So if anyone is still playing this then maybe you can help me out. Recently I nearly 100% completed this game, the only thing I'm missing is the " lock " item so that I can make the key for the school themed room. I have like 40 or more or the "key" item but can't seem to get the lock. Anyone know if it's just random and I'm unlucky? And I have another question about breeding. My newest monkey when bred, said it would get a bonus of 1 on all stats except strength which would get a bonus of 3. However upon maxing the stats of my new mon it had lower stats in every stat besides str, which was only higher by 5. All other stats were lower by 3 to 5. Anyone know why?

I've been playing this a lot sense seeing you play it, and I gotta say it's really fun. I gotta ask tho have you played Dragon Seeds or Monster Seeds for the ps1? DS is like monster rancher but with a rock paper scissors inspired battle system and MS is a tactical rpg where ai controls your monsters, they also have very limited life spans and talk. Fun games
