Vicki's home is absolutely beautiful! Wonder use of space. Her experience with losing her possessions from the earthquake has given her an outlook that shows up in her tiny home! Thanks Bryce and Rasa for presenting Vicki's story to us! Love the kitchen and like how it is a distance from the bathroom and sleeping area!
This home is beautiful and I love that the owner has processed how they now handle stress and how the home she has created brings her some peace. I also appreciate that the rented piece of land is a decent size, that the owner has not jammed people together for greed. Respect to them too.
I have enjoyed watching these videos for some years now and am sad that here in the US we are held back from building houses like this by zoning and building code laws. I have shaken my head continually over the urge of my contemporaries (I am 71) to build ever larger and larger houses. WHY? I always ask them this and am greeted with confusion and incredulity. There is a style of building called Earthships designed by Michael Reynolds that has been around since the 1970s that I have always yearned for but like most unconventional building techniques has fought for legal parity. Living a life less impactful (wasteful) has always appealed to me and I am glad to see that some people are doing it successfully. Thank you.
I am early 60s & my brother is 5 yrs older. He is in process of building a 5,000 sq ft mansion in Virginia. Sounds nuts to me. But he's lived in a small weirdly-laid-out house for decades that was all he could afford in the 80s, so it's hard to fault him for wanting his dream house. Mine would be closer to a tiny than a mansion.
I know that Vicki is a kiwi living in Australia. But the building codes in New Zealand are not prescriptive - they're based on performance (fit to live, suffisent light, sanitation etc etc) and have to fit into the context of its respective town/city - which again has region specific requirements. Once you get your head around that, it makes sense, and you can get creative
As a fellow American I believe the resistance against Off Grid living is tied to avarice and corruption more than safety issues. Off Griders are not feeding the power company and tax coffers like traditional home dwellers.
I love these Earthship homes. Curved to face the sun, entry via a sunny productive atrium greenhouse, creative stained-glass bottle walls in the bathroom, all topped by a wildflower meadow roof. What's not to like?
I can't even imagine what it must be like to lose a home in an earthquake, but she has come through it with a gorgeous Tiny home in an amazing setting. Well done! I love that this family has opened up their property to this little community too!
Thank you Vicky, for sharing your story of renewal with us. Thank you Bryce and Rasa, for this delightful tour of a truly remarkable tiny house with us. This was a hopeful tale of survival and ultimate success -- thoroughly engaging from start to finish. Cheers to all from Canada! ☘😄
This reminds of living in an efficiency apartment. You can appreciate having a home that is a simple way to enjoy living in nature. Massive homes with lots of rooms don’t make sense in the long run since you can only be in any part at any given time. This home gives you the sense of enjoyment of having the complete experience anywhere you look. Beautifully designed home❤❤❤
Nature give us life not the huge house. Because nature has a life, has beauty, has energy, has peace. The huge house is just a building, no life to interact...
Absolutely breathtaking and what a lovely person! Thank you Vicki for sharing your lovely tiny house and best wishes to you going forward in your new endeavors! God bless!

Hello Bryce and Rasa! Boy, Vickie has a great looking place! I love her porch! I am so sorry she lost everything in an earthquake! But she has really made a great home for herself in spite of everything! Thanks for showing this to us! God bless.
Man that garden and community is something I'd absolutely love to be a part of. It looks like paradise. And man, this tiny house is actually amazing. She has great taste. The green kitchen with the window is so eye-catching and pretty. I usually dislike a wardrobe not in the bedroom, but this solution when you can have a sleeping loft and just let it be such really spoke to me. There's plenty of space in the bathroom, and it was also a very calming and beautiful space. One of my favourite tiny houses, definitely.

Bryce this was fantastic! What she has done here is really exceptional. I’m sorry that she had to go through such a horrible event to get to this place, however she is in paradise now. Her touches and design are just incredible. I love the pendants And that wallpaper is to die for. That one window just is like having a framed print up there. And the outside two is gorgeous. Everywhere you go is calming. I love the build for only 24 feet it was really amazing. Thank you for the tour of your home. Cheers from California USA💜🤟🏻🇺🇸😎
Very lovely, and such stunning wallpaper and general design. Very inspiring to see pockets of co-tiny housing popping up also, particularly in a permaculture environment which is fitting.

Thank you again, Bryce and Rasa, for another wonderful video. Is there any chance of you making a documentary about the community here? It would be interesting to hear from the property owner about his motivations for opening up his land to others, how the community functions, etc. I could imagine you treating their story with your trademark compassion and enthusiasm.
This is an awesome idea. I would love to learn this story 😍
I’d love to hear more about that as well! 😃
Same here. ❤
Thanks so much ☺ I'll see what I can do 😉
Best tiny house and i love the colors
Beautiful beautiful🏠 💐❤️ tiny home. I'm happy for you Vicky. Enjoy life to the MAX! Your tiny home 🏡 is like paradise sourrounded with beautiful, loving nature and with your good neighborhood to protect you too. This is nice also as tiny retirement home. Just to improvise the stairs with the new technology. This would be awesome too as retirement tiny home. You got everything Vicky🏡💐🌞🌄 your home is more than a castle or mansion because it gives you a complete happiness😍
Every bit of her home is absolutely beautiful.
This is my new favorite home. Calmness..tranquility that's what I've felt after the show. When it's time for us to have a new home..Vicky's home will be the model. I fell in love with the paintings on her wall of plants. So peaceful.
Thumbs up to you Vicky..Bryce and Raisa.
Those my dream places to live sooo beautiful tiny house and garden!😘🥰👍
Absolutely beautiful home! So happy for you Vicki, it’s certainly well deserved…❤
its so homely i felt like i was invading on her privacy watching this tour. bless her!
This home is beautiful and I love that the owner has processed how they now handle stress and how the home she has created brings her some peace. I also appreciate that the rented piece of land is a decent size, that the owner has not jammed people together for greed. Respect to them too.
❤🙏
@@Regenerativegrowing I knew it had to be you guys as soon as Vicki started talking about the property 😊👌🏼
Thank you.
As a fellow septuagenarian I concur with you.
A lovely property owner renting the land to help people.
Vicky has such a wonderful energy! You really get a sense of how much love she put into the design of her beautiful little house. Such an inspiration.
I can't even imagine what it must be like to lose a home in an earthquake, but she has come through it with a gorgeous Tiny home in an amazing setting. Well done! I love that this family has opened up their property to this little community too!
Thanks so much ☺ I feel very lucky to be here too.
Just stunningly done! Could absolutely live here!❤️
Love it !!! Being connected to nature is the new normal for more and more awakened people. Thank You for sharing your lovely tiny house.
Hello Mirka
I love this location. It's so beautiful. It really enhances her tiny home.
Paradise! A little wonderfull house! I’m happy for her!
Hi Nora how are you??
Shes such a generous women❣️
Such an inspiration
I love it all but especially the green & copper lights & SHOWER DOOR IS STUNNING!!!!! I need this whole vibe in my life!!!
Hi Diana how are you?
Absolutely breathtaking and what a lovely person! Thank you Vicki for sharing your lovely tiny house and best wishes to you going forward in your new endeavors! God bless!
Hello Dyanna, how are you doing, how is your day going so far, hope you don't mind us bring friends okay
I really love this home and what she has done with it. The sofa is gorgeous along with all her colors she chose. The aqua with copper is stunning. I wouldn't change a thing. The views are amazing. This home makes me smile. I'm so glad she has found a new way of life after all she has been through. 🌴
Hi Sharon, How are you doing. Hope you don't mind us to bring friends okay
Every time I see one of your featured tinies I think "That's it! That's the one for me!" and then in a week there's another one -- each more beautiful than the last, like the 12 Dancing Princesses. I love them! Thank you for yet another demonstration of how to live simply with the essentials. "Enchanting" says it all.
What a lovely place to live with the nature. You are very very lucky.
This is an absolutely beautiful tiny home in such a serene setting!!❤🏡
I share my appreciation for the owners mentioned at the start, they are helping people and helping the environment. Wish good things for everyone in this community.
So beautiful! I love everything about this home. Perfect in every way. The colour scheme is so pretty. A huge high 5 to this a amazing lady who has come back thriving after such an awful disaster. ♥️♥️♥️
What a beautiful home 💚 And I appreciate Vicki being honest about the challenges the journey can bring of creating tiny house living, and how she noticed that stress reduction is really important now. Thanks for sharing your story and lovely home! 🙏🏻
👍👍👍A lot of people don’t realize how much an outdoor space adds to your living space.
This is lovely. My favorite home I’ve seen on this channel. I’m very happy for you that your tragedy led you here.
Beautifully decorated.. love those rainforest vibes inside as well as outside the tinyhouse.. And all the copperware is so unique and beautiful too! Such a cozy place to live in💚💚💚
Hello Bryce and Rasa! Boy, Vickie has a great looking place! I love her porch! I am so sorry she lost everything in an earthquake! But she has really made a great home for herself in spite of everything! Thanks for showing this to us! God bless.
Hello Sharon, How are you doing. Hope you don't mind us to bring friends okay
Hello Sharon
I love hearing that she is following her heart and where she is supposed to be. That is beautiful, as is her home.
I can't help but smile when I watch this channel. Bryce and Rasa are so blessed to be able to travel and meet the wonderful people living tiny.
Another beautiful tiny home! Thank you Vicki for sharing your home! Thank you Bryce and Rasa for bringing it to us!
Love from Ohio!!
I love how you’ve made even your water dispenser beautiful… the macrame is a great idea! Your home is warm and welcoming, just lovely.
Beautiful, calm colors. I understand the need to find less stress and general turmoil in life.
Hi Lisa how are you?
It is really beautiful, elegant, well thought, love the colors.. 🐈🐾
Hi Carola how are you?
Bryce this was fantastic! What she has done here is really exceptional. I’m sorry that she had to go through such a horrible event to get to this place, however she is in paradise now. Her touches and design are just incredible. I love the pendants And that wallpaper is to die for. That one window just is like having a framed print up there. And the outside two is gorgeous. Everywhere you go is calming. I love the build for only 24 feet it was really amazing. Thank you for the tour of your home. Cheers from California USA💜🤟🏻🇺🇸😎
Hello Liz
Very lovely, and such stunning wallpaper and general design. Very inspiring to see pockets of co-tiny housing popping up also, particularly in a permaculture environment which is fitting.
❤
Hello Anna, how are you doing. Hope you don't mind us bring friends okay
This home and surrounding area is just so beautiful and peaceful. She seems to be a reflection of all that I’m so glad she shared her experience and her home.
Vicky's sanctuary home is overwhelmingly beautiful. I am so happy for her that she can now live and heal in this awesome place.
She has an eye for design. I like her philosophy of living in a calming space. Beautiful home.
