Dang, just the other stream you mentioned something about what if Rattata having OU levels of power is really unfun lol
Funny thing is there was precedent for this monster.
In DQM Joker 2, Sagittar was broken. Easily top 5 monster minimum. A boss monster with the traits Early Bird, Grand Slammer, Hit Squad, and Double Trouble, which allowed them to:
+ Move FIRST
+ Attack ALL opposing monsters with basic attacks and many physical abilities
+ Attack all opposing monsters FOUR times (particularly nasty with physical abilities)
+ Make TWO actions per turn (only one action per turn if you choose the action though)
And of course as a boss, it had boss stats. I played the game a lot when I was younger. Never synthesized or used it myself, but needless to say Sagittar being able to shred through nearly any team in just 1-2 turns with basic attacks was OP.
Love DQ and the monsters games but monsters like these make it obvious they're single player games with multiplayer as an afterthought😅

It's funny how in the original game almiraj was an early trash monster. Now look at it.

The meta is a mess and sadly don’t see it changing unless square enix cares that much about it so it was fun while it lasted

@@Moosebones I mean the meta is pretty much selflessness and personal grudge and last grasp or a stun team or benefaction to buff the team to wipe 1 or 3 turns or 2 large monsters doing kacraggle and hoping 1 or 2 crit. In terms of variety in team composition there really isn’t any.
There also a huge contingent of 4 small mon teams running double status. It all sucks but *why* it sucks is really interesting to me and I think will make a good video.
This thing still wouldn't stand a chance against my Esquilax.

@@gpaulso yeah itll allow you to outspeed some gem slimes which is a huge deal
Man I want to play this game so bad but don't want to buy it on switch with the bad performance.
People greatly overexaggerate the games bad Switch performance.
It's got issues at the change of seasons occasionally but the performance is mostly fine.
Yeah it really isn't that bad, it's an RPG and certainly doesn't threaten to crash like v/s
