Dickon literally confirms that the siege of High Garden was his first battle. His second was Dany and the Dothraki. This episode is a throw back to King Robert. He made two important statements in season one. The first was about how only a fool would face the Dothraki in an open field. The second "he came running at me, this dumb high-born lad, thinking he could end the rebellion with a single swing of his sword.” King Robert was a drunk and a very poor king, but he was a very smart soldier and commander. He did it once by backstabbing his king to protect thousands of civilians from getting burned by the wildfire and he's done it here again. After witnessing the damage one dragon did to his men, he saw that Drogon was wounded and Dany was preoccupied trying to get the bolt out, instead of fleeing like a normal person would, he realized if he managed to kill Dany that this war would end even if it meant his immediate death from Drogon. This is why he charged, foolish perhaps but this moment perfectly captures Jaime as a person.
unbeheld brave yes, foolish 110% they can’t kill Dany unless they somehow put the dragons down first. Without their mother to control them, I fear for Westeros
@@TheSuperNats Nah what are 3 dragons with no control. I read new GRR Martin's book ''Fire and Blood'' which says how Targaryens rules, all of the dragons was born and raise at the Dragonstone and it was a normal thing when some of them run away and just live in Westeros being wild and all this stuff, no one cares xD
When Jaime charged Dany and the Dragon was one of the best most heroic scenes I can remember. So badass.
imagine a hoard of barbarians crouching on their horses, ululating at you.. thats terrifying af! :P
This is the only battle in Game of Thrones where I was truly conflicted. people on both sides I didn't want to die.
@LokiTetchgenuinely worried for Bronn though.
Fuck the lannisters
Yow been waiting all morning for this...
emilia as dany is best casting of all time. beyond iconic
it is crazy that you think that this is DICKON first battle, firstly and secondly put respect on his father. He beat prime robert baratheon, a feat who few people could accomplish (ser barristan level feat)
Randyl didn't beat Robert, Randyl's army beat Robert's army. That's too different things buddy. Nobody could fuck with prime Robert.
especially not karl tanner from gin alley ;)
They know this was his second battle. They said his first was glorious. His second, not so good...
@@Drimil3 He commanded that army. And a lot of people could kill a prime Robert pretty easily. A few names off the top of my head:
Ser Arthur Dayne, Ser Barriston Selmy, Ser Duncan the Tall, Two handed Jaime, Aemon the Dragonknight, Daemon Blackfyre.
Dickon literally confirms that the siege of High Garden was his first battle. His second was Dany and the Dothraki. Randyl only deserved a modicum of respect back during Roberts Rebellion cause he was a ruthless general for the Targaryens and didn’t suffer a defeat. But since then? He’s a disgusting human being. For what he did to Sam, how he treated him, his own son.and how he wanted to whip his own people so they’d move faster? Like the fuck lol. How can anybody root for someone like him. He deserved the respect over 20 years ago. He doesn’t now.
jamie having mad flashbacks from the mad king
every time red shirt laughed, the guy with the dreads had pure, visible irritability.
jeremiah enciu 😂
Can't believe you guys are here already followed u every ep through and it went fast af
Lol pat is adorable, his empathy towards animals shows me he’s a good person.
This was the episode I was waiting for! I really wish we had more of the dragons overall, they're amazing and terrifying at the same time.
"Yeah but he has armor on, that shit don't float", that's a quote right there
5:17 , that dude throwing a spear was played by Noah Syndergaard, ace pitcher for the New York Mets.
This is the episode where I'm officially sick of Rob and his blind hatred towards Jaime.
Jaime should have listened to him more!
those shots fo jamie watching people burn is like PTSD that is why when he saw daenarys he felt it was the noble thing to risk his life to put an end to this war even if it cost him his own life. I hope you guys watch jamie's tributes (Oathkeeper and Oathbreaker) because they help show you the deeper side of who the kingslayer really is.
I love how we all get so upset by the violence against the horses and dragons but not the people 😂👏🏼❤️
I looveeee this! Ive been looking forward to this episode! Watching you guys watch it literally took me back to when I first saw it. I was cracking up.
I love Davos's crush on Missandei
WoW,that was fast!😂🖤
i've been waiting on this reaction for so long lmao.
Omg the gap between P1 and P2 was like 7 winters long! :D
One of my favorite episodes!
Thank you for considering how it felt watching week after week then waiting months
"he got metal arm that shit aint float "
This episode was lit. Literally lmao.
"He has armour on...that shit dont float" bruh Im dead XD
Qyburn must've added some buoyancy tech in it.
"Only a fool would meet the Dothraki on the field" - Robert Barratheon Season 1
“Yoooo that dragon fire turned those bois to ashes so quickly”
Meanwhile there’s literally a stone castle MELTED by dragon fire.
That was one my favorite ambushes
Thank you for showing the part 2 of this exciting episode !! Your reactions lol 😂😂😂👌
That was always Robert's biggest fear, that the Dothraki would come to Westeros. They're UNGODLY in an open field. And with a dragon?! That's the winning army right there!
Patric is me with the horses 🤣
I hate that they keep getting violated in this show lol
Poor horses :'( Stop the horse violence pls, let them liveeee (┬┬﹏┬┬)
I no right. I only just realised that Jamie and brons horses get burned alive, I hate seeing shit like that lol x
DROGON & DANY ARE THE BEST 🔥
thanks guys
Finished watching part 1 checked for part 2 it wasn't there hit home it was on my recommended
Whats with all this hate for jamie. I hope you will react to Jamie Lannister Oathkeeper.
Rob is stupid
Fighting for the Dothraki is a sport. They don’t have fear but you could seen the Lannister army was quaking. Even Robert said “only an idiot would face Dothraki in a open field”.
This episode gives me LIFE 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
King Robert Baratheon did say, “Only a fool would meet the Dothraki in open field.”
What's a Lion to A Dragon Nigga...best line lol
3:28 Chills every time.
You ain't ready for another battle y'all!! Be prepared, your dreads will fly!!
This is the best reaction so far 😭😭😂😂
4:32 Oh great. Now I just can't help thinking about Drogon screaming:
*"Wassup ma ni**a"???*
Like what Robert Baratheon said in season 1, “only a fool will meet the Dothrakis in an open field!”
This is the best reaction i've seen
Yo! I've been waiting for this 😊. I'm so happy
now they have finish watching the season!
Oathkeeper Jaime compilation
Targareyan wolf jon snow compilation
R + L = J video
And I wanna see how bad the withdrawal they experience since they have to wait until april to watch season 8!
Jaime has the best character arc in GoT in my opinion! everyone grew from hating him to loving him
I never read the books, but I listened to a GoT lore youtube link that went into some Dothraki history and the Unsullied actually beat them in a previous battle.
for me this was also like kind of revenge for olenna :') cersei didn't get as much as she wanted from her highgarden, all destroyed ♥
I think it's cool they are conflicted with who they choose. It's called good writing
Honestly these reactions are amazing, but I feel that Rob is just ruining it for me whenever he says that Jaime needs to die. I feel that he just isnt open to seeing Jaime develop
You can’t block a broadsword with a foil. They probe to breaking and were mostly used for training. People didn’t actually fight with foil swords.
Y'all some real OGs drinking henny 😎👌🖤
To be fair the lanaster army did the best it could. I really did like the discipline they showed. Professional soldiers.
I stan Jaime!!
patric you know the game of thrones
