The Tundra just feels like the best option. The only thing the Pelington has on it is ADS, and that difference is negligable. The feel of the Tundra just in the way it handles is great. I got the snipers diamond but I still have a Tundra class for when I'm bored of the camo grind and just wanna quickscope a bit so yeah, Tundra all the way
I always use the SAS combat stock on the sniper rifles to boost aim walking movement speed, which is useful when an enemy is pre-aimed somewhere and you don't have time to come around the corner and then quickscope. A higher aim walking movement speed can mess with your aim a bit, but once you get used to it, it's really good. Also, it's good to point out that the SAS combat stock has a much larger effect on the Pellington compared to the other two sniper rifles.
My favorite sniper is probably the pelington because I loved using the m40/r700 as well as the sp-r. The single bullet reloads are also better for aggressive play because you can adjust how much you reload depending on the situation.
I know this is a way to push through the multiplayer side of things since I know your focus is going to start going WZ but I sincerely appreciate that you’re still putting them out thanks Ace 💙💪🏼
The M82 is amazing at objective/area control in pubs. it's not much slower than the tundra and once you are scoped in you can quickly kill multiple enemies even if you miss a shot. If someone wants to die pushing the objective he might as well bring friends. It also pairs very nicely with smokes and a thermal for emergencies (like breaking spawn traps). The Pellington is still my best sniper and I would always pick it against good players but those are too rare. I think the Tundra is still a very good gun but i don't know why you would pick it over the other two. To me, the Pellington is clearly better for quick scoping and if you dont care about the scope time you might as well get the M82.
So I took a year break from CoD and it seems in my time away i forgot exactly what "sprintout time" quantifies. Is it not the entire animation of raising your weapon again, but actually just the time when you are able to fire a shot again?
You're right, but you can fire before the animation ends on some guns because of interactions with attachments/ perks that allow you to have a faster sprintout value than the time it takes to raise your weapon. Like in CoD: WWII, where Gung-Ho let you fire immediately while sprinting, so if you sprinted then you pulled the trigger you'd just skip the raise animation and start hip firing immediately.
Really great video TheXclusiveAce, great work! Yeah i much prefer the Lw3 Tundra, i get way more one-shot kills and much less hit markers. The slower ADS time is worth it for the one-shot kill potential. Although the Pelington is pretty fun to use having a quicker ADS time. Good for smaller more rushy maps. Still though, the sniping is pretty washed out in CW, its always been my favourite playstyle in the franchise, and i feel like CW has just stomped on the sniping communitie's fun. I'm very dissapointed in CW bacause of that, amongst many other factors of the game, but all that aside, they have made a few small improvements to the sniper rifles and the aim assist since launch, which has improved it a bit, but it still hasn't been enough for me to actually enjoy the game and keep playing it. The SBMM is off the charts which takes a lot of the fun out of a casual shooter. Honestly it was a waste of money. I've been playing warzone lately a lot, which seems to be a bit better than CW multiplayer. The new "apocalypse" map is the best thing CW has done. Thats about it.
Supressor on Sniper is a good choice too because it doesn't downgrade your damage, just your bullet velocity a little, and that's a super argument when u know that the flash over sniper is less powerful than in MW. I can't play sniper without personally
I use the Pelington the most. Tigerteam, 7 round, infiltrator, serpent and SAS stock. I lose a few ms ads time, but I can peak corners wayyyy faster than people typically expect. The same combo isn't as effective on the Tundra, as the SAS stock doesn't affect tue aim walking speed as drastically.
Do the sprint to fire speed attachments actually make a difference on weapons depending on the class? I feel like there’s not much a difference on ars and smgs but on heavier guns there is a more noticeable one. It be really nice to see a full in depth on what attachments make a difference you can actually see to win more gun fights.
I have had these maxed out since about a few weeks into Cold War....just to get them out of the way. I do find myself going back to the Tundra often. I usually melee only...but when I start getting sniped by a camper over and over....I pull out the Tundra and put them in their place.
Also, I prefer the Tundra, but instead of the laser attachment I use the SAS Combat Stock. The added ADS strafe speed makes for sneakier (and quicker) picks, especially on Satellite when creeping behind the dunes on either end of the map. If you're aim is good that's the best sniper strategy for that map, in my opinion.
Hey ace why didn't you go more in-depth on the underbarrel attachments to see which one you can sprint and move faster in general. If you can please let me know why you didn't include and also, if you know what is the fastest movement speed underbarrel please let me know on that as well. Yet again this is up to you and i would appreciate it if you can tell me.
Only use the Tundra. The Tiger Team Spotlight is a must for me. I was looking over so many enemies without it. Also use the stock with the better sprint to fire time. I can tell a huge difference when I drop that and use the "sound moderator".
It has never worked like that in any CoD, including MW2019. The only time sprintout is relevant to sprint to ads time is when the ADS time is faster than the sprintout time, in which case the ADS time will be slowed to match your sprintout time.
for the pellingon and tundra I prefer the flashlight over the steady aim laser, even though I quickscope at close quarters, the flashlight is just flat out broken good
Would sprint out time be beneficial for snipers (quickscoping) ? I usually run the marathon stock because I thought it would make my sprint to scope-in time faster, but after watching this w/o you mentioning it Im not sure if its the play.
Crazily, the M82 with Calvary Barrel is far and away my most used sniper, simply for it's versatility in Lawbreaker setups. Can both snipe effectively when needed, especially since I'm on PC and always aim for chest to begin with, but more importantly also is a better anti-killstreak weapon than even the LMGs. Hell, might be better at that than the launchers lol.
u forgot, pelington has a stock that increases your aim walking speed by 70%. the highest u get on the tundra is +50%. so u can zoom in, peak hit and retreat much faster.
Something that I've found is that, at least on the Tundra, the Cold War snipers don't have scope glint in Warzone. Be it the 1-10x, 2-20x or just flat 6x scope, there's no scope glint to give away your position.
The tundra is my favorite sniper rifle because the M82 is just not good and I being able to get a one shot kill anywhere on the upper body. And I find that the upper torso one-shot kill is well worth adding the additional 100ms of ADS time from the Pellington to the tundra.
To make them easier to use at mid range, I used to put reflex-sights on them. I then proceeded to get hitmarker after hitmarker and then die over and over again
I went back and looked at the stats for the Locus and SVG-100 in Black Ops 3 to see if Snipers were stronger or weaker in Cold War. While the ADS and 1-Shot kill potential were better for Black Ops 3, I found Cold War with the faster fire rate made them much stronger in Cold War. In the end, it is still subjective as players value some stats over others, but at the end of the day, Snipers in Cold War had Aim assist, reduced flinch, and were much more common considering boots on the ground. Also, from what I've played, it is much more commonplace for players to use a Sniper in both Primary and Secondary in Cold War than any other COD I've played.
Is actual sniping like you could do back in the early days of COD or is it just not possible? Seems like your game footage and class setups were primarily focused on quick scoping and running around the map?
In Warzone, the type of bullet on the Pellington is 50. like the AX-50. THEN MAKE IT HIT LIKE THE AX-50 OR CHANGE THAT TEXT TO LIKE 9mm CUZ THAT’S CLOSER TO BEING REAL. The LW3 is my favorite cuz i’m tired of getting hitmarkers.

Only use the Tundra. The Tiger Team Spotlight is a must for me. I was looking over so many enemies without it. Also use the stock with the better sprint to fire time. I can tell a huge difference when I drop that and use the "sound moderator".
Great channel in my opinion on the top ones
Can we get a post patch analysis on CW snipers in WZ? Did they fix ads time? Do you recommend the 4x tundra that people have been using, etc.
I use the Pelington in league play. I know it's negligable, but man that Tundra feels SO SLOW compared.
If you don't mind me asking, whats the zoom level of the default optic? And favorite is the pellington and I don't know why, just works well for me.
2:42 Wow i didn't know that the sprintout time is irrelevant to the ads time. I always thought both delays would be added together like in mw19
It has never worked like that in any CoD, including MW2019. The only time sprintout is relevant to sprint to ads time is when the ADS time is faster than the sprintout time, in which case the ADS time will be slowed to match your sprintout time.
Your videos are so well organized
When can we expect the stats for the snipers on warzone
Does the hangman rf scope make your gun ads faster. It feels like it does but idk for sure
Thx 4 the stats spreadsheet buddy boi :)
Thank you did all the efforts and gun guides you do :)
for the pellingon and tundra I prefer the flashlight over the steady aim laser, even though I quickscope at close quarters, the flashlight is just flat out broken good
I have been waiting for something like this 😁
Love these guides!
Funny how the Tundra, which theoretically is chambered with a .30 cal deals more damage than the M82 which is a .50 cal
.308 big difference
Tundra is my favorite, but once I get warmed up with the m82 it is really fun to use
3 for 1. What a steal!
Do the optic attachments impact ADS speed?
Nope
The best channel ever
Tigerteambarrel, tiger team flashlight, airborne elasic wrap and the vandal speed loader
I like LW3 for quickscoping because if its consistency
How come they decrease ADS speed with the max tier suppressor? Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.
Would sprint out time be beneficial for snipers (quickscoping) ? I usually run the marathon stock because I thought it would make my sprint to scope-in time faster, but after watching this w/o you mentioning it Im not sure if its the play.
No. When your ADS time is longer than your sprintout time, sprintout becomes a completely irrelevant stat unless you're hipfiring.
@@TheXclusiveAce Got it, thank you
Crazily, the M82 with Calvary Barrel is far and away my most used sniper, simply for it's versatility in Lawbreaker setups.
Great setups, I can't snipe to save my life, I get lucky from time to time with the "Type 63" more rounds for me to throw down range.
Oh that's why I feel the most comfortable while using M82.
My L3 button doesn't work properly so I hardly hold breathe while shooting.
Something that I've found is that, at least on the Tundra, the Cold War snipers don't have scope glint in Warzone.
Be it the 1-10x, 2-20x or just flat 6x scope, there's no scope glint to give away your position.
what?
@@isidorekal1009 exactly as I said. I've been using the LW3 Tundra in Warzone because the scopes don't have and glint when ADS
@@deadarashi6462 Are you sure that tundra got not glint ?
@@isidorekal1009 purposly gotten myself killed so I can see kill cams while Im ads and there's no glint at all
Love your videos, i hope some day you break down snipers in wz
Only in Warzone bud that's the only place where you can snipe.
What is slowest ADS time possible for M82?
Your ADS and others ADS is so much faster than what I experience. It always seems slow to me and never seem to be able to quickscope
