ninja is a crutch for me. first thing i unlocked. i run that pretty much 24-7. cant do any flanking in high skilled lobbies or aggressive pushing without ninja. I will usually end up running 3 green perks or 3 red perks along with ninja, but when I run blue perks forward intel is a must.
@@dforer32makes sense, I run ninja and ghost a ton too with perk greed which I also permanently unlocked. Using this turns the scout pulse into one of my favourite streaks. It's basically a shitty HARP but for like a third of the cost. Turns all UAVs into advanced UAVs too. Such a good perk and well worth the permanent unlock I used on it.
@Franciscoxds still, much faster ads speed. They could have got rid of the tactical sprint imo. Now that I think about it, I stopped using it lately. Only when I run pretty far.
SHG did that last year with MWIII as a post launch perk, so it could be a post launch perk for BO6 as well down the line. We'll see if it ever happens.
My favorite perk in the game, since the beta even. Was my 2nd permanent unlock, after perk greed. Bigger mini map is the main appeal, but having directional arrows not only gives more information. It also is just bigger than a regular dot, so easier to notice quickly glancing up. Also love the elevation indicators they've added, also makes the harp feel much better to.
I’m glad you’re covering perks, it would be nice to get a sort of “perk loadout” type video for what your preferences are depending on what setup you’re using. Merry Christmas!
Foward Intel is slept on a lot on this game. I unlocked it permanently alongside Cold Blooded and use it on all my classes that I use Recon on, it's very good.
The spawns at 5:56 and 5:57 are absolute insanity. Watch the minimap. This is my favorite CoD in 5+ years, but the maps and spawns are by far the 2 biggest negative factors. This is why I actually stopped playing Domination altogether, even though it is one of my favorite modes. As I feel it has the worst spawns in the game.
Bro you wanna talk about spawns lol. Just started a game of ransack, I LITERALLY went prone for 3 seconds, the game spawned an energy right on top of me. He just looked down and shot.
I just don't feel that the minimap is super useful. With the size of many of the maps, there's no question about where the enemies are, they're basically on every sightline all the time.
If you want to get better, watching the mini map especially in ranked is the only way to properly predict where the enemies are spawning and located in relation to your team. Also where your teammates die so you know what lanes are uncovered.
@ I'm not playing ranked. There's not much point to the minimap in Stakeout 24/7. I know that there's going to be 3 enemies directly in front of me, 3 enemies directly behind me, and 1.5 seconds before one of us is getting an elimination.
I think for me Engineer is also a really good perk in the slot as well IMO because not only does it save you from BS traps that feel like cheap kills but also its a great way to tell if an enemy is in the area or not if you see a field upgrade in the room or even better if you see a field upgrade actually being placed down at that moment.
Been using this perk since launch, even used my 2nd prestige token to perma unlock it. The more information you have available, the better you're able to play. Super underrated perk
I agree. I started running only Forward Intel but Dispatch + Bankroll is way too powerful to run anything else if you are playing solo. Constant spamming UAV/Counter UAV and whatever third killstreak puts you and your team at a huge advantage for the entire game.
Dispatcher is great if you are going for the strategist specialty, but if you aren’t forward intel is definitely more powerful from my perspective. Forward intel consistently helps me stay alive and effectively approach gunfights better throughout a match. Whereas without it can’t effectively even see far enough on the minimap to pinpoint where enemies are, even when running a UAV
I always run dispatcher and bankroll plus the strategist specialty so that I can get stuff like napalm crazily fast in obj modes; I almost only use forward intel on non-obj modes and most of the time i can easily get the flow of the match by looking at my teammates indicator
@@emwols This is true. I love playing strategist, and it's been super good while I'm getting my scorestreak masteries, but I tend to throw myself at objectives and/or hold headglitches. I'd like some clarity on the scout pulse. Do my team mates see the dots? Can the enemy see that I have it? How does it compare to the UAV for duration?
I don't use it because after you play the maps with how small most are you know the lanes that people are going to come in. So it depends on the mode and what weapon I am choosing. When I am going for melee kills I actually use Tracker and bruiser. If I am going run and gun because of the chaos of spawns on most maps I use Shadow. I use forward intel only when I am going for long shots and doing more camping or holding a spot when it is more important to know where people are. But for the most part with the compass and the noise for the most part you know where people are even if they are using a suppressed gun because even without the pay audio you can get a pretty good idea where they are. On larger maps like rewind playing objective games it is a must.
I rely on forward intel in almost every class setup because it is such as huge buff to my play style. Having been a CoD player since 2007 - The first thing I learned was that mastering the minimap can make the difference between a 1.2kd and a 3.00+ K/D. @@liamking9255 I must be a pub anomaly but I exclusively run fast hands perk 2. Happy Holidays!

this perk is great but forward intel in cold war was on another level
