I'd like to thank carrier for providing me with tons of work over the years. If they just spent and little bit of extra effort in their units.....HVAC calls would drop by 30% industry wide. 😆
I was doing the PM at Burger King in Hermitage today, just a stone's throw away from your location! 1st year apprentice, so these Carrier units are a frequent flyer in my daily PM's. Always appreciate your wisdom and insight, I learn something in every video!
As an apprentice, love your vids man. Most of the equipment you service is what I’m thrown on and the insight you offer is great! Thanks and love from LA!
Seems overkill changing all of those parts. The heat exchangers are junk forsure but i dont find many issues with burners, flame sensors, igniton boards on carrier rtus
At least its not a 2020 lennox with a frozen lcd screen. I hate thoose things. Carriers though do fail a LOT from rubbing, i use some rubber pump tubing around the wires before i zip tie the bundle... you can see another previously fixed wire in that same case when you open it. I mean they must know that these units vibrate right ??
It's criminal that carrier does not use stainless steel on these damn heat exchangers. Then again, I've came to 1997 units untouched and the HXs are fine. It makes it tough in this industry when we have to work with pure junk. I longed for the time in the industry you could smile and shake the customers hand that this thing was going to work for a very long time.
It's best to replace it all at once for commercial clients. They love to refuse payment because it should have been "caught on the PM" 😂
Exactly! 👍 pinning this comment!
I wish all heat exchangers were that easy to inspect! Great job man
Thanks! 👍

👍
what is lead time on those heat exchangers for you?
I’m not sure 🤔
You mean to tell me that carrier's is no better than any of the others.
👍
If that is factory wiring in that blower section it is pretty sloppy
👍
178 thumbs uP
Thanks Steve
Do the warranty heat exchanger, clean the flame sensor and be done with it.
Ridiculous replacing all those parts on a 7 year old unit.
CROOKS!
Charge more money
