try this myself. On another note love your I love me wall. What rank did you retire at? Retired as a MSgt myself and did a couple of years at Scott in the early 2000s. Keep up the great work. Look forward to some more videos

Thanks for watching James, I retired as a SMSgt. Currently work as a civilian at Scott. You can use any steamer setup, we bought this off QVC I think. Thanks again

I prefer to eat my stone crap chilled with a dejon dipping sauce. (Traditional here in Florida)
Don;t get me wrong, I would still devour them steamed too. : )

I agree 100%, liquid crab boil is best! So many folks use the powdered stuff for their seafood boils now days. However the flavor doesn't penetrate the meat as well. Those looked great! Cool steamer too.

Thanks for watching Big Lew, my Dad always used the liquid crab boil, he swore by it.

Really stupid procedure. Why don't you cook it in the seasoned water for starts?
