Dubia having the glass doors is a game changer. They're also cheaper and offer discounts. I love the wood look of zen but ultimately decided to go 100% with dubia.
Considering dubia just made a post in the last week or so that their enclosure killed a bearded dragon due to manufacturing errors and previous posts about leopard geckos dying between the glass and the substrate barrier i would just stay away from them.
The timing of this coming up on my feed is perfect. Was thinking about buying my gecko’s forever home soon but unsure between these two brands. Thanks for making this!
This was recommended to me right after I finished building my DubiaRoaches enclosure! I just recently adopted a female ball (she's undersized to the point where she can't be bred) but she is the SWEETEST thing. Awesome video though!
I love your honest opinions about these enclosures. I've got 4 dubia enclosures, 3 of them are the 4x2x2 and one is the 36x18x18, and I love them. Like you said, super customizable, a little tricky to get installed, especially the 36x18x18 (I had to look up a video on how to put the substrate bar in due to lack of clear instructions), and overall I love the way they look. I'll be eventually housing all of my guys in those dubia enclosures

I got zen habitats 2x2x4 enclosure. The taller one. And it was horrible. I had so many issues.
People have told me the same! They're welcoming in a completely new enclosure line this summer!

YES! The substrate bar confused me too! But love the look when it's finally put together!
